The last episode of Mysterious Record Shop aired March 26 and it was Wendy who got to sing on that finale. Mysterious Record Shop only has 10 episodes which was hosted by talented singers/artists such as Yoon Jong Shin, Jang Yoon Jeong, Super Junior's Kyuhyun and Red Velvet's Wendy. For the entire series, Wendy got to sing 4 times, Kyuhyun 3 times, Jang Yoon Jeon twice and Yoon Jong Shin only once. The guests got to pick which song recommendation from the hosts they would prefer to listen to while on the show. Wendy being the guests' favorite most of the time on the show just meant how beautiful her music taste were which suited 4 times to different guests' music tastes!

Song Kang Grew Determined To Go After His Dream In 'Navillera' Episode 3

Chae Rok is starting to get attached with the old man Deok Chool and he's starting to realize his real goals as a ballerino. As Che Rok moves forward, Deok Chool's wife discovered about his secret and became hindrance to achieving his dream. I do thought that it was absurd for Deok Chool to go after his dreams at such an old age but I realized we shouldn't judge one person for finding their way back to go after what they really wanted. It's because only then, they will know what it really means to be alive. Deok Chool's wife's reaction was not surprising but she's the huge representation of the old people who were only living now to wait for their own death. It shouldn't be like that at all! In my opinion, it should be a time for them to do all the things they wanted now! I guess not all old people aged wisely. Ugh.

Song Joong Ki & Taecyeon Faced Each Other As Mafia & Babel's Chairman In Vincenzo Episode 11

I'm so thrilled that we're already at the most exciting part of this drama. The first half was more like a build up of the characters but now the excitement should soar even higher with the 2nd half. I didn't know that Vincenzo would have 20 episodes until recently, I just hope that they would use the remaining episodes to give us the top tier suspense from glorious face-off of Vincenzo and Jang Jun Woo. Let them go brutal all they want, they are both of the same feather anyways. It's a battle between two people who don't fear anything in this world. Hopefully Hong Cha Young won't bring down Vincenzo on that matter though.

The Penthouse 2 Sets An All Time High Viewership Ratings Beating Season 1's Record | Episode 12

Oh wow! I just knew it that this episode would garner a lot of viewers from my recent blog entry! I got goosebumps when I found out about how this season's episode 12 beats the season 1's finale episode record of 30.5% in nationwide viewership ratings! We aren't even on the finale yet of 2nd season! This is so amazing!!!

Oh Yoon Hee Pays For Her Own Sins In The Penthouse 2 Episode 12

Despite the success of avengers' plans, Oh Yoon Hee continues to repent for her sins towards Shim Su Ryeon and the lack of knowledge about her daughter's existence made her lose hope for living. The scene where Oh Yoon Hee was packing all of her belongings, I already have the bad feeling about it. I know that in order to get less distractions and execute their plans successfully, Logan did not mention about her daughter being alive, but this is so fcking heartbreaking that everyone knew about Bae Ro Na and the mother was left in the dark!!! Logan and Suryeon were all immersed in their own success that they have forgotten their accomplice, Oh Yoon Hee. I know I shouldn't feel this way and you guys might think it's absurd but I really despised Logan on that matter. 

The Penthouse 2 Keeps Winning On Nationwide Viewership Ratings | Episode 11

We're nearing the finale of this season but they just keep on proving that they are no. 1 not only in the most buzzworthy drama but also in viewership ratings too. Last night's episode recorded a 25.2% nationwide viewership rating and is ranked first out of all the programs airing that same time slot. 

The Penthouse 2 To Have Additional One Episode!

I thought that the additional episode that everyone was talking about was like its first season's commentary special episode, but when I researched about it, I guess I was wrong. The season 1 was supposed to be only 20 episodes but since one episode was cancelled due to baseball broadcast of SBS (November 17, 2020), the finale episode was pushed to a Monday. Since their schedule of airing time was every Monday and Tuesday, they added another one episode so their finale will fall on Tuesday that's why their original plan of 20 episodes became 21 in the end.

SBS Officially Cancelled Joseon Exorcist | No More Episodes Will Air From This Drama

Today, March 26, SBS officially confirmed the cancellation of Joseon Exorcist drama. They will no longer broadcast the remaining episodes even though the cast already filmed 80% of the show. SBS mentioned that they already paid most of the fees for the broadcasting rights to Joseon Exorcist before the termination of their contract. This is definitely a huge financial loss to both Joseon Exorcist production and its broadcasting network.

Mr. Queen Actress Shin Hye Sun Is Getting Hate Amidst The Joseon Exorcist Controversy

The Joseon Exorcist controversy is now getting out of hand and actress Shin Hye Sun is also getting involved with the backlash from Korean viewers. Even when Mr. Queen was long finished with remarkable high viewership ratings, more than a month as of writing, Korean viewers criticizing the show re-surfaced amidst the Joseon Exorcist's historical distortion controversy. We all know that Mr. Queen got backlash from the viewers too even way before it aired and during its airing period as well. However, upon release of statement of apology from Mr. Queen production, the hate comments slowly diminished for the succeeding episodes after 2nd episode. We all thought that the claims of South Korean viewers died down as the show successfully finished but we were all wrong! It seemed that Korean viewers aren't that forgiving at all!

Joseon Exorcist Drama Is In Big Trouble As It Faces K-Netz Backlash From 1st Episode

It's unfortunate that this drama has to face backlash from sensitive viewers only because of props used in episode 1. Joseon Exorcist may have gotten an adequate nationwide viewership rating on its first episode but it already disappoints some Korean viewers and dropped the drama on its 2nd episode. The root cause of all this? The Chinese props used when Prince Chungnyeong (Jang Dong Yoon) welcomed the western exorcist Yo Han and his interpreter Marco to a meal. K-netz were angered at use of Chinese foods such as mooncakes, dumplings and century eggs served for the guests. The alcohol that Marco devoured also was served in a Chinese style container and has a Chinese character written on it. All these made the K-netz sensitive and left a remark that this drama was distorting the nation's history. 

The Penthouse 2 Tops Weekly Most Buzzworthy Drama List (March 15 - 21)

It's that time of the week again and it'll never fail to amaze me how The Penthouse 2 reigned this ranking in its entire airing period. We're supposed to be at the last week of this season but a news came to me that the production announced to have an additional episode. So from original 12 episodes, this season 2 will have 13 episodes. 

Song Kang Teaches Park In Hwan Ballet In Navillera Episode 2

After a week of perseverance, Sim Deok Chool (Park In Hwan) managed to pass Lee Chae Rok's (Song Kang) challenge. This episode reminded me that no matter how difficult the situation is, if you put your heart and mind into it, you'll succeed. I'd say not all times, but if nothing's going according to plan then it means you're still not pushing through enough. The perseverance, patience and hardwork, we all need these three in order to move forward and achieve the goal we wanted. Sigh, can someone give me all those three? LOL I'm kidding!

Joseon Exorcist Premiered With An 8.9% Nationwide Viewership Ratings

I was informed late that the first two episodes of Joseon Exorcist would be 19+ so I was really surprised watching the premiere episode. For someone like me who doesn't like the 'zombie' and 'killing-spree' concepts, I was totally flabbergasted with this. lol I did react initially about that on my facebook page. Anyways, I still finished the whole episode though and glad I did because I'm totally hooked! 

Song Kang Was A Graceful Ballet Dancer But Lacks Dedication In Navillera Episode 1

So among the 2 Korean dramas that premiered last night, March 22, it was Song Kang's Navillera that I saw first. To be very honest, I was hesitant to watch it since I don't have a thing for men doing ballets but I was so glad that I watched it in the end coz I was wrong with that misconception of mine. Song Kang as a ballet dancer was such a blessing for my eyes! That visual, those muscles, the sweat, omygod this is a real sight to see! LOL But kidding aside, I took the first episode really great not only because of I'm drowning myself with Song Kang's sexiness but also because the story resonates with me.

Joseon Exorcist's Jang Dong Yoon In Talks To Star In A New KBS Project

Jang Dong Yoon's latest drama Joseon Exorcist is about to premiere only tonight and we already have reports about him in talks with a new project called Oasis. He is indeed a busy man this year 2021! According to his agency, DongYi Company, he received an offer to star in Oasis as a lead character that's set in an 80's/90's, a period filled with people who are living with wrong social values, fierce life and several conflicts. 

Vincenzo Soars To An All Time High Nationwide Viewership Rating With Episode 10

That's what I'm talking about! I may have not been writing a review from the previous episodes of this Kdrama but I still am watching it! Vincenzo finally beats its own nationwide viewership rating record of 11.082% from episode 6 with 11.375% from March 21's episode 10! The growing affection of Vincenzo and Hong Cha Yong for each other probably added to the viewers' interests and the brutality of Babel's real Chairman Jang Jun Woo just makes everything way even more appealing. If we'll look into it, Vincenzo being the mafia's consigliere ain't any less brutal than Jang Jun Woo either. They are of the same feather! Their face-off is what I'm all anticipating in this whole series! 

The Penthouse 2 Almost Broke Their Highest Viewership Rating With Episode 10

I just knew it after watching episode 9 that they viewership rating would soar high with the next episode! Too bad though that episode 10 was only short of .4% in order to beat their episode 6's 26.9% nationwide viewership rating! I guess episode 6 is really that hard to beat especially when it was the climax of everything with Lee Ji Ah coming back as Na Ae Gyo and Bae Ro Na's 'supposed' death. 

Kim So Yeon Cries For Help To Eugene In The Penthouse 2 Episode 10

We are so close now to the ending of this season and we're about to see the sworn enemies Oh Yoon Hee and Kim So Yeon forming an alliance against Joo Dan Tae! I didn't see that coming but hopefully Oh Yoon Hee would consider Kim So Yeon's cry for help. It's all revealed that Joo Dan Tae was the one that really finished Bae Ro Na at the Cheong Ah Festival and it's all thanks to Shim Su Ryeon on that! I got goosebumps at that scene wherein she knew all along that Oh Yoon Hee was listening to them all through wiretapping. Oh well, she's a mastermind of that tactic from season 1 so she knew what's up!

SF9's Rowoon's Newest Project 'Affection' | Another Mr. Queen Concept?

Okay so the recent drama that I've watched of Rowoon was 'She Would Never Know', that was actually my first ever try in watching him act. Before She Would Never Know drama I've only known him because of his collaboration with Red Velvet's Wendy in dubbing for Trolls: World Tour (2020) and everywhere I see since then was him everywhere. I mean, he's a member of an idol group after all and we all know how female fans go wild for them. 

Song Joong Ki Praised Vincenzo Co-Star Jeon Yeo Bin

Some of you may have not known and only discovered Jeon Yeo Bin in Vincenzo but she's been in the K-Ent acting since year 2015. It's true though that she officially aboard the Hallyu Wave by becoming Song Joong Ki's muse in Vincenzo. Vincenzo is basically Jeon Yeo Bin's breakthrough project even though she's an award winning actress herself (Best New Actress for After My Death in the 2020 Daejong Film Awards). Her tactless and free-spirited character as Hong Cha Young contributed in adding a spice of comedy in the series. Lawyers seemed to be smart, competitive, serious and with poise as they battle serious cases and Hong Cha Young is all that except serious and with poise. lol She's definitely breaking through that image of how we usually perceive a lawyer and I like that very much!

The Penthouse 2 Tops Weekly Most Buzzworthy Drama List (March 8 - 14)

Okay, so this really made me excited because I saw Lee Ji Ah taking the top spot of the most buzzworthy cast member for the week of March 8 -14! It has been a while! The Queen is back on her throne as she should be. But let's all be honest, Kim So Yeon is a queen herself and so is Eugene. Those three ruling this ranking, I'll always be proud of as a viewer of The Penthouse.

Park Hosan Confirmed To Be Yoo Jenny's Father In The Penthouse 2

Wow! Who would have thought Jenny's father would be played by a veteran actor like him? Park Hosan is definitely one the gems in Korean Entertainment, he's very talented and convincing with his performances whatever drama you put him in. 

The Penthouse 2 Slightly Drops In Viewership Ratings For Episodes 7 & 8

The Penthouse 2 is, as expected, reigning in its time slot for the 7th and 8th episode last week. However, despite it, we cannot unsee that there was a slight drop in the viewership ratings. Comparing to the episode 6, which was recorded to have gotten the highest viewership rating so far in this season 2, episode 7 and 8 were unable to soar higher nor sustain its peak. At this point, I'm guessing that they will only beat the episode 6 viewership ratings with the finale episode. 

Kim So Yeon Meets Her Worst Enemy In The Penthouse 2 Episode 8

I never thought that Cheon Seo Jin is this weak, she suddenly became a pushover confronting with Joo Dan Tae. She brought this upon herself and created her worst enemy. This 'penthouse' really symbolizes the most powerful one, it houses Joo Dan Tae after all. Slow claps for the writer, this episode lived up to the title! Joo Dan Tae tops all the villains in this drama too! Superb.

The Perfect Ending Happened In Love Alarm 2 (Kim So Hyun, Jung Ga Ram, Song Kang)

So, as all kdrama fans know, Love Alarm 2 came out Friday (March 12, 2021). I just recently became active again in the K-fandom so, I confess that I haven't seen the 1st season when the 2nd came out. But that ain't an excuse to let a Kim So Hyun drama pass once again, right? I don't want to miss out in the Kdrama world again. When I saw the first season having only 8 episodes, I quickly started watching! Like, wow that's not much so I could still catch up! And so there begins my journey in gettibg hooked with Love Alarm!

This news came out in the afternoon of March 10 and a day already passed now and it still feels surreal! Are we alright there fellow Wendyluvs? I know I'm not the only one who still can't believe that WOLO is soon to launch this April! The Ending We All Wanted For Rowoon And Won Jin Ah In She Would Never Know Episode 16

This is it guys, the ending! We've been trough a lot with this kdrama and I honestly got attached with it. The viewership ratings of She Would Never Know in Korea may not be that well, not surpassing 2%, but I really liked this story a lot! Somehow, I could relate to the characters' story especially Yoon Song Ah and Chae Hyun Seung's. The one sided love finally getting reciprocated is one of the most fulfilling event one could experience in their lives. Chae Hyun Seung showed us that sincerity and endless efforts will all one day blossom into a beautiful outcome. The will to never give up on someone that you truly love, that may be foolish for some but chivalrous and romantic for others. Hyun Seung's love for Song Ah was real and powerful that go through against the barriers of one sided love, ending up capturing sunbae's heart. This story is really heartwarming and I feel so proud of Hyun Seung.

Won Jin Ah To Win Back Rowoon In She Would Never Know Episode 15

I completely understood where Hyun Seung was coming from with how he treats Song Ah after the break up. I mean, he has the right to be angry to her for not holding onto him while they were far from each other. But I also understood why Song Ah broke up with him too. Seeing the one you love suffering because of you is also a detestable feeling that most cannot endure, and Song Ah is one of those. 

TOP 5 Most Hated Characters In The Penthouse 2 Chosen By Koreans

When I saw the results of this survey, I instantly thought 'why not him or why not her' took the number 1 spot? But then again, with the recent turn of events in the previous episodes, I realized how right these Koreans were in choosing the most hateable character. 

Vincenzo Rise Back To Two Digits Nationwide Viewership Rating With Episode 6

Vincenzo's latest episode brought them back to attaining two digits nationwide viewership rating as the audience anticipated the face off of Babel/Wusang and Jipaguri. Vincenzo not only gained back a two digits viewership rating with this episode 6 but it's also the highest they have achieved so far in the show with 11.08%.

Vincenzo Falls Back To A One Digit Nationwide Viewership Ratings With Episode 5

Seemed like Vincenzo is failing to maintain a two-digit viewership rating. The previous episode was superb so I was expecting that the viewers would tune in for episode 5 but it turned out the opposite. Although it was only a gradual decrease of rating, this could be sign that Vincenzo has to keep up their game with the twists and turns of each episodes to maintain the viewer's attention to their series. 

The Penthouse 2 Soars To An Even Higher Viewership Ratings With Episode 6

Previous episode already got a 22.4% nationwide viewership rating and I considered that episode to be the most frustrating episode that The Penthouse 2 aired so far. And because of the turn of events that happened in that episode, it attracted more attention to stay tuned for episode 6! Not only that, days before the airing of The Penthouse this week, reports that Lee Ji Ah will finally make a comeback on the show were already published, and considering that she didn't appear on the 5th episode, people anticipated her appearance on episode 6.

We're already halfway through this 2nd season and I think I'm already filled with too many emotions and high stress level. How can I even keep up with the remaining episodes? With today's episode, I feel like I've accepted already that I just cannot put in my trust and expect that this show would give me something that I'll be happy about at all. With this show, I've grown trust issues. Heck, where are we going now with this show's characters slowly dying? The good ones, of all people! Yes, I really am that upset with what happened with Bae Ro Na here. It's only morning and I already lose the energy for the rest of the day. lol

This is already Wendy's 3rd time that the guests of Mysterious Record Shop picked her song recommendation. Our Wendy surely has a great taste in music and is well loved. Jang Yoon Jeong  happily brought up a fact, in episode 7, that all of their guests with daughters that came on the show love Wendy. It's pretty much understandable considering how beautiful of a person Wendy really is. 

The Penthouse 2 Episode 5 Sets New High Nationwide Viewership Ratings

The Penthouse, serving the most frustrating episode so far in the 2nd season, has garnered another milestone in the nationwide viewership ratings. Episode 5 obtained a 24.4% and is considered the highest rating so far for the entire season 2. It's a slight raise from the previous episode which was flat 24% but this is already considered very high in genera. It ranked 1st among the other programs sharing the same time slot. 

The Penthouse Served The Most Frustrating Event So Far In Season 2 With Episode 5

This is so frustrating! Just when Bae Ro Na got fairly recognized with her singing abilities, that's when her life got in danger. Was she dead? I really hope she survives! Seriously, this is so unfair for Oh Yoon Hee's life in general. Why must she go through all of this? Can't the show give her peace and genuine happiness for once? But that's stupid of me to request while we're on a war, right? Reality sucks though. This show is only conveying a message that the rich people always get what they wanted and the poor, yet with real talents, will always be under the rich people's mercy. Sigh. Truth hurts, but The Penthouse 2 surely is impeccable in portraying the devils. 

The Penthouse Star Choi Ye Bin's Bullying Rumors Deleted Online

Seemed like the truth prevailed and it turned out that the accuser was only spreading false information. That person must have been affected too much by Choi Ye Bin's acting as Ha Eun Byeol in The Penthouse that made him/her do such a thing. Viewers should learn how to distinguish reality from fictions. Also, these bullying scandals surrounding South Korea are a serious matter so don't just ride along and accuse the actors/actresses of a fictional character you hate just so you could get other viewers to side you and join you in hating them.

Ji Soo To Be Replaced In The Drama 'River Where The Moon Rises' Amidst Bullying Scandal

Amidst the bullying and alleged sexual assaults reports done by Ji Soo in the past (middle school), KBS announced that they will remove Ji Soo from the on- going drama called River Where The Moon Rises. As of today, they are already looking into 2 actors to replace Ji Soo's character.

The rankings for Most Buzzworthy Drama and Most Buzzworthy Cast Member have been reported already. From the previous report (Feb. 15 - 21), The Penthouse 2 tops the ranking while Song Joong Ki's Vincenzo came in 2nd spot. The Penthouse 2's Kim So Yeon also crowned as Most Buzzworthy Cast Member while Vincenzo's Song Joong Ki came in third. These two new dramas, The Penthouse 2 and Vincenzo are battling close to each other for the number 1 spot and them releasing worth watching episodes every week just made this competition more thrilling. What's worse is, the crimes he did were involving each one of their relatives too. It's crazy!

Making a long distance relationship work, it takes more than just love and trust for each other. It takes a lot of will power too, to endure a lot of uncertainties brought by being away from each other.

I guess The Penthouse already took a toll on me when I cannot distinguish right away what's real. When I saw this news, I honestly mistaken it as a scene from The Penthouse since Ye Bin's character in the drama is a bully, but when I read it, it turned out to be real and something serious. 

Won Jin Ah Chose Between Rowoon And Her Dream In She Would Never Know Episode 13

I took the relationship of Yoon Song Ah and Chae Hyun Seung very challenging from the start despite them displaying sweetness all the time after they got together. It's true that the involvement of Song Ah with Lee Jae Shin was a challenge too but I do believe that the hardest one will be their maturity level. The sunbae-hoobae relationship that developed into lovers, the dreams were already set even before they got together. When Hyun Seung showed up at the last scene to stop sunbae from leaving to Europe, that was such a turn off for me. It clearly shows the difference of their priorities.

I'm so impressed with the latest 2 episodes of Vincenzo! I'm just out of words! 

Like what I've said in my previous blog post, Vincenzo is the guy that we needed in Jipaguri Law Firm in battling against the devils such as Wusang and Babel. I'm so saddened by the death of Cha Yong's father but I wouldn't say that was unexpected. I'd say that if it weren't because of that, we won't be able to see Vincenzo go berserk and move like 'mafia' again. His ideas and fearlessness got me swooned. We all know that Vincenzo only plans to demolish and sweep away all the treasure at Geumga building but he got close to Jipaguri's chairman that trigerred him to fight for him when he got murdered and dishonored by his enemies. And we now also have Hong Chae Yong working in tandem with Vincenzo, to take on Wusang and Babel's wrong doings and get back the Geumga property in Vincenzo's hands.
