Lim Ji Yeon Trends 'Husband's Death Meal' As Viral Menu

Did you know that because of Lim Ji Yeon's performance on this particular scene, she was able to trend the set meal she's eating here and called it 'Husband's Death Meal' by the netizens? Composed of jjajangmyeon, tangsuyuk and fried dumplings, 'Husband's Death Meal' went viral on social media as viewers posted pictures of this meal on their accounts. This is all because Choo Sang Eun (Lim Ji Yeon) convinced the viewers how good this meal combination was just by how she devoured this meal as if it's the tastiest meal on the planet. Indeed her acting performance here became a testament to it. The power of Lim Ji Yeon's mukbang. Lol

This scene was from the 2nd episode of the drama Lies Hidden in My Garden. After the prosecutor interrogated her a bit about the death of her husband Kim Yoon Beom (Choi Jae Rim), Sang Eun immediately went to a restaurant that serves jjajangmyeon. Her mouth watered and craved for it when she saw the some prosecutors eating jjajangmyeon while she was being interrogated at the police station.

Her cravings must be beyond our imagination because despite the death of her husban, she did not waver from eating enthusiastically. Who would blame her though? She finally got out of domestic abuse from her husband! It's indeed time for a full meal as celebration for her freedom.

What about you? Are you interested eating this "Husband's Death Meal" too? Haha!

However, the Husband's death meal caused an issue as well. Some people didn't like it at all as they find the term too provocative and it made them uncomfortable. The issue about gender conflict were also raised once again especially the male population on the internet.

What do you think about this issue?

Kim Tae Hee Works With Lim Ji Yeon To Discover The Truth In Lies Hidden In My Garden

For a mentally weak person like Jooran, I think it'll be so hard to find out the truth especially when she's dealing with psychotic people like her husband Park Jae Ho and Chu Sang Eun. Determining who's telling the truth between them would be a challenge.

Joo Ran teaming up with Sang Eun to dig through the lies of her husband, she's basically putting herself in danger. But I think she really needed to take this risk in order to live peacefully. I mean, I wouldn't be at peace as well if I encounter people and events that tell me that my husband is a murderer as well.

Speaking of husband, Joo Ran's husband Park Jae Ho is so wicked! I know that these husbands being overly kind to their wives are suspicious AF! Just look at him! He's an effin' criminal and he's been lying to his wife over and over again. Now we all know that the corpse in their garden was his victim Lee Soo Min. And the reason why the smell was gone in their household was because during that rainy night that he went out, he took care of it and probably dump the body somewhere else. Geez, criminals like him should rot in hell! Scary AF!
Meanwhile Chu Sang Eun, despite her husband Kim Yoon Beom gone, the domestic abuse he did to her caused her trauma and will forever haunt her. That scene where she's with the father of Soo Min, she was so pitiful. This is why domestic violence should stop and that we should report to the police as soon as the first attack was made. We should not tolerate violence because it's hell on earth.

Taecyeon Saves Won Ji An From Danger In Heartbeat Episode 2

Goosebumps! Goosebumps everywhere! I'm so in love with this Kdrama. There are a lot of on-going romcom dramas right now but after seeing the 1st 2 episodes of this drama Heartbeat, I think I can confidently say that this one is my favorite! There are just no boring moments, I swear! The whole episode is packed with well written scripts, all jokes intended were hilarious and the connections between characters were superb! To be honest, watching a romcom drama wherein there's no dull moments are quite hard for me to find. I just really have this high standard when it comes to romcoms but thankfully this Heartbeat was created! I'm so happy!

Episode 2, it turned out that Joon In Hae (Won Ji An) is not your ordinary woman. Based on the 1000 year old cat, no normal human being could be able to open a vampire's coffin and so he concluded that In Hae must be protected by Sun Woo Hyeol (Taecyeon) at all cost because she may be holding the key for him to be successfully turn into a human.

The bite to Woo Hyeol's neck by In Hae became a connection between the two as Woo Hyeol was able to sense In Hae being in danger because of the bite mark. In Hae saw her ex-landlord/ scammer and ran after him to get her money back. However, when they got into an alley, the scammer was about to attack In Hae but thankfully Woo Hyeol entered the scene and saved the night! As expected of my beautiful vampire. Gosh he's so effin' cool!

While Woo Hyeol battles the scammer, In Hae witnessed the super powers of Woo Hyeol and finally believed that he's really a vampire. Yay! I'm so excited for the next episode!

Taecyeon Is A HOT Vampire In Heartbeat Episode 1

I think I found yet another good on-going Kdrama! Gosh! There's so many Kdramas airing right now! Good luck to all of us, I hope we're still going to get some sleep. Anyways, the one that I'm talking about is Heartbeat starring Taecyeon and Won Ji An. It really has a good and interesting start! I'm not joking!

So in this story, Sun Woo Hyeol is an immortal, a vampire to be specific. After losing his beloved Yoon Hae Sun, he swore that they will love each other the next time they meet. And in order to do that, Sun Woo Hyeol needed to become a human for his heart to beat and feel what it's like to be fully in love.

Fast forward, Woo Hyeol met a 1000 years old cat and taught him how he'll become a human. There, he found out that he needs to sleep in a certain type of coffin for 100 years. The twist in here is that this certain coffin meant death for vampires like him. However, the cat explained that in order for him to live, he first needed to die. And that's what Woo Hyeol did. Unfortunately, Woo Hyeol was awaken on the 900th year and 99th days which made him become a half-human and half-vampire. Can you imagine his agony? LOL His long-awaited event of becoming a full pledge human didn't work out just because he didn't reach the 100th year goal. Only a day discrepancy! Poor Woo Hyeol!

Seriously, this drama is so funny and cute at the same time. Taecyeon's face is a scenery to look at! Being a vampire in a well tailored suit fits Taecyeon so much because of his body fit and beautiful facial features. I love him during Vincenzo because of his fierceness and now to be able to see him in a fantasy romcom type of drama, it'll be my pleasure to wait for new episodes each week! Some characters from Vincenzo are here too and they bring so much comedy into the show.

Lim Ji Yeon Proceeds Blackmailing Kim Sung Oh In Lies Hidden in My Garden Episode 3

This drama is crazy! Wow! Okay, I think that it's clear that Chu Sang Eun (Lim Ji Yeon) is the one that murdered Kim Yoon Beom (Choi Jae Rim), right? The black and white scene where Sang Eun was with Yoon Beom inside the car, Yoon Beom was unconscious. I find it hard to believe that he's just sleeping because why in the middle of the road while he's on the driver's seat? Remember the scene wherein Sang Eun bought drinks for them from the previous episode? Have you noticed that Sang Eun kept on looking at the drink? Maybe she put something in there for Yoon Beom to lost consciousness. Might be it, right? But anyways, going back to the black and white scene flashback, Sang Eun took over the driver's seat and when the car started, Yoon Beom was nowhere to be found in the car already.

There was a theory before episode 3 came out, that it was really Chu Sang Eun who's the murderer of her own husband and that she's only blackmailing Park Jae Ho in order for him to turn out to be the prime suspect on the case. That's sick, right?! Chu Sang Eun is turning out to be a mad woman! I did pity her before when she was a victim of domestic abuse, that won't change. But right now, I'm building up this rage towards her because of how she's behaving! Crazy!

Now let's go to Park Jae Ho (Kim Sung Oh). Geez, he's so scary! I mean, I would never want in my life to encounter a gas lighter like him and worst even become a part of my family. Seriously, the way he turn things upside down in order for him to win an argument is scary AF! He's making his wife look like she's mentally ill when she might not be anymore. How can she even recover with such a man in the household?! These were the events that happened in this episode that made me really think that he's a bad guy and that he's nothing but a manipulator.

1. When the police came to investigate more of Yoon Beom's murder case and brought up about the 100 million won transaction between him and Yoon Beom, Park Jae Ho was caught lying right away when he said it was a compensation for the rebate that happened in their company. The police instantly told him if everything was solved with money why another employee got fired? Hmmmmm... what a quick witted detective.

2. Jooran asked to see the CCTV footage in front of their neighbor Oh Hae Soo's house. Then the next thing that Park Jae Ho did was to scare Jooran with Oh Hae Soo's past life wherein she killed her husband. He told her not to get in touch with her because she's a crazy woman. Gosh, he's becoming more and more obvious!

3. The worst for today's episode. The earring scene! My goodness, he was trying to put a different kind of reality in her mind. He saw the earring in their shared wardrobe so it meant that Joo Ran was lying about losing it in their car. But what did he do? In order for him to get away from Joo Ran's suspicions of him, he wanted Joo Ran's lies to become a reality. It's as if telling her, I believe your lies so believe mine as well.. As if telling her that they should live that way where truth is hidden between them. Gosh! I want to punch his face! And the way he turned this argument into him being the victim. Raaaah! I hate him!

Ahn Bo Hyun Is Unable To Let Go Of His Past In See You In My 19th Life Episode 4

It was during Ban Ji Eum's 3rd life that she got the ability to remember her past. It's also the era wherein she learned that it's not a good idea to tell anyone about her secret of reincarnation. Because the pain she felt when she was pushed away by her own mother from her 2nd life became a traumatic experience for her. I cannot to blame her 2nd life mother though, I mean, her child was a girl and this kid claiming to be her child was a boy. Aside from that fact, it's not easy to believe supernatural things like reincarnation at all. If there is anyone, he or she would be that 1 out of a million people to believe such things. Luckily though, Ae Gyeong was that 1!

Maybe this is also one of the reasons why Ji Eum cannot confess to Mun Seo Ha that she's Joo Won. It's one of her fears that Mun Seo Ha would push him away when all she ever wanted was to stay by her side all the time. I think she's really serious when she said that she wanted Mun Seo Ha to remember her in this lifetime only as Ban Ji Eum and not Joo Won. And you know what? I also wanted the same thing. After witnessing Seo Ha still stuck in the past, I wanted to see him grow as a person. Him learning to let go and finally move on. I want him to let go of the possibility that Joo Won would get reincarnated to be back to his side because only then, I will be relieved if ever Ji Eum will lost her ability to reincarnate in the future. I mean, just imagine how Seo Ha would be like in the future if now he still cannot move on?

Everytime Seo Ha sees little Joo Won in a grown up woman Ji Eum, can't help but cringe. lol I feel like I'm seeing a pedophile. hahaha! I'm kidding! It would be nice if Seo Ha accepts Ji Eum as she is without thinking of the little Joo Won, you know. Imagine being in a relationship and the one you see in your partner is a young child while you're a grown man? That's gross!

On the other hand, new characters are coming out! That male new character, he's the actor from Crash Course In Romance and I heard that he's already creating a buzz on the internet even though he hasn't come out from the previous episode of See You In My 19th Life.. Hmmm.. might as well I look into it later. Anyways, his character and the female one, I think they know Ji Eum's reincarnation thingy. I wonder what role they will serve in her life.

Junho Fell Hard On Yoona's Charms In King the Land Episode 4

I'm not commenting about it before but as time passes by, this half sister of Gu Won irks me so much. I'm just disregarding her rudeness to Gu Won before because she's the one who hired Sa Rang. But the more I watch her true colors coming out, I can't help but finally call her out. Sigh, poor Gu Won. I wonder what happened inside their family. Gu Won seemed to be the one oppressed here.

Anyways, King the Land is crawling up to my favorite rom-com drama right now. I am so happy that new flavors are blooming in the story. Gu Won's family concerns, Sa Rang's love life, Sa Rang's friends and Gu Won's adventure in pursuing Sa Rang! Speaking of which, Gu Won being crazy in love with Sa Rang, his behaviour changing positively was just so adorable to watch! The scene where Gu Won got caught by the police on the road was hilarious! Instead of giving him a ticket for a violation, he gave him love advices which our cute and adorable Gu Won took by the heart. The police even earned Gu Won's respect and even did a 90deg bow from him. Hahaha!

On the other hand, let's talk about Sa Rang's ex boyfriend. Seriously, how can he be so dumb? Sa Rang was already telling him straight and clear that she doesn't want to be with him anymore because he doesn't give her importance during their relationship! Despite Sa Rang's sadness and rage, he was still behaving like his usual setting aside her feelings and focus on his. He could be everyone's boyfriend now for all I care, I just want him out of Sa Rang's life. He doesn't deserve her at all.

Junho Crushing On Yoona And Experiencing Heartbreak In King the Land Episode 3

Gu Won acting all high and mighty during the live broadcast surely irritated me. Lol I know that he's going through something but his attitude and rudeness got into me already. Thankfully, he managed to save his ass from my hatred after the boat's captain scammed them. Wait, that sounds so wrong but anyways they finally had some time alone together which made them get to know each other.

It's always thanks to the alcohol that makes one vulgar with their feelings. Let's say it's the alcohol that's talking but it seemed like Gu Won caught some feelings towards Sa Rang. After finally understanding why Sa Rang behaved the way she is, Gu Won had always been staring at her. Even when he got back in his office, all he ever did was look into the photos that were taken during their trip. The scene where he's in awe looking at the photo of a smiling Sarang made me melt. It was so adorable and cute!

But what made me really laugh out loud in this episode was when the photoshopped version of Gu Won's photos were revealed. Hahaha! It was so funny!

Sa Rang finally became an employee at King Hotel and Gu Won got a glimpse of her after resolving his feelings for her. At first he was all shy because he indeed found out that he's crushing on her. He wanted to approach her with some macarons and when he's about to call her Sa Rang's ex-boyfriend came out of nowhere and embraced her. WTF! Wait, is he now an ex-boyfriend or not? I hope that they're thru because that man ain't good at treating his girlfriend the way she should be treated. Ugh.

Anyways, I hope this would be cleared in the next episode but upon checking the preview it seems like Gu Won would go after Sa Rang which means this hindrance of Sarang's ex/boyfriend got resolved right?! Yay!

Ahn Bo Hyun Witnesses Shin Hye Sun's Sadness In See You in My 19th Life Episode 3

Seems like we're all relieved to know that Yoon Cho Won's first love is not Mun Seo Ha. Whew! Ban Ji Eum herself was fooled as well but thankfully she does not need to compete with her younger sister from her 18th life to this lifetime. Yoon Cho Won x Ha Do Yoon, I'm seated! They both are so cute especially that umbrella scene when they were younger.

Ban Ji Eum kept on saying that in her past life, her focus was only on her own pain then the flashback of her living as Ae Gyeong's uncle that was sick showcases this. But when she got reborn too soon, just 3 days after Yoon Ju Won died, she got to witness that this is not the case in her 19th life. She got to see how the people from her 18th life long for her. She got to hear how her own sister was fond of her,  how her mother and Seo Ha suffered because of missing her. Truthfully, I honestly thought that the scene where Ji Eum was hugging her mother was real. I was a crying mess but it turned out to be just an illusion. If it weren't Mun Seo Ha's entering that sad scene, we wouldn't know that it was all Ji Eum's imagination. Ugh, I really felt her sadness at that! Huhu Her 18th life really impacted a lot of people and it was a first time for Ji Eum witnessed that. Maybe it's one of the reasons that she got reincarnated soon, for her to see that her previous lives matter to other people who got acquainted with her even though she herself didn't think too much about it. Maybe it's for her to learn that her past lives weren't insignificant at all.

Ban Ji Eum, Mun Seo Ha and the others are all struggling in loneliness and longing of their past up to this date. I know it's easier said than done but they all need to carry on with their lives and find happiness with each other in the present. Sometimes we really just need to be not so hard on ourselves and look at the brighter side of life. Maybe only then, we'll be able to find a chance for us to be happy.

Battle For Happiness Kdrama Exposes The Sad Truth Behind Obsession To Social Media | Episodes 1 - 3 Quick Recap

I found yet another intriguing on-going Kdrama yesterday and it's called Battle for Happiness. There's actually 8 episodes out now as of writing this blog post, I'm catching up with it and I'm now done with 3 episodes. Guess what? I think I like it and am gonna continue watching it.

This drama showcases the modern life today, how people became dependent on showing-off their 'good life' on social media when in exchange of likes and large following but in reality they're lonely and depressed. Oh Yoo Jin (Park Hyo Joo) is a housewife with 2 kids and is surrounded by luxuries. She runs and IG account with 17k followers and shares a different kind of reality of her life to her followers. She's so addicted with her 'good' image to the public that she's willing to do anything in order to look like she's above others especially to her friends who are also active on social media. She's a fake and crazy AF kind of woman. Her obsession even made her gather dirty secrets of her 'friends' in case they take the spotlight from her to the public. This mentality eventually gained her lots of enemies that led to her murder case.

Jang Mi Ho (Lee El) on the other hand is a bank employee and happened to be connected with Oh Yoo Jin. I thought before that they were some kind of lovers (lol) but it turned out that they were once a family. They're actually became sisters when their parents remarried. But this sisterhood got broken when their parents divorced but not legally. I don't know exactly yet what's making Oh Yoo Jin so scared of meeting her again. Was she just afraid that the public will know about her family background? What's so shameful about it though? But I think there's more into it. There seems to be some kind of feud/physicality that happened between the two of them which is for me to find out in the next episodes.

Anyways, this drama gives off The Penthouse vibe but not exactly the same. I'm curious who's the suspect behind Oh Yoo Jin's death and what will happen to the other mothers who are also obessed with showing off on social media. I want to know their dirty secrets. Kkkk

Kim Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon's Lives Intertwined Because of their Mysterious Bad Husbands | Lies Hidden in My Garden Episodes 1 & 2 Quick Recap

I really like dark thriller dramas like Anna and now there's a new ENA drama that's centered to this theme called Lies Hidden in my Garden starring Kim Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon. This is about Moon Ju Ran (Kim Tae Hee) being mentally unstable since the day she found her sister dead in her apartment room while Chu Sang Eun (Lim Ji Yeon) is a battered housewife. Both of them were living on a different social status going through different bad situations in their own lives. Their fate would meet one day because of their suspicious bad husbands.

After watching the first episode, I just know that there really is something mysterious about Joo Ran's husband, and it's a bad feeling really. He's acting suspiciously kind to his wife to the point that it felt like he's only gaslighting her. He's totally not making Joo Ran's mental health improve at all. Whenever Joo Ran is suspicious about something especially that corpse she found and smelled in their garden, he just ignores it and planted a different kind of reality in Joo Ran's mind. Always telling her that she's only seeing things because her mental state is worsening. Damn, it's making me so angry.

Speaking of angry, I'm even more angry to Sang Eun's husband. WTF! How can a man like that be able to beat his own pregnant wife? But what's really alarming here is that Sang Eun just make it look like everything's endurable for quite some time. Though I think she had enough and I have strong gut feeling that she's the suspect in killing her husband and not Park Jae Ho (Kim Sung Oh). Kim Yoon Beom (Choi Jae Rim) deserves to die, he's a wild animal after all. But it would have been better if he just learned his lessons by going to jail and regret his wrong doings. In that way, we could be even more satisfied seeing him having a difficult time for his wrong doings than him being dead quickly like that. lol I like seeing punished.

Anyways, this drama is really interesting and I wanted to know more about it. If you're planning in watching this drama I suggest that you do that during daylight because dang, it has full of surprises. I mean literal surprises that would make you jolt in shock. lol

See You in My 10th Life And King the Land Weekend Dramas Get Off To A Strong Start!

The two new weekend Kdramas See You in My 19th Life and King the Land started off strong with their respective nationwide viewership ratings. See You in My 19th Life garnered 4.27% on its first episode while King the Land has 5.08%. Their 2nd episode tops their first episodes too telling us all how well received their pilot episode became. See You in My 19th Life had 5.49% on its 2nd episode while King the Land has 7.54% nationwide viewership ratings.

King the Land airs 10:30pm KST every Saturday-Sunday on JTBC while See You in My 19th Life airs 9:10pm KST on tvN. They are of different time slots, thank goodness but competition on which weekend drama is the strongest will still remain for the two. As of now, King the Land is more well received by the viewers judging by their ratings.

However, if I'll pick between the two, I think I prefer See You in My 19th Life more than King the Land. Maybe because it has less predictability on how the story would unfold. I find the plot of See You in My 19th Life more interesting since we're looking at fantasy where it requires us to be curious behind the mystery of reincarnation. They are both set-up in the modern world but SYM19L flashback brings us to different eras which is much more interesting. But hey, we're still at episode 2 so my preference might change as more episodes of each dramas comes out. Let's stay tuned!

Junho Caught In A Trance By Yoona In King the Land Episode 2

King the Land has the usual Kdrama trope of employer x employee/enemies to lover but I can't help but stay with it just because there is so much visual delicacies being served by the two main protagonists. Junho, despite wearing different type of suits repeatedly, still looked handsome and fresh whenever he goes out while Yoona and her smile makes the whole series brighter than daylight. I know I should be focusing on the plot but I can't help it with these two, god and goddess of beauty. Well, maybe I'm still satisfied now because aside from what I've mentioned, they really have good acting skills as well. These two are well known as 2nd generation idols but they've also been into different hit dramas separately as well. So basically, they know what they are doing now with their acting so it's really easy to watch them.

Anyways, Episode 2, Sa Rang will work closer to Gu Won in handling events for the King Hotel and their first mission together was to make the interview broadcast/getaway be successful. Soon, their hearts will beat for each other as they spend time together. The first sign of falling in love is becoming obvious now which is getting caught in a trance by the other. What's really interesting here is that, we got 2 versions of this in only 1 episode. The version of Gu Won caught in a trance by Sa Rang and vice versa. Hahaha! The predictability of this drama is slowly crawling on the surface but hopefully there are added flavors to the drama so I won't drop this along the way.

I think this drama also possesses side characters that have potential to make it more interesting. I'm eyeing Sang Sik (Gu Won's secretary) and Su Mi (Sa Rang's manager) love story. Haha! This one is hilarious AF! Also we have Sa Rang's friends to entertain us as well. I hope the story would flow flawlessly. Pretty please!
