Yesterday, Lee Ji Eun or most popularly known as IU released a new song called Celebrity. The release of this new single was announced by her agency, EDAM Entertainment, via press release last January 11 and yesterday was the promised date!
As expected of IU, her new song Celebrity tops different charts and even became the fastest song to reach no. 1 on Melon 24Hits with a record of 3 hours breaking SSAK3's Summer Sea Again record of 18 hours.
Celebrity song has a bright and cheerful pop sound which is timely with the trend nowadays. Not only it topped Melon 24Hits in 3 hours but also other real time charts such as FLO, BUGS and Genie.
Kim So Yeon's superb acting performance is no longer a shocking news to all of us as we know how legendary her acting portfolio already is. This award winning actress (Daesang awardee from Korea Drama Awards in 2016) is already considered a living legend when it comes to her acting skills. Just recently, the news about Kim So Yeon's scene from The Penthouse: War in Life got selected by the scriptwriter as the most memorable scene for her. She mentioned that the ending scene in episode 15 where Cheon Seo Jin abandoned her father in a rainy night and directly played the piano at Hera Palace was one of the best scenes of the whole series (season 1).
I really thought this episode was the saddest so far in the whole series, but it's all okay in the end because not only Lee Suho cheered up Lim Jookyung, he also did the same with the viewers. I feel like I'm being comforted as well while watching Suho cheering up a sad Jookyung. That 'squirrel' song got me! Suho really is the cutest boyfriend. But since Moon Ga Young is a wise person and wanted to maintain good relationships, she explained in the video that her choice would be based on the person who's the easiest to get upset among his leading men. Recently, TVXQ's Yunho came back with his 2nd mini-album called NOIR last January 18 with a title track called Thank U. This track is a dramatic pop dance song that tackles about criticisms and improving oneself. The music video is very cinematic but it was rated as 19+ for consisting inappropriate scenes for children. It was a movie like experience watching that music video for me, really a masterpiece!

Yeo Jin Goo's upcoming drama Beyond Evil/ Monster will premiere this February 19 on JTBC at 11pm KST. Jin Goo will play a transferred detective at Manyang substation and will be partnered with Shin Ha Kyun. The two will work together to solve a murder case that is the same to what took place 20 years ago.
Beyond Evil is the official English title of the drama while Monster is the literal translation of the Korean Title. It will have 16 episodes and is expected to end on April 10 of this year.
It's my first time to watch a drama of SF9's Rowoon but he has my eyes since I've seen him on Trolls World Tour presscon with Red Velvet. Yes, I found out about him because of that. He did the voice of Branch in the Korean dub of that animated film, while Wendy of Red Velvet dubbed Poppy's. I love Red Velvet and now I'm loving Rowoon as I get to watch his latest drama entitled She Would Never Know.

This episode got me bawling for real. Somehow I could really feel the pain that Suho has been carrying. We all know that Koreans add one year to their actual age, right? Why? It's because they consider the time they were in their mothers' womb equivalent to one year even though it's only 9 months. So by the time they got born to the world, they are considered already as one year old. Also, what's unusual for us international fans is that, Koreans automatically add 1 year to their age when New Year's day (January 1) comes and not on their actual birthday. That's the reason why they are always 1 year ahead in counting their age. Anyways, that's only just a fun fact in case you still don't know yet.
It was reported today that Moon Ga Young is in talks for the female lead role in an upcoming romantic fantasy drama called 'Link' (not yet official title). In the recent news too, Kim Seon Ho was already known to be in talks for the said drama as the main male lead. Kim Seon Ho and Moon Ga Young first worked as a couple on the 2019 TV show called Welcome to Waikiki 2. But the other person I hated the most in this episode is Soojin. Man, that girl is on fire and got two faces. I think it's the start of her becoming a villain to our Suho x Jookyung couple. How could she even do that to her friend? She knew that the two were in a relationship already and yet she feigned ignorance over it just to get what she wanted. To bad for you girl, Suho's heart is fully captivated by Jookyung. It's true that I pity her character before but she's becoming too much now.
I know that she's one of the characters in the drama that you have hated so much. Her crazy and mocking face just instantly make your blood boil the moment she appears on your television/phone/or laptop's screen. At times like that you'll just nod and affirm that she truly is a daughter of the evil witch Cheon Seojin. Do not worry, because you're not alone in feeling that way.
