Go Kyung Pyo and Kang Han Admit to Being in a Relationship In Frankly Speaking Episode 10

That final scene with Ki Baek's family going on a trip but ended up in a car accident, I found that so unexpected tbh. But I guess that's the only way the writer could think of in making the family closer together. Let's face it Ki Baek's family is so awkward with one another, they don't share a bond like how the usual families are with each other. Even though Ki Baek got a job and some matters were resolved, they still feel so awkward. Nothing could break this awkwardness without something unfortunate to happen to their family to shake them awake and become closer with one another. And it's sad that it's done this way, but that's just how life is. If you can't change something by ordinary ways, the universe will conspire for something eye-opening to happen and that accident was it for Ki Baek's family. Sheesh. I hope after the car accident, the family would become united.

Anyways, in the previous episode, Wooju and Ki Baek's problem was about their relationship going public amidst the popularity of Couple's Paradise. It was all revealed by the evil witch Cho Hui but eventually got proven that she's only lying about Wooju and Ki Baek being in a relationship before the show commenced and about Wooju blackmailing the other girl. It was all lies and thanks to Wooju and her assistant writer for finding evidence to that. Now I am waiting for Choi Hui's loser face to publicly apologize to everyone for being such a lying btch. hahaha!

The best part of that conference was that Ki Baek and Wooju did not deny about their relationship though. I love it.

If I'm asked about how is it watching Frankly Speaking, I'd be lying if I said that I didn't get bored and frustrated with it at all. The drama started so well as it talk about relatable scenarios of life such as losing a job then getting back up again, family issues and more. Then it all made us amused watching Ki Baek's bluntness after getting electrocuted but the show instantly got boring when the it spent so many episodes centering only on the relationship between Wooju and Ki Baek and the factors I've mentioned that got us hooked were pushed back and forgotten. Hmmm... the 'frankly speaking' concept got washed out as well. It honestly got so much potential but the writing sucks a little bit tbh. But now that everything went well with the relationship between Ki Baek and his switch Wooju, the story is finally stirring back to the original flow and main issues. FINALLY!

Go Kyung Pyo and Kang Han Na's Relationship Got Revealed in Frankly Speaking Episode 9

I find Wooju's mom's story in this episode to be so moving. She wanted to take away her life but when she met Wooju, she found purpose to live again. Isn't it beautiful?

Wooju's biological mom frequents the salon of wooju's current mom. At first I thought she was only passing time/buying time at the salon so she wouldn't be back home. I thought she was a battered wife with the mark on her hand but it turned out to be just a birthmark and not injuries from getting hit by her husband at home. Hmmm... what in the world is her motive now by showing up? It can't be because of Wooju's popularity, right? Because if it is then she's quite the same 'user' like Cho Hui to Ki Baek.

Speaking of that bitch Cho Hui, ugh, I hate her so much! She was using Ki Baek to promote her bakery. She was mentioning Ki Baek multiple times on her live but her fans caught up that they didn't have special relationship or are close at all. Obviously she's the one who opened up the issue about Ki Baek and Wooju on the internet.

But now that everything's out in the open with Ki Baek and Wooju's relationship, I think it's better to just admit the truth. I mean at this point, who cares what happen anymore with Couple's Paradise show? Wooju ain't part of it anymore and Cho Hui would finally be able to stop leeching off of Ki Baek's popularity. It's a win-win situation tbh. Wooju can still return to writing and Ki Baek can just do whatever he can just like the old times. If his fans are genuine in following him then there's nothing to be afraid of because they will follow him through it all, it's not like he had committed a crime after all. And I bet there will be Wooju and Ki Baek fans who are shipping them too! Who knows?

Jang Ki Yong Turned Out to be Chun Woo Hee's Saviour In The Atypical Family Episode 8

With episode 8, I think it's clearer now what's happening and what timeline we're all looking at. Bok mom's power is precognitive vision through her dreams and from the very first episode of this series, she had been vocal about dreaming of Da Hae wearing the Bok family's ring and it was Gwiju who gave that ring to Da Hae. Now let's simplify and connect the dots:

Bok mom- dreams- FUTURE

Gwiju- time travel- PAST (Da Hae's future)

It just meant that both Bok mom and Gwiju's powers are all related to Da Hae's past and it'll soon become their future. In the PRESENT time, there exists 2 rings, which is originally only 1 ring. I assume that it was Gwiju's clear sign that he's the one who will save Da Hae in the past during the fire incident to do not cease existence in the present. It's actually pretty cool if you think about it.

But what I still don't understand in this whole thing is that, what is the story trying to achieve?

1. To cure the modern problem that made Gwiju's powers disappear? (depression)

2. To save Gwiju's senior colleague from dying? Is there really a possibility to change this when he's already burried?

3. To save Da Hae to correct all of their timeline again. (gwiju, mom and da hae)

I think it's 1 and 3. I'm not yet convinced that Gwiju's gonna alter the past with senior colleague coming back to life in the present.

WAAAAH I need more episodes to clear the cloud in my mind! kkk

How about you?? What are your assumptions/theories about what's going on with The Atypical Family?

Byeon Woo Seok Successfully Proposes to Kim Hye Yoon In Lovely Runner Episode 16

That ending was so good! Sol and Sun Jae revolves entirely in the past and present time but with that one kiss, after the marriage proposal, they foresee the future together. It's definitely going to be happily ever after for the both of them together. Endings like this is really satisfying, after the long run of the story which is filled with difficulties and dramas, it ends with a reward of happiness. Ain't it beautiful? Better ending than Queen of Tears tbh. hahaha! I'm so sorry for always bringing up QoT with my every post about Lovely Runner, I just couldn't help comparing the two of them. Maybe because I haven't moved on from getting scxammed of the QoT series. Yes, I felt so disappointed with the ending that it made me question whether my time was wasted or not watching it. I was so hyped for the 1-14 episodes because they were absolutely my style only to end up in such a bad written finale. Sigh... I think the last time I felt so disappointed like this in a Kdrama ending was Doctor Cha. This is why I am so happy with Lovely Runner because it has a well written ending and definitely it was all worthwhile watching the whole run of the show. It deserved the hype! Congratulations to the whole cast and production of Lovely Runner! It was an unexpected success/hit drama for them after all.

Read more about Doctor Cha ending here: Uhm Jung Hwa Rejected Min Woo Hyuk In Doctor Cha Episode 16

Anyways, since it'll be the last time I'll talk about the episodes of Lovely Runner here in the blog, I'm gonna appreciate Tae Sung's character here more. I've been thinking about Tae Sung's purpose in the early part of the show, I'm convinced that he won't become another Seojun (True Beauty) as a 2nd male lead because he's nowhere to be found at crucial moments of Sol at all. And there at the last part of the story, he became the hero catching Kim Young Soo who's been the main problem/root cause why Sol and Sun Jae repeat having the same unfortunate fate. But it all ended because of him, even Sun Jae's aware of it that's why he was so thankful for him despite their childish rivalry. hahahaha! Even though he became the hero, he still didn't get the girl though. hahahah! Anyways, he instantly became an unforgettable character because when you think about SolJae now, there's Tae Sung the 2nd male lead who saved both of them that's why they lived a happily ever after. The End.

Now, would I recommend this drama?! Definitely YES! Although I've had struggles sticking with it in the early episodes of the series, it definitely was worth staying because 2nd half of the show was a blast!!!

Byeon Woo Seok Remembered Kim Hye Yoon in Every Timeline in Lovely Runner Episode 15

Wow, this episode 15 really brought me to tears. That trip down to memory lane of Sun Jae really pulled my heartstrings, it really made me think that they've been through and sacrificed a lot for each other. The time travel and how they protect each other in their own ways were real proof of how much they love each other and it's so wonderful to watch a love story like this. This is only my opinion but this drama Lovely Runner really exceeds the story telling of true love between two people. I know there's no need to compare it to anything but I feel like there's a need to say this, Lovely Runner is better than Queen of Tears on this regard in my opinion. Story telling, although really confusing at times, Lovely Runner felt like it's telling the greatest love story of all time when you actually watch it and not think of anything else. Episode 15 connects everything from their past to the present and I love it so much. No need to get hit by a car and survive it like supernatural being on the 15th episode just to call the man the greenest flag of all/risk taker for the love of his life. lol Sun Jae exceeds that just by staying Sol's side and protects her from the very beginning till the end. Sigh... oh to have Sun Jae in one's life is just a huge blessing! I hope we can have our own version of that in our lives.

The purpose of the 2nd lead, Tae Sung, in the story of Sol and Sun Jae became clear too. The way he became the police in charge of the taxi driver case was really on point. It's not just a mere love triangle that we're all used to witness, it's a love triangle that serves a purpose and that's to help out in chasing and catching the main problem of Sun Jae and Sol since day 1. I find it really nice how Tae Sung was the son of the previous police in charge of this case. It's like, "leave it to me, pops. I'll take it from here" kind of thing and it made Tae Sung's character even more cool to me! Waaaah!

Anyways, last episode tonight!!! I'm excited for this because upon seeing the preview for the next episode, it feels like we're definitely going to have a happy ending! WAAAAH DESEEEERRVVEEE!!!

Choi Woo Sung Gained 25kg for Chief Detective 1958 and Roy Gained 30kg for The Atypical Family

We all know that Choi Woo Sung was part of a successful and recently completed drama Chief Detective 1958 as he portrayed perfectly his role as the strong guy Choi Gyeong Hwan. His character there first worked in Jongnam market as a rice porter but later on discovered by Lee Je Hoon's character Park Yeonghan as he fights Dongdaemun gang. After Yeonghan witnessed the amazing strength and sense of justice that Gyeong Hwan possessed, he convinced him to be part of Jongnam police. His character there really is reliable and helped so much in solving cases with Lee Je Hoon.

Here's the twist though. I know Woo Sung first when I saw him in My Roommate is a Gumiho, the brother of Hyeri's character. I've seen his built to be really huge because of muscles but not of fat. In Chief Detective 1958, however, it's obvious that he has put on weights. I've found out that he intentionally gained weight for the purpose of portraying this role. He made an effort of gaining 25kg and even attended action school in preparation for this role of Choi Gyeong Hwan.

On the other hand, the hidden oppa in the character of Hyeong Tae in the on-going drama The Atypical Family, also underwent the similar experience of putting on weight for a certain role. Choi Kwang Rok or mostly known as Roy gained a 30kg to transform into the character of Noh Hyeong Tae.

Talk about dedication, huh?! They are both amazing to be willing to undergo transformation like that. Gaining and definitely losing weight is a difficult task that any of us could relate. Therefore, it's really amazing that they did this.

Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon's Fate Keeps Repeating, Will there be a Chance for A Happy Ending? | Lovely Runner Episode 14

This is so confusing, I thought that they managed to capture Kim Young Soo in the past? There were no news that he got away from the police or so, that's why I thought that Sol and Sunjae will finally have a chance at love this time around. But then again, why wouldn't Sol want to be with Sun Jae if that's the case? Then that explains why Young Soo was still out there in the present. Sigh... We're honestly going circles since the early episodes until the finale, if it weren't for the chemistry between the 2 leads, I don't think this would get hyped at all.

Anyways, Sun Jae having the 'Hong Hae In syndrome' wherein his heart somehow recognizes Im Sol. lol He's having deja vu, dreams about his past lifetime, all these experiences were because of Sol's story about a woman who turned back time 15 years ago to save the man she loves. Yes, this is Lovely Runner, you honor. kkk

Only 2 episodes left for this drama, if Sun Jae died in the finale, it would feel like the whole series became pointless. lol I mean, we're all made a fool for watching a woman return 4 times in the past (3 chances from her watch from Sunjae auction + Sun Jae's watch in ep 13) if Sun Jae still die in the present. The story wasn't that deep tbh, since we've been circling around with no changes at all, it just basically proved how much Sun Jae and Sol love each other. That's basically what this love story is all about and we're all hooked because of that.

Kim Hye Yoon Was Fated to Meet Byeon Woo Seok Again in Lovely Runner Episode 13

This drama is just way too good. I love how this drama is really mixing the comedy and angst together even up to the 13-14 episode. In my previous experience with romcoms, when it comes to episodes 13-16, the story inclines more on the heavy drama because all the light and comedy scenes were overused in the early episodes. But in Lovely Runner, everything was balanced and that's why I find it really so good! This is almost like a perfect kdrama tbh, the storyline progresses so interestingly and the main leads were more than enough to get us all hooked. Their chemistry is over the roof!

Anyways let's talk about episode 13! After all the efforts that Sol did, Sun Jae still ended up dead in the hands of Kim Young Soo. Sigh. Never ending saga, this is probably the fate of Sun Jae when there is Sol in his life. That is why, when Sun Jae's wrist watch activated the 3 chances to go back in time AGAIN, Sol decided not cross path with Sun Jae during that first meeting they had in a rain shower. We won't have a masterpiece song after this encounter anymore. Waah!

Will they really be able to change their fate? Sol can't avoid meeting Sun Jae though and for sure Sun Jae would fall in love again with Sol and Sun Jae would end up dying again. Perhaps it's time for Sol to accept their fate? That all they need to do is cherish every moments they have together instead of thinking of the future where they'll get separated by death?

But wait, Kim Young Soo was already imprisoned, right? Which means, Sun Jae won't die in the present time!!! Waaaah! Sol just went back in time to make Sun Jae alive again! Hmmm...

How about you? What are your thoughts in this episode?

Chun Woo Hee Breaks Jang Ki Yong's Heart In The Atypical Family Episode 6

That explains now why Bok Man Heum was uncomfortable and irritated with Do Da Hae despite knowing that a wedding will be held between Da Hae and Gwiju. She knew it won't proceed though because her vision's main point was that Da Hae would confess her sins and run away from the wedding. Well, at least she has come clean now in front of everyone. I wasn't that surprised anymore about the confession since she was showing signs of guilt when Gwiju started to change for the better because of her. The sincerity of Gwiju grew on her, I'd probably want to knock her off if she'll never find conscience from that. Sigh... it's painful for sure on Gwiju's side but it's better that she revealed everything coming from her mouth. Thank goodness she didn't pushed the wedding through because we all know it's gonna hurt even more if Gwiju found out everything that late. Ahhh! Just when Gwiju found hope in her, to start a new life, everything crumbles down once again.

Anyways, on the other hand, Bok Dong Hee got her powers back when she fell from the 2nd floor while fighting with Grace. She ended up floating and never hit the ground at all. The question is, will it be temporary or permanent?! Hmmm.. I hope it would be the former because I really want to see Dong Hee slim again. I want to see her better self than seeing her obese with powers like that. She needs to work on her weight and her character too, yes, we need some HUGE developments in that aspect. lol

And also I-na... I sometimes want to slap her foul mouth for being so stubborn but then again she's just a kid. hahaha! I mean, doesn't it frustrate you too with how she's acting lately? She felt like she knew everything just because she could read minds. I wish she would be there by her father's side this time now that Gwiju's in his depressing state again after a heartbreak. Well, I assume he'll end up in that state again after Da Hae calling off the wedding.

Jang Ki Yong Discovered Chun Woo Hee to be Present in his Unforgettable Memory of the Past In The Atypical Family Episode 5

The latest episode of the Atypical Family was really good! I didn't expect that twist about Da Hae telling the truth about that fire incident in her school, Seonjae Girls' High School. The time where I-na was born and the fire incident happen where Gwiju kept on coming back, the person that got stocked at the 5th floor storage of Seonjae Girls High School was none other than Do Da Hae. Wow!

Finding out that she has an awful past made me sympathize with her. I swear, I got so pissed off by her in this episode because she always uses her pity card with Gwiju just to get away from getting busted with her lies. But after that last scene, everything got washed away. lol I mean, she's really pitiful but I know that this shouldn't be an excuse for her to do something evil like deceiving people to gain wealth.

As per I-na's vision of her thoughts, Da Hae's biological mom didn't care about her, her father died as an alcoholic, then a loan shark who asked payment for her dad's debts became her mom, she also got bullied at school reason why she got stuck in that storage room even when the fire broke. When no one tried to find her, she felt helpless and all alone in her life... that's when a help from a man came. I'd assume, for now, that it was Gwiju's senior colleague who died from the fire. But I have a gut feeling that it'll turned out to become Gwiju who will save Da Hae in the end. This is so freaking awesome!

Tbh, I see a lot of viewers that didn't like the story of this drama or where it's going because it wasn't a typical plot for a Kdrama where the female lead does not possess the 'role model' kind of character. Da Hae is a scammer in this story after all. Some of the viewers dropped this drama already because of that, but for me, I really am enjoying every bits of it so I'm gonna stick with it till the end. It's not always we see something different for a Kdrama story after all.

Bok family is starting to get suspicious of Da Hae after knowing the background of the person Da Hae calls to be her mom. But they still couldn't discard Da Hae yet because of Bok mom's dream. She only dreams about a family member after all (aside from stocks and sweepstake results), reason why she believes that Da Hae is the one who will save Gwiju and will become part of their family in the end. However, I-na already knew all along about Da Hae since the first time she read her mind. She was playing along with her because she felt like she's the lesson that Gwiju's mom deserves and because she also pitied her.

Waaaah! I really am so excited for this drama! It's been a while!

Lee Je Hoon and the rest of Unit 1 Detectives are Determined to Catch Lee Bong Joon In Chief Detective 1958 Episode 9

The 4 spoiled brats that are sons of powerful politicians became the last criminals for unit 1 detectives to arrest. And yes, they've decided to use 2 episodes for it. Not that I mind though as I find episode 9 really good and suspenseful. The kids are 4 and are very rich and powerful, this reminds me of Boys over flowers but with this case, it has gone wrong. lol Typical pieces of shits abusing their powers and do heinous crimes. They think that they are above law that's why they wanted to push through whatever comes to their mind, especially playing with girls that they find in here. All four of them has rotten patience, typical for rich kids I'd say. They feel entitled and because of that, their time and existence are much more important than anyone else. Ugh, I would love to slap their faces for once. kkk

However, there's plot twist in it. Jung Hee Sung decided to save himself and his reputation from Nam Jung Gil, Kwon Hyung Geun and No Hyun Hak. Since it's all 4 of them who did Soonjung wrong, it was Jung Hee Sung that actually did the act of murdering her and the other 3 were witnesses of this crime. It's not like the 3 were excluded from the whole murder case though since they are considered as accomplices too, so I really wanted for all of them to get caught rot in jail and get the justice that Soonjung deserved. But just like I said, Hee Sung decided to save himself and tried to eliminate 3 of his friends so no one would ever dare to touch him. Unfortunately for him, Jung Gil survived the car accident and that's what makes Hee Sung anxious and crazy about it. Since he's the sole survivor of everything and is the prime suspect of the case, the unit 1 detectives were after him. They knew that he would harm Jung Gil in the hospital again so the detectives are looking out for Jung Gil to get his testimony one recovered. The security in Jung Gil's room were tight though, which makes everything difficult for our detectives.

Anyways, last episode tonight! I can't wait to see how it'll all end. Sigh.. I'm gonna miss this show for sure. Btw, I really find the actors portraying the 4 brats in this episode to be really good at their roles. I'm gonna look forward to their future projects for sure now! The one portraying Jung Gil is familiar to me though. I think he's the one who portrayed the assistant/hitman of Chairman Joo in Hide Kdrama.

Jang Ki Yong and Chun Woo Hee Shared a Passionate Kiss in The Atypical Family Episode 4

We found out in this episode that the woman that Da Hae called to be her mom wasn't actually her biological mother. She was a loan shark who went to Da Hae's father's funeral and ask her to become responsible to her father's debts. Later on, with Da Hae no longer having a guardian by her side, this loan shark lady offered to become her new guardian but in expense of something else and that's becoming one of her minions. That's how Da Hae today is part of the scamming schemes of this lady. Da Hae couldn't easily get away from her. Even though she insisted on getting another target because she recently found out that Bok family has special powers, loan shark mom denied her plea and gave a tip to proceed with their plans.

Speaking of this tip, loan shark mom told Da Hae about Gwiju's weakness and it's about the fire incident where his senior colleague had died. They really are desperate in getting the last money/property of the Boks that's why they are using their weaknesses against them. It's just sad that Da Hae is the one executing their plans. The Boks were so nice to her (except Dong Hee) and yet she still decided to deceive them. It's gonna hurt for sure when that time comes where they finally find out about Da Hae's real motive in approaching them. Anyways, I still am believing that there's something special with Da Hae that's somehow connected with the super powers of the Boks. What if she's some kind of 'avatar' in their clan. lol You know, same concept that she's the savior of them all. It's just that her powers aren't awake yet that she has no idea she has powers. kkk That's gonna be awesome!

The ending scene, Da Hae forged a marriage registration form and lied to Gwiju about him giving it to her. She's really taking advantage of his power now for their own benefits. Waaaah! But then, of course, Gwiju was doubtful he'll do such a thing and therefore, instead of just easily conforming to that 'event' that is yet to happen, he wanted to ignite some feelings between them first. Tbh, even if Gwiju looked doubtful, him trying to ignite some feelings between them was more like a preparation of the future. He wouldn't want to get married without feelings after all. And that's how the kiss happened! AHHH! The turn of events are exciting but I'd be lying if I said that I'm not scared of it. I mean, Da Hae needs to stop digging her own grave by stop scamming people. She needs to change quick or else she'll hurt people around her that truly cares for her.

Lee Je Hoon and Seo Eun Su are Expecting a Baby In Chief Detective 1958 Episode 8

Episode 8 really made me so mad with young criminals who thought they could get away with their crimes just because they're protected by the law due to their 'young' age. The episode started with Yeonghan and chief Yu talking about parenthood, that it takes a lot of guts to be parents then they worked on this case with an ungrateful and psychotic son murdering his own parents. Sheesh. He should get sentenced to life imprisonment but since he's still young he'd only get sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment. Other than this case Sangsun and Gyeonghwan worked together on catching the snatchers and they also happened to be teenagers who blames injustice that they've experienced because of the government and their officials. The world is really made up of a lot of flaws made by evil humans. Imagine bringing your own child to this kind of world. And that's why we need some clean ups, we need people like Yeonghan and the others to lead a better world.

Anyways, I am so happy that Hyeju finally has some good news to share. In the last and the start of this episode, we get to see Hyeju stressing out on having a baby while Yeonghan assures her that there's a time for everything and that even if she doesn't get pregnant, he's okay with just the two of them. But at the last scene of episode 8, she brought up about being pregnant and that made Yeonghan ecstatic about the good news. Tbh, I really love this married couple so much. They are representing what a healthy marriage really is. They support each other, they make time to spend with each other and they assure each other all the time, they make me really jealous of them. Thankfully I have found my other half too! I hope we'll be the same like them. Yay!

Chun Woo Hee Discovers the Supernatural Abilities of Jang Ki Yong and Soo Hyun In The Atypical Family Episode 3

So many good on-going dramas right now, for real. This and Frankly Speaking are all making me excited! In this episode of The Atypical Family, we get to know the real powers of Bok I-na and that's she can read people's minds. If I-na made eye contact with someone, that's when she's able to use her powers. That's the reason why she's so careful not to take her eyeglasses off of her eyes. She was able to read Da Hae's mind about her being the key to that 50 billion won building to which Da Hae brushed off quickly. It wouldn't take long now that Da Hae's real motive in coming into their lives would get busted by her. Other than Da Hae, I-na was also able to read her crush's mind. She was so restless being around people in her school but that positive affirmation about her that she read from her crush would definitely change it all. I hope she'll be able to live like a normal girl at school studying like everybody else.

My other curiosity goes to Da Hae. I mean, even though we know their intention of getting closer with Bok family, there's something about Da Hae that makes me feel like she's really a good person.  I wouldn't be surprised if she'll change her mind later in deceiving the Bok family. I really do have a feeling that she'll grow closer with all the family members and that her heart would open sincerely with them. I wonder if Da Hae's real family were the ones she's with plotting this evil plan towards the Boks. What if they're just people who gathered around because they were all desperate to get some cash and no blood relation involved at all? It's also possible right?!

Da Hae is so interesting because of her mysterious background. We don't know anything more about her other than her motive. We still yet to find out why she's the only one who Gwiju can see with colors and can touch in his 'happy moment' in the past? And why is Da Hae able to see him and even talk with him? I'm starting to think that she actually really has some super power too!

Anyways, Da Hae already has suspicions but she and her team brushed it off about Bok family having super powers but now that she has seen it with her own eyes, I'm so curious how she'd react next. Will she go far away from them or will she pretend not knowing everything?! kkk It's gonna be hilarious for sure! I'm excited!

Lee Je Hoon Continues to Get Bothered by Kim Min Jae In Chief Detective 1958 Episode 7

My anger has officially transferred from Queen of Tear's Yoon Eun Sung to Chief 1958's captain Baek Do Seok. Choi Dal Sik has lied low in making me pissed off but this good for nothing Baek Do Seok's corruption and stupidity just makes me wanna punch his face when he's on screen, he's the worst replacement of Dal Sik. He's so desperate to contribute to his corrupt higher ranking bosses like Dal Sik and probably more that he wouldn't mind acting like their dogs. What makes him even more anger-worthy is that he acts like a dog to his higher ups but playing the big boss to Jongnam station as their senior superintendent. I know he's literally their boss but this shxt keeps hindering unit 1 who are only trying to find real justice for the victims of criminals they captured. Like what he did in this episode, Baek Do Seok wanted team 1 to hand over the stock crime related cases to an agency where they protect the said criminals and set them free. This makes the good guys look stupid in the eyes of the criminals like what happened today. Ugh! Until when are my detectives gonna be under these corrupt officials? We're already at episode 7 out of 10! Please give me a satisfying ending as payment for my high blood pressure experience watching the show. kkkk

If only chief Yu pushed through giving the authorities the evidence of Choi Dal Sik's betrayal to their nation then Baek Do Seok wouldn't be in their office any longer as he'll go down with him. But no, chief Yu was thinking that it may bring chaos to the good people like his team Unit 1if they have back ups to get them. That Sinkwang Society, where Dal Sik is a part of, is still existing after all. Ugh.

Anyways, since we're left with only 3 episodes as of writing, I can't hide the fear I feel about the wife of Park Yeonghan. He's doing the right thing as a detective but it really scares me that his wife might become the consequences of him fighting the big corrupt officials. These people know how to stoop so low for them to get what they wanted and eliminate the hindrance to their evil plans, it's not impossible that they may resort to killing Yeong Han's wife, Hyeju. Waaah! I'm so scared for her! It'll be heartbreaking if ever she'll end up dead!

Kang Han Na Found Hope For Her Next Show Thanks To Go Kyung Pyo's Notebook in Frankly Speaking Episode 4

Wow, I swear this drama is getting better and better! It's really growing on me, and that ending scene truly excites me. It has been a while since I felt that rush gushing over me, my heart fluttering because of Song Ki Baek and On Woo Ju. I swear there really is chemistry between them when I thought there's none. I love them already. Can I also just say how awesome it really is when they used the OST in the ending scene? The entrance was so smooth, and it really fit the scene so well! Kudos to the director for that!

In this episode 4, we got to see some harsh truth happening inside a family and it involves money. Song Ki Baek has been the constant source of money for their whole family previously and now that he has decided to quit out of impulse, the whole family acts awkwardly around him now that he's back living with them and without a job. It feels really awful, and I can imagine how painful it is for Ki Baek. Can't he sit still and take a rest for quite some time? These family members of him are so selfish. Money isn't even that easy to work hard for, they wouldn't know because they weren't even working to provide for themselves, only Ki Baek knows it and it's just disappointing that his family members treat him like a plague now that he has no money. I hope their set up becomes better.

There's actually a thought that's been running on my mind lately and this drama has become the clear representation of it. I've thought that, if we decided to take on the role of the provider of the family, we need to take it into our heads that... providing money isn't enough. There's a need to make connection with people whom you provide for if you want them still around you after you have nothing anymore (job and money). In the case of Ki Baek, he got used to only transferring money without connecting to them before which is why it's been awkward among all family members since he came to their house. This reality is applicable to all breadwinners and most especially the dads of the house. It's not always about money, try to connect with your family too.

Anyways, back to the story. Song Ki Baek found out what turns on the switch of his illness of speaking frankly and it's when he sneezes. It turns off only when On Wooju pushes his chest lightly. Aaaaah! I'm getting excited about this concept. It means that they'll become inseparable in the upcoming episodes and there, the love between them would bloom! I really do think that Jeong Heon would become a great help for Wooju's career but I think that it's Ki Baek who's gonna catch her heart this time. Sometimes, it's with the person who we are with during the time we hit rock bottom of our lives that we would feel comfortable with also when we reached success in our lives. It's like in a wedding vow, through thick and thin, richer and poorer, they'll stay together... that's what it's gonna be for Ki Baek and Wooju for sure! Waaaaa! My heart is so excited for these two! For real!
