Jang Na Ra Starts To Show Affection For Jung Yong Hwa In Sell Your Haunted Episode 6

Truth is slowly getting revealed in this show as Joo Hwa Joong (Kang Mal Geum), the assistant of Hong Ji Ah (Jang Na Ra), finds out about the connection between Hong Ji Ah and Oh In Bum. The last client that Ji Ah's mother had in the past before her death was Oh In Bum's uncle, who became an unrested soul and loiter around Dohak Construction's chairman Do Hak Sung (Ahn Kil Kang). Apparently, as per Oh Sung Sik (Kim Dae Gon), Do Hak promised to give him an apartment to do 'something' and end up him burning a place and killing lots of people. Sung Sik got fooled and the guilt and anger that he felt after his misdeed was cause for his death.

One thing I've learned new from this drama's story is that exorcists aren't allowed to extinguish an unrested soul that's trapped in their body? Hong Ji Ah's mother died because she stabbed herself with the needle that her exorcist daughter couldn't do. So it only means that this process of eliminating an unrested soul using their own body is a taboo for them and the consequence of executing this taboo is in exchange of their lives. That's why Daebak real estate company is hiring for a strong psychic on that matter. Oh, it all makes sense to me now. I like how the shows slowly revealing us the major information of the storyline, as always.

Lee Kwang Soo To Leave Running Man After 11 Years

On April 27, one of the original cast member, Lee Kwang Soo, was announced that he'll step down from the show Running Man after 11 years. Kwang Soo decided to resign from Running Man due to an injury from a car accident that hasn't fully healed after a year. He will continue and focus on his rehabilitation for his injury after leaving the show. His last shooting schedule for Running Man will be on May 24.

It's that time of the week again, we're here to update the Most Buzzworthy Drama List and Most Buzzworthy Cast Members. Currently back on track with watching and updating this blog with dramas I've picked up just recently. I'm watching Taxi Driver and Sell Your Haunted House and I'm looking for some more to add. I actually am waiting from the premiere of Bossam: Steal The Fate and Doom At Your Service, both will start airing this May 1 and May 10 respectively. Vincenzo will end this week too so I really need to add more so I won't have a vacant time at night watching. Kdrama truly is a part of my life now like breathing. lol 

Lee Je Hoon Is Not Your Ordinary Taxi Driver

Took time to check out the Korean drama that replaced The Penthouse 2 on its time slot and it's none other than the Taxi Driver! I checked out the ratings for this and they are all high and it's still increasing each new episodes per week. If this keep going it might actually be in par with The Penthouse 2's ratings which is a great gain for SBS. 

I actually saw a few of the cast promoting Taxi Driver at Cultwo radio show before its airing started. I happened to come across them because it's the same day wherein Wendy was promoting her solo mini album 'Like Water' on Cultwo show. I just shrugged them off, really and now they are making a buzz in the kdrama world which made me finally watch the first 2 episodes.

This is finally the end of the rumors about Maeda Atsuko's divorce rumors as she herself shared the truth about her private life just so to make everyone shut up and move on. Last April 23, Maeda Atsuko revealed via her official Instagram account that she's now divorced with Ryo Katsuji and the main reason is because of different lifestyle and values. Despite the end of their marriage, Acchan still wished the people to support her husband which clearly shows that they are separating in good terms, right? She also stressed out on her post that she will devote herself to her son as a single parent and also to being an actress. 

Kwak Dong Yeon Found A "Hyung" In Song Joong Ki In Vincenzo Episode 18

I am so glad that Jang Han Seo (Kwak Dong Yeon) is finding a family in the character of Vincenzo (Song Joong Ki). From the previous episode, we've seen Jang Han Seo shooting Vincenzo and I know most of the viewers thought that it was the real case, I honestly thought the same too! However, just seeing Jang Han Seo smiling for his 'hyung' Vincenzo at the ice rink, I already had my doubts that he'll do so. I mean, the guy really adores Vincenzo with that smile. He finally found the 'hyung' that would appreciate him and treat him like a real family. And I'm so glad that it turned out that way in the latest episode 18. 

Jung Yong Hwa Is Jang Nara's Special Psychic In Sell Your Haunted House Episodes 3 & 4

With Sell Your Haunted House concept of exorcism, CEO x male sidekick/love interest, I can't help but compare it with IU's Hotel Del Luna. The only difference I see in here is that Jang Man Wol is an old cursed spirit getting rid of other wandering spirits while Hong Ji Ah (Jang Na Ra) is a human and the fact that Jang Man Wol is doing this work because it's her punishment while it's a livelihood for Hong Ji Ah. Hmmm... there are 2 actors portraying sub characters in this drama of Sell Your Haunted House that are very familiar too in terms of starring in a fantasy/horror theme of dramas. We have Ahn Kil Kang who starred in Tale Of The Nine Taled and Joseon Exorcist and  Kang Hong Seok who's known as the grim reaper in Hotel Del Luna. The first psychic of Hong Ji Ah, portrayed by Choi Woo Seong, it took me a while to point out which drama I've seen him from first. And it's a no wonder since he's only partially took part in She Would Never Know as KLAR's apprentice under Rowoon. It's nice to see these faces, it feels so familiar which is why I'm at ease to watch a Jang Na Ra and Jung Hong Hwa project. 

Exorcist Jang Na Ra And Swindler Jung Yong Hwa Clashes In Sell Your Haunted House Episodes 1 & 2

It took me a while to check out this drama. It started airing since April 14, so we have 4 episodes out now as of writing. But it's never too late when it comes to watching K-drama, right? I really am glad I checked it out! I'm currently done with 2 episodes and I think it's safe for me to say now that I'm totally IN to this! 

This drama basically is about exorcism in which Hong Ji Ah (Jang Na Ra) is a CEO of a company called Daebak Real Estate and her main job is to perform exorcism on properties that has evil spirits and sell them after. The commission in selling these properties is what kept their company running. Meanwhile, the scammer Oh In Bum (Jung Yong Hwa) creates schemes involving technology to create a hologram of a ghost in order to make money. At first I really thought that he was real and it's something about 2 exorcists fighting for clients but he ended up a swindler. However, there's a plot twist!! He's actually a real time psychic which Hong Ji Ah calls them. The person that is essential in making her exorcism work and get finished. She's basically using them to get rid fully of the evil spirits by transferring the soul to a psychic's body and then Ji Ah will stab them with something and end of case!

Vincenzo Avenges The Death Of His Mother In Vincenzo Episode 17

It's been a while since I've watched  a kdrama in a while and the latest episode of Vincenzo is giving me a grand welcome. It's been a while since I've felt intense mixed emotions while watching a Korean drama and I've felt that with the latest episode of Vincenzo. I really thought that I would never connect with this drama because I'm half way through it and I'm just only 'okay' with the turn of events but with the previous episode last 2 weeks ago and up to episode 17, I'm just so stunned all through out! We're at the climax of this drama, people! This is the part that I've been waiting for! I was at the edge of my seat the entire time watching, I'm so effin' amazed with Vincenzo a mafia. 

WENDY's Solo Debut Album LIKE WATER Received 3.5 Stars Out Of 5 Rating From Music Critics

4 as the highest rating given to an artist's album so far this year 2021 (not sure if from their entire history) so Wendy receiving 3.5 stars for a solo debut album is indeed a huge achievement for her as an artist. IU is currently the one who holds the highest rating of 4 with her recent released album called LILAC. Like Water surely is a solo debut success and glad that fans, casual listeners and music critics are receiving this creation warmly. 

With Wendy's Like Water receiving a high rating of 3.5 stars, she joined Hwasa and Taeyeon as female soloists receiving such achievement for a solo debut album.

Vincenzo Tops Weekly Most Buzzworthy Drama List (April 5 - April 11)

I'm currently on a break from watching kdramas so if you're asking where I am and why I'm not updating it's because of this. Main reason is because I'm still so emotional about Wendy's solo and how it ended quickly too. There has been speculations that Red Velvet is gonna return soon so they are halting Wendy's solo activities quickly to rest and prepare but heck, solo debut happens ONCE in a lifetime and Red Velvet could do comebacks whenever they want! Where is the fucking logic here! Ugh! It's saddening really, how SM is treating Wendy when she has sold 100k album copies in a week and still counting because SM themselves haven't restocked the albums up until now, where is my fucking album?! It's not shipped yet coz the case is still out of stock! mygod! SM you're sabotaging your own artist! Remember she's the title holder for female solo artist who has most #1 on iTunes album charts with 33 effin' countries, so where's your respect SM? 

WENDY/Song Seungwan Is ISFP!!! | Get To Know More Red Velvet Based On Their MBTI

Throughout her solo debut promotions, fan call event particularly, Wendy shared that she's an ISFP. Yup, besties are ISFP. Seulgi mentioned before too that she's an ISFP. (Read: RED VELVET's Joy, Yeri and Seulgi's MBTI) These two are just meant to be, I mean, now we know why they think alike and get along really well with each other.

It all started with Kim Jung Hyun and now we're ending with Seo Ye Ji being criticized to the fullest. Seriously, she's suffering most from this scandal as she's the 'bigger' artist compared to Kim Jung Hyun when it comes to popularity. Seo Ye Ji is considered one of the biggest actresses in South Korea and her continuous popularity over the time and great acting capabilities landed her to a lot of acting projects and commercial brands. Now that she's suffering from a scandal that tarnishes her 'good' and 'role model' image to the general public the projects and brands that she's currently in are also suffering great losses. Being cancelled by the general public surely is a nightmare especially when you're this popular and have many active projects or endorsements like Seo Ye Ji. As of writing, a lot of brands were already starting to cancel their contracts with Seo Ye Ji amidst the scandal and it certainly has consequences as per their contract agreements. As per reports, Seo Ye Ji is expected to pay billions of Korean won as penalty in 'breaching' her advertisements/brands' contracts.

I took a break from blogging/updating about Kdrama stuff lately due to Wendy's solo debut but I assure you that I'm still updated with what's happening lately especially the scandal involving Kim Jung Hyun and Seo Ye Ji. I find this scandal really ridiculous if you'd ask me. I mean, it all started with what we all thought would be a good news which is the dating of Kim Jung Hyun and his partner in Crash Landing On You, Seo Ji Hye, but it actually became a window of revealing the truth from the past. Dispatch posting photos of him and Seo Ji Hye were all denied by both parties and then it turned out that Kim Jung Hyun was 'only' having negotiation with Seo Ji Hye's agency as he was considering transfer of agency. Hmmm I won't really comment much about this anymore since there's a much bigger issue to look at and I think what's happening now with Kim Jung Hyun's career is something that should have happened way back what he did in 'Time' drama.

I've been so affected by Wendy's comeback in the music scene that's why I'm so not active lately when it comes to other Korean updates and stuff but after a week, I guess I'm a bit okay now and have adjusted to it. lol I'm not saying Wendy's not making me feel okay but I'm just so emotional that my heart couldn't take it whenever she's having a schedule lately. It feels like my mind and my world is only for Wendy. lol I wish that's the only case for my whole life but then again I'm just a mere person who needs to live her own life too. Ah.. The Penthouse 2 Tops Weekly Most Buzzworthy Drama List (March 29 - April 4)

The finale episode of The Penthouse 2 aired last week and as usual, they topped the most buzzworthy drama list of that week. Vincenzo on the other hand is getting stronger not only with their weekly episode ratings but also in this ranking of weekly most buzzworthy cast member as Jeon Yeo Bin joins Song Joong Ki and Ok Taecyeon on the list. I think it's her first time to appear on this ranking ever since day week 1 of Vincenzo drama. I do think Vincenzo will be the one to take the no. 1 spot of The Penthouse 2 on this ranking.

I just have to compile everything in here because I am so proud of her and I know that there will be time, in the near future, wherein she will outdo her own personal records so this will become my reference to go back to every time. Also, since Like Water is Wendy's solo debut album, I want to archive everything and not miss out because she's that essential to my mentality that I have to know if she's been doing well and with her current set of records achieved, I'm feeling great that everything is going smoothly and incredibly well. No, I didn't forget about Wendy releasing her debut album yesterday (April 5, 2021), in fact, I've been waiting ever since SM announced about her solo debut. I really woke up so early yesterday morning to get ready for work as well to ready myself emotionally with this huge WENDY day ahead of me. I've never been so excited in my life recently than anticipating Wendy's solo album. I've pre-ordered early, I spread the word about her, I listened to her music even before her solo. Like, I know most of you already know that I'm a HUGE Wendy fan ever since I've become a Reveluv. She's my total bias and this solo debut and just entirely her comeback to music scene, releasing amazing music, is making me feel so emotional really. I just love Wendy so much and now, with her newest music, I think I've admired her even way higher than before. I see her like my hero now. The Penthouse 2 Fails To Outdo Episode 12's Record Breaking Ratings With FINALE Episode

Oh this is quite a let down in some way, for me, as the finale of The Penthouse 2 fail to outdo their current nationwide viewership rating record. Perhaps I was expecting way too much from it considering how well it runs recently but anyways, they still manage to end this season as first with their 25.8% ratings.

Just when we thought we're going to have our happy ending with Shim Su Ryeon and Logan Lee, I'm reminded again that this is The Penthouse, and there's no such thing as 'happy' in here. Shim Su Ryeon will never be happy as long as Joo Dan Tae is alive. Sigh, that demon really has his ways. 

Kim Young Dae Rises To Fame And Receives Offer To Lead In A New Romantic Drama

Kim Young Dae is receiving so much popularity that he's getting so much projects in line. I've known him first from The Penthouse: War In Life (2020/2021) and then later on found out that he was also casted in Extraordinary You (2019) and Cheat On Me If You Can (2020) which were all successful dramas in their own. He also did special cameo in a popular webtoon drama called True Beauty (2021) and now, he's in talks for a lead role opposite of Seo Hyun Jin in an upcoming SBS romantic drama called "Why Oh Soo Jae".

Today, reports about Shin Hye Sun getting an offer to star in a movie called "Open The Door" came out. Shin Hye Sun's agency, YNK Entertainment, confirmed that she received an offer but clarified that she still hasn't decided anything regarding the project or be in talks with it.

At this rate we already know that The Penthouse 2 will reign this ranking in their entire airing period. Not surprising. The finale episode will air this Friday (April 2), and I can already foresee that it will remain on its no. 1 spot on the Weekly Most Buzzworthy Drama and Cast Members as I'm expecting that this episode would record their highest viewership rating like it did in season 1.
