Go Kyung Pyo Protected His Heart and Dream In Frankly Speaking Episode 3

This episode tells us exactly what it means to be protecting our hearts by expressing what we really mean and by standing up for our own self including our dreams. Nobody would be able to protect us but ourselves. This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. He was so used to living in lies and sugarcoat everything that he lost his true self to get himself to his desired dream/goal. Now that he got a disease of telling only the truth, it

RED VELVET's Joy, Yeri and Seulgi's MBTI

MBTI is really becoming popular nowadays and even Korean celebrities take the test to discover their own personality types. But the only celebrity that I really am curious about is Red Velvet's members and thankfully a few of them confirmed or shared their MBTI in social media or other platform. Knowing Red Velvet, it's really hard to know them personally due to their protectiveness over their privacy. I think they are one of those public figures who have set a line between their private life and their working life as a celebrity and I think that's what makes them even more respectable. And they give this mysterious vibe like, 'hey, we may be a celebrity but you cannot know everything about us', which makes every fans curious about them and if you're a fan and you can understand things then you'll know your position in stanning Red Velvet. We just need to respect their privacy and let the members disclose something about themselves willingly. I just brought that up since getting to know their MBTI is something that I think is quite personal so I'm only thankful that they shared it to all of us.

There was one time wherein they were in an interview for Trolls World Tour, Joy got a character that has ENFP in it and she explained herself that she was actually an INFP but becomes an ENFP when she performs on stage. I kinda know that she's an INFP considering how much of a deep thinker Joy is. Despite her external playful aura, she's actually that someone who thought deep about life in general. I think it's really evident the way she talks in LYSN, some interviews and her actions as well. Joy is that someone who wanted to explore her creativity and has the urge to grow her artistry. She once talked about it on LYSN where she wanted to explore drama, singing, variety show, etc. She's very expressive as well when it comes to what she truly feels and we all know and witnessed that fearless Joy during interviews, Ment during their concerts or just the way she express her feelings towards people around her. She's the type that when you get close to her, she'll definitely keep you forever and I think Joy really cherish her members and fans a whole lot. Just by witnessing how much she almost broke down in front of us luvies when Wendy got injured, she had suffered a lot and the most since she was the one who's very expressive of her feelings towards it.

Next is Yeri! As an INFP myself, it's quite surprising to know that Yeri is an INFP as she have said on her instagram and on her one episode in Yerihan bang. She's very energetic and known to have LOTS of friends in the industry. I thought that she's an E instead of an I. But I guess this is what I and other people are talking about when it comes to INFP, that we looked like an Extrovert when we do things that are close to our hearts, or the things we really like because it expresses ourselves and expressing ourselves is actually a difficult thing but when we do, we're unstoppable. INFPs would probably cringe or regret it after though. lol Also if I could add one more thing, INFP looked like an extrovert because we are naturally curious about people. We enjoy talking to them once we pass that awkward silent stage. And I think it's one of the reasons why Yeri fits in Yerihan bang as the host. She's genuinely curious and it's evident to how she listens and asks follow up questions to what her guests would respond to the first. Reason why her guests enjoy being on the show. With her guests, she'll learn and while getting to know them she could easily set a connection with them and has greater opportunity to become friends. Same with Joy being active in variety shows. I'd say that despite  being an INFP, they are really approachable once you get pass that awkward and silent stage. They may not be the type of person to approach first, as it would probably drain them too much, but they are very kind-hearted so rest assured that they won't bite.

Aside from discovering people and learning from them, Yeri also expresses herself in writing songs, directing it, like what she did in Dear Diary and other songs. She expresses herself in creative stuff and it's very INFP, since they have that urge of wanting create to express themselves.

INFP based on the 16 Personality types, they are called the Mediators.

Seulgi on the other hand is an ISFP. ISFPs are called to be Adventurers and they are often called to be the true artists as per 16 Personalities dot com. It is indeed so like Seulgi, she loves art, music and dancing. They have that desire to express themselves in their craft.  ISFP's dominant function is the same as INFP, Introverted Feeling. No wonder Red Velvet members are really getting along really well because Joy, Yeri and Seulgi's dominant functions are the same  which means that they are all basing their thought process and actions on their own feelings and values. Good thing these girls are nurtured from great families and it helped them to become the kindest and precious persons of themselves today.

Now this really made me even more curious about the other 2 members. Waaah!

Irene said that she hasn't taken the test about this so they just pick characteristics written behind the picture that's close to them. I don't think it's reliable and it's impossible that Irene's an extrovert either, so I won't include that in here. I'll wait for her right result if ever she will disclose it to us fans.

As for Wendy, I remember that there was an interaction between her and a fan asking about her MBTI on LYSN and Wendy replied that she'll do the test. Maybe she did or did not take it, who knows. But hopefully, she could also share that to us as well.

As you can see on my previous blog entries or my other blog, wherein I talk about MBTI, I really am very curious about it because it feels like I could understand them very well. And that it's easier for me to distinguish why they do such things or why they think that way. It's actually really informative, and if you really know the description by heart regarding each personality types then I could say that it will be easier to confirm whatever personality type they would say versus their very own actions and way of thinking. I know it's really geek kind of thing, but it's really interesting.

If you wanted to know more about INFP and MBTI then, I recommend you to visit this blog here: Quaint Path In this blog you'll see explanation in understanding INFP or MBTI in general. I hope that one helps.

I will definitely update you all regarding the other members once we get news from themselves, just because I am also curious. I love getting to know them by just how they perceive the world and judge it. It feels like I'm growing closer to them once I know their thinking process.

  1. I think Joy is INFJ though. She's very critical, and very intune with others emotions, but finds it hard to understand herself.
