Go Kyung Pyo Protected His Heart and Dream In Frankly Speaking Episode 3

This episode tells us exactly what it means to be protecting our hearts by expressing what we really mean and by standing up for our own self including our dreams. Nobody would be able to protect us but ourselves. This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. He was so used to living in lies and sugarcoat everything that he lost his true self to get himself to his desired dream/goal. Now that he got a disease of telling only the truth, it

Kim Jung Hyun Found Out Who Truly Saved Him In Mr. Queen Episode 15

It's really clever of South Koreans in making a storyline out of their history books. I'm sure I'm not the only one who researched about Korean history while watching this drama. When So Yong jokingly said that Cheoljong won't be living for long, I got really curious if she was just bluffing but I found out that this King died really young. It was a fact, he was only 33 years old when he died and reigned only 14 years. It's nice to know about their history in this kind of way because even though I am not particularly interested with it, this drama made me curious. I think it's one of the great tactics to make Korean culture/history be known by other nations watching their kdramas. I wish my country would have the courage and creativity in doing the same with our dramas in here, but I could only wish.

Anyways this episode 15 is where So Yong made an alliance with King Cheoljong. The trust is starting to build around these two and it's such a great development considering what they've gone through in the past. They finally found support from each other against their enemies, most especially Cheoljong. Who would have thought that the person he despised before could become his strongest ally. And most importantly, he fell in love with her. This is such a great development that I wanted from a drama, all good!

I seriously am really curious about how this would end. Now that the king finally discovered who really saved him from the well, I'm expecting that his regrets would take to another level. He was so mean to her and even tried to kill her assuming that So Yong is nothing but a person part of the clan that he and his own clan despised the most. If he's really a man with dignity then I'm sure he'll be saddened to discover this information. Who wouldn't, right? So Yong was the one who cared for him when he had nothing, and she did her best in order to save him from the well with the help of the clueless cousin of hers and yet he tried to kill him. Wah! I'm so excited for his reactions with this discovery. I bet he'll fall for her even more.

Also, it's about time Jo Hwa Jin wake up from her own created delusions. She's trying hard to become the Queen but she's just an impostor of So Yong from the very start. Ugh.
