Welcome To Sam Dal-ri Wraps Up With A 12.4% Nationwide Viewership Rating For Its Finale Episode

Welcome to Samdal-ri really is a masterpiece! I just love the whole run of the show and how the story unfolded. Slow burn rom-com drama but really is on point on how it conveys different emotions and feelings to the viewers watching. Great actors, wonderful story and beautiful cinematography, skillful direction, what other praise could I say about this drama? The development infused to each character here is just superb! All of the characters really improved! Just all good stuff! Welcome to Samdal-ri is just hands down! Job well done to everyone!

Now let's talk about the finale! The perfect grand finale. Episodes 15 and 16, are what I actually consider as the whole finale for this drama. Just part 1 and part 2. Episode 15, as part 1, Cho Sang Tae and Ko Mi Ja interact as friends again and Cho Sang Tae giving his blessing to Sam Dal and Yong Pil. Reaching that point has already put my heart at ease.

Part 2 is Episode 16 where the main villain in Sam Dal's career meet her doom and the reporter who started to write malicious things about her also became the person who wrote flowery words about her exhibition and come back. Jin Dal is in good terms already with her ex-husband, Hae Dal got a new love life and became a haenyo just like her mom, 3 boys from power rangers got successful in their own respective businesses and careers (Gyeong Tae finally has a gf while Sang Do's just rich kkkk) and MY MOST AWAITED character development..... Yong Pil choosing and reaching his dream. I'm happy that he's living his dream now together with Sam Dal. I love it!

I really enjoyed watching this drama! I'm gonna miss it so much since I already got attached to almost all characters in here. The whole villagers of Sam Dal-ri are just wonderful beings. Waaaah!

Now the question is, will I recommend this drama to everyone?! DEFINITELY AN EASY YES!!! I just found out that the finale got at oozing 12.4% nationwide viewership ratings for its finale episode, it's their highest rating for the whole run!!! Congratulations to the whole crew!! It's a successful drama!

The Whole Village Stands Up For Shin Hae Sun Against Malicious Reporters In Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 15

Oh gosh, we're already at episode 15! Just one more episode and we're done with Welcome to Samdal-ri K-drama. If I'm being honest, I think, between My Demon and Welcome to Samdal-ri, the latter is the one I'm going to miss the most. I love the Do Do Hee and most especially Jeong Gu Won, but those two are in no par with the characters of Welcome to Samdal-ri as whole. If we're going to level the power of main couples between the two dramas, of course, Do Hee and Gu Won are a match for Cho Sam Dal and Cho Yong Pil when it comes to depth and personality they have but what makes Welcome to Samdal-ri as a drama much more likable for me is the side characters. I think having wonderful side characters add a much flavorful experience to me as a viewer, that aside from the main characters story, the drama make me more invested with it as whole because of how all characters (main and side) connect perfectly with each other. It's like you wouldn't get tired of too much exposure of the main characters because there's a lot of side characters that blends well with the story as whole. You know what I'm saying?! kkk

Anyways, back to the episode 15, as usual for someone incompetent as Bang Eun Ju, she has no skills to make herself shine in her field which is why she's just dragging someone higher than her down in a place where she rots in. In this case, she's dragging Sam Dal with her. But overall, this ex-assistant is just way too sketchy from the very start. I thought before, she's just envious of the shine and exposure that Sam Dal's experiencing but this btch went berserk because nothing goes on her way in promoting a product that she had been paid off. Like, wtf?!!! It's just all about the money, my goodness. She has no intention to really put herself out there and show to the world how good she is with taking photos. No wonder, she's a whole crap with it. Sigh... she's just a very shallow personality overall. Money is really the root of evil, guys! This btch needs to rot in hell instead! Oh boy, I can't wait for this girl to meet her doom real soon. It's about to happen in episode 16, the finale, so let's just hope that she'll get a punishment that she deserves.

Now, let's talk about Cho Yong Pil. He's finally getting back the things he lost, like Sam Dal from that forced break-up, his father from mourning and the opportunity to make his dream come true when it comes to his field/career. We all know that, Yong Pil's dream has always been Sam Dal. For Sam Dal to achieve her own dreams and that's it for him. But as an individual, as a forecaster, he dreams of working in WMO (World Meteorological Organization) in Switzerland. Now that this opportunity came in, hopefully, he will decide what his heart and mind really desires. Yong Pil had sacrificed already a lot in his life, his time, and so... I want him to have a growth as a character. You know, standing up for his own dream as a forecaster not just relying his dreams on Sam Dal overall.... he could just come back if he happened to not like working there, but at least he tried. right? He'll have no what ifs and regrets at all. This time, I think Sam Dal has to do the sacrifice of waiting for him considering all the things Yong Pil did for her. Sigh... but if ever he'll decide to stay, then I guess that's just everything about Yong Pil. That's just how he is. Period.

As for the whole village joining forces to stand up for Sam Dal against malicious reporters and bullies, this event is just so heartwarming. Their unity just shows how lovely their relationship with each other as a village and how their bond is really strong despite having gossips circulating around them in the earlier episodes. I don't know if such union still exist in reality but if it does, I surely am going to cry out of happiness if I were Sam Dal. I mean, receiving this kindness and treatment surely would make one feel that belongingness in the community. That would really boost anyone's confidence as a person I'd say. What a lovely village. I'm gonna miss them all.

Yu Oh Seong Finally Gives His Blessing To Shin Hae Sun and Ji Chang Wook's Relationship In Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 14

Wow! After a very long time, Cho Sang Tae finally gave his blessing to Cho Yong Pil and Cho Sam Dal.
Who would've thought that only Sam Dal's sweet romantic talk about love could melt this cold heart of Sang Tae. kkk But then, I think that this positive result was already the summed up effort of Ko Mi Ja, Cho Pan Sik, Cho Yong Pil and finally Sam Dal in persuading Sang Tae in giving them forgiveness and blessing.

Hmmm... dissecting from Sang Tae's experience, I could feel how it really is hard to move on from a lover especially when the love was still there and that everything wasn't his fault why Bu Mi Ja vanished in his life. It was a natural disaster that made it so hard for Sang Tae to accept the truth that his wife is gone. This is the reason why he kept on blaming Ko Mi Ja ever since. He cannot blame the supernatural being up above, can he? No he can't. But I'm just so happy that all is well.

Now that Sang Tae is okay  with Sam Dal, does this mean he's now okay with Ko Mi Ja?! Hmmm... I'm so excited to find out! Wah! Only 2 episodes left for this drama! I'm gonna miss this so much!!!!

Anyways, as there are only 2 episodes left, I am so thrilled to know what's going to happen to Sam Dal's assistant. I hope the writer prepared something satisfying for the punishment of this btch who's creating a lot of false and destructing rumors about Sam Dal. Seriously, a girl like her should rot in h-ell! Her insecurities and jealousy is getting out of hand, she's nothing but a talentless girl who wants to have a name in the industry. Like she would actually create a good one?! Perhaps for a little while her name would be the 'angel' in the general public because of the rumor she created about taking her own life because of a power oppressor, but when the truth comes, she'll definitely doomed! Career wise also, she's a failure. So.... good luck to her ending... hopefully, Sam Dal wouldn't act like a good Samaritan here or else I'm gonna flip the table! Wah!

Love But Do It In Silence Written By Ji Chang Wook Comforts Shin Hae Sun's Trembling Heart In Welcome To Samdal-ri Episode 13

I really don't understand those people not into Welcome to Samdal-ri, this drama is really good yah know. Yes it's a slow burn kind of drama but that's part of how the story is unfolded beautifully. Every scene is well thought of and every events connects with each other perfectly. Despite the slow burn, the beautiful script as well as the picturesque scenes will keep you hooked to the drama. There's just no waste here at all! Ahhh I really love Welcome to Samdal-ri and I think it's on top of my favorite on-going kdrama list right now.

Anyways, as usual, this new episode made me cry once again. I thought this episode 13 was safe from heavy crying moments but when Ms. Ko had a breakdown at her residence with Sang Tae, her husband and 2 daughters watching her, my eyes automatically shed tears along with her. Gosh, when a strong and reliable woman breaks down it really meant she had enough. She had been keeping all these weaknesses and emotions inside her chest for a very long time now that when she breaks down it'll totally explode! That's what's really happening to Ms. Ko right now. And to witness this is something that's really heartbreaking!

Stupid Sang Tae! Does he really need to see Ms. Ko have a breakdown in order for him to understand that he's not the only one who's in pain?! He may be the husband of Bu Mi Ja, but Ko Mi Ja had been with her more than Sang Tae. Ko Mi Ja and Bu Mi Ja were best of friends, shared several moments together, to the point that they've promised to become mothers to each other's children if they don't become in-laws in the future. So how could Sang Tae not see how Ms. Ko is also suffering from losing her best friend?! It's because he's blinded by his own misjudgment that Ms. Ko and the rest of his family had forgotten about his wife. Just because people decided to move on from one loss doesn't mean that they have forgotten. That's what Sang Tae couldn't comprehend at all because he has decided not to move on at all! And that mother of Bu Mi Ja getting lost on her own and found by Ms. Ko, mistakenly thought Ms. Ko was her child at first then went insanely mean to her after, it was such a painful scene to watch! How dare they blame the accident to her?! Waaaah! Stupid people! Ugh!

As for Sam Dal and Yong Pil's relationship, I'm happy that they are both willing now to overcome the hindrance to their love. Yong Pil didn't break up with Sam Dal because of his father after all, it was all because of Sam Dal's mom. By learning that and also the support she got silently from Yong Pil during the start of her career to its peak, Sam Dal finally realized that Yong Pil would still choose her over her father in the end. That they could work on it together as long as they both have each other. Sigh... that was so complicated but I'm glad that they finally sort out things well right now. I'm looking forward now to the next episodes on how they'll be able to warm up that cold heart of Sang Tae.

Ji Chang Wook Backs Up Shin Hae Sun Against Her Assistant In Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 11 & 12

To be able to have someone backing you up in this life is really a blessing, it makes you feel that you're not alone. In Sam Dal's case, she not only have her Yong Pil and her family, she also has the whole village backing her up. This is what I really envy to small old villages, their bond is really strong that when one of their villagers get into a fight/trouble, all of them will be willing to fight for her/him. They also work as one for the prosperity of their village. The only negative is the gossip being circulated within their circle but I guess that's inevitable to human nature especially when their focus ain't that wider/busy.

Now, the question is, will the villagers' bond remain intact after Jin Dal's CEO husband declares development of a theme park in Samdal-ri? Being haenyeos is a huge part of the villagers' unity, the old ahjummas are the ones making this small town lively. I think almost every husband's wife here are haenyeos, and diving is one of their ways to make a living. If Jeon Dae Yong's theme park proceeds, this would mean that the haenyeos would no longer be able to do all of this to which on Jin Dal's part is a benefit. She thinks that it's the only way to make their ill mother stop from diving. It'll be heartbreaking to see her stop though. Wah!

Speaking of Ms. Ko, I can already see her character development very well. After all, she's still a mother who has pure love and good intention for her child, she only wants her children's happiness. She won't be able to take it seeing her child hurting caused by a btch ruining her life and she won't be able to resist her child from wanting a love that both parents restricted her from for a very long time. Ms. Ko's favorite child after all is still Sam Dal. kkk

I'm very glad for Sam Dal that she finally felt secured and safe in the hometown that she once despised of coming back to before. And it's so satisfying to watch that evil witch/assistant of Sam Dal getting mobbed in Jeju. How dare her set foot in Sam Dal's hometown after what she did to her? Ugh, I really hate her. See? I told you all, her rotten attitude and beginner skills will one day emerge and that's what's happening to her now.

There's so much to talk about in the two episodes! But let's not forget among all is the reunion of ex-lovers. So, no more circling around the bush. They're finally back together! Right?!!! But the real cause of their breakup will once again arise because it was all along Yong Pil's father. Geez... seriously, old man, move on already! It's been years!!!! Stop making your own child suffer from your own misery. Like I said before, if you don't want to move on then dont! Just don't involve your own son from it! Ugh!

Shin Hae Sun Stuns Crowd With Her Photography Skills In Welcome to Samdalri Episode 10

Every time Cho Sang Tae's face is on the screen, I instantly get irritated by his sulking face. It's been a while since I've been this annoyed by a male character and it's him for the first day of 2024! kkk Anyways, he gathered all of Yong Pil's clothes in his luggage near the door and boy am I satisfied to see Yong Pil taking all those and finally leave the house. It's about time he moves out! Yong Pil said in this episode that he's already almost in his 40s so, it's long overdue but it's better late than never about moving out of your parent's house in your adulthood. This really isn't a mandatory in Asian family culture but for Yong Pil's case, if I were his friend, I'd definitely recommend this to him. I know, you all be judging me now for being cold hearted towards Yong Pil's dad and situation but still... enough is enough. Yong Pil has to stand on his own especially when his father is being this toxic who can't move on. Sigh, what can we do about it?

As for the face to face meet-up of Jin Dal's family and her husband... waaaaah! The excitement surely is flowing in my veins... these side characters really are giving color to this whole drama, really. I am tuning in to satisfy my curiosity as to how these husband and wife divorced and how they will get back together as the drama progress. (if that's how the story would lead them, ofc) Jin Dal as a character is fun and entertaining to watch and being added with a quirky husband, her life surely is a mess but surely ain't boring at all. The way Jin Dal saves her husband from meeting her dad in the previous episode, shows how much she didn't want to cause both family yet another chaotic problems. And the way her husband protect her from back stabbing people from Namdal-ri, I am pretty much sure that they both still care and love each other. But how will they get back together if Jin Dal's parents are fuming because they've chosen their hometown to become the new place where the theme park would rise? kkkk Good luck to him big time!

Now for the main couple. They really are caught in this push and pull situation, Yong Pil and Sam Dal will keep going through this cycle because they still aren't facing yet the main problem which is their family. It's already out in the open that they both still like each other, but what's next? It's not like they can continue on seeing each other and ignore their feelings all their life. Just hanging out without getting their feelings involved? That's the hardest and stupidest thing to do! They're wasting their youth and time! Ugh!

Anyways, I'll just let their love story unfold as it is but what I'm crazy about right now is how Sam Dal's gonna crawl back to her profession. It seems like it won't be long that she'll make a grand comeback though. Her skills are still shining wherever she goes, I'm excited to see how her assistant would go insane after Sam Dal's comeback!!

Shin Hae Sun and Ji Chang Wook Shared A Kiss After 8 years in Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 9

Thankfully, Ms. Ko survived that accident because if not, all her 3 daughters would be left in devastation. It means, they would continuously end up in remorse, regretting the days that they haven't given much time and attention to their living mother. The pain of regret brought by death of a loved one has always been, in my opinion, one of the worst experiences we could ever go through in this life. Because no matter how much we wanted to turn back time and make it up to them, it won't happen anymore. But thankfully, Ms. Ko was given a chance to live again and so are the 3 daughters to make it up to her. How lucky they are, if only lots of people are given such chances then it would have lessen the lonely and regretful people on earth. sigh... but that's just it... that's life. So let's no take anything for granted and live happily with our loved ones as much as we could.

Now that we've unlocked the story behind why Yong Pil's dad became so mad and aloof with Ms. Ko's family, which is because of Bu Mi Ja's sudden death while diving, we kind of understood where he's coming from. However, it's just so wrong to be living in anger for that long and worst, he's tagging his son forcefully in his childish behavior. Like I said in my previous blog post, the pain of losing a loved one is indescribable and it's going to leave a scar in your heart for the rest of your time, however, we cannot just live mourning forever. We also have a life to live so we have to move forward. But if it's your choice, like how Yong Pil's dad is doing it, then we cannot do anything about it anymore, I just hope that he did not tag anyone along with his choices and misery. That's plain selfish! And that's the reason why Yong Pil's sufferings are doubled. Because aside from losing a loved one, he's forcefully stopping from moving on by his own father. That's so absurd! Ugh!

We all know that Sam Dal and Yong Pil love each other. They're even matched to be a couple by their own mothers since they were a baby! lol They are just really caught up in a very complicated situation, at least that's what their parents are putting them in. Geez, I hope they'll be able to learn to fight for their love this time, because if they'll wait till their parents to settle everything then their love would all be left in vain. Their love is really beautiful, it'll be a waste if it won't ever happen again. Let's see, if Yong Pil and Sam Dal would be able to go against their parents... it'll be tough though... considering that Ms. Ko is also having a heart disease. It'll be a challenge not to upset her this time. Waaah!

Anyways, our Sam Dal and Yong Pil are sharing a kiss after 8 years. Aside from Sam Dal being drunk again, what was it for Yong Pil? He's sobber and kissing her back, what was it for?! Ah, seriously, I actually understand why Sam Dal is wary of Yong Pil. The girl is still in love with him, and she's trying to control her feelings from exploding again when she spent her whole life in isolation just to cage it all deep in her heart. And then there's Yong Pil shaking her heart and world again, what should we expect Sam Dal to react? She knew they couldn't go against their parents' will, she knew Yong Pil cannot fight. So, what's the point of relying on him again this time? Sigh... Yong Pil's warmheartedness and thoughtfulness could really make anyone fall for him, but it's all a waste if he cannot fight for love.

It's true that all this time, Yong Pil may looked like he's the only one sacrificing in the relationship between him and Sam Dal but I actually understand Sam Dal why she's being cautious around Yong Pil. She's just afraid that she'll fell hard again, she's afraid to rely on him and when she's all over him again.. she'll end up all alone just like the last time they broke up. Sam Dal knew that Yong Pil couldn't muster up the courage to go against his dad, and so is she against her mom. Sigh... I wouldn't want to start a relationship with someone who couldn't fight for me at all. It's all messed up! Now that they've shared a kiss, will this help to give them courage to fight for their love this time?! I hope so.

Shin Hae Sun and the Whole Village Cried Help For Kim Mi Kyung In Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 8

Holy fudge this episode was so heart wrenching that I ended up in a crying mess. Waaah! Ms. Ko, why did you even went on a dive after feeling unwell? There's really something about old people, our parents and grandparents, they're so stubborn with their health. They feel like they're still so young yet their bodies tell them otherwise. They will only listen to the advises of people around them and to their own bodies once they experienced a life and death situation. But that is, if they survived that life and death situation... there are  lot of people who don't survive at all!  Sigh... and we're also talking about the traitor disease which is a heart attack! That's a ticking bomb! Ugh!

The scene wherein in Jin Dal, Sam Dal, Hae Dal and their father ran towards the sea shore screaming for Ms. Ko, my tears were already shedding non-stop. huhu! It was indeed a great scene how to portray their characters' fear of losing a love of their lives. Even the father of Yong Pil, I was really getting mad at him but the moment the ambulance passed through him as well as hearing out Ms. Ko's name chanted by Gyeong Tae's mom, he instantly forgot his anger and concern washed over him. It made me cry even more. Why are humans have to be so stupid like this?! We tend to take advantage of the people who's kind and loving to us, we became so comfortable of their existence that we tend to ignore them most of the time. But when they're already in that life and death situation, that's only when we'll realize that we did something wrong. Sigh... if only this can be taught in school how to not take advantage of our loved ones then... we might have prevented this often.

But then again, I see all of this as not a fault of one side at all. It's true that Sam Dal and the sisters has shortcomings when it comes to giving attention to their mother especially her health but what can they do? they also have a life of their own. Just because they couldn't provide that much detailed attention on their mother/loved one, doesn't mean they do not care. It's just that, they are also caught up in their own problems because they are also living the life of their own. If I were to look at it on a wider perspective, Ms. Ko shouldn't have taken advantage of her own health first, and also should have listened to her instinct and experience in reading about the bad weather, because if she listened to her body, her husband's warning and to her instincts then all of this wouldn't have happened.

Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hae Sun's Parents Are Against Their Relationship In Welcome to Samdal-Ri Episode 7

See?! My suspicions were right in my previous blog posts about Yong Pil and Sam Dal's parents having feud and might have been the reason for their break up in the past. I haven't seen episode 8 yet so I am not sure about the details of why the parents have created friction with each other but I think it has something to do with Yong Pil's mother's death. In the previous episode, it was shown that Yong Pil and Sam Dal's moms were best of friends, they are both divers in the village. So, I already knew even before that it might have been the cause of Yong Pil's mother's death. And that's how Yong Pil's father kept blaming Sam Dal's family and even after years that gone by, the anger hasn't dissipate one bit.
To lose someone you love because of sudden death, it's really painful and very hard to accept so I understand where Yong Pil's father's anger came from. He needed someone to blame in order to, somewhat, diminish the pain but we all know that it's all wrong. But we cannot just really tell someone that's mourning to stop all this sht and just move on quickly... it's really hard but yeah... we cannot get stuck in this painful situation all our lives. We cannot bring back the dead, no matter how much we want to or how much painful it is without them, we need to move forward because there's no other way. That's the sad truth, the reality we have to live in. Yong Pil's father can mourn for how long he wants to, if that's his choice, but at least try not to involve his child and Sam Dal from it anymore. He's a grown up man, I expect him to be wiser and suck it all up by now. It's been so long after all. He needs to stop being so selfish for once for his only son, Yong Pil. Ugh.

I really love Yong Pil's character, like.. really really! BUT! Sometimes his kindness and selflessness irk me at times. If only he has the guts to fight for whatever it is on his way in loving the love of his life, then I wouldn't really get irritated like this to him... because... what can we do with all his great ideal traits for a lover or human being overall if he's a total papa or mama's boy? I do get it, he doesn't want to leave his dad all alone now because their mom is gone... but heck.. Yong Pil is sacrificing his self, his happiness and love in this kind of situation. Truth be told and it might sound a little off or heartless but.. Yong Pil is also aging... he needs a partner, obviously he wants to be with Sam Dal, and so.. he needs to act it out! FGS!! Geez... man up, yong pil please! fight for your love against your dad by having the guts to explain to him that it wasn't their fault that his mother is gone.

Ji Chang Wook's Dream Is For Shin Hae Sun's Dreams Come True In Welcome To Samdal-ri Episode 6

To make a person become your dream would really be heart fluttering for romance but in reality and in our modern society, this would would make Yong Pil looked like a laid back person and to many people who cares for status and all that ain't really good. But who cares, Yong Pil is just that and this is a rom com drama so let's leave him be. Kkkk kidding aside, if I were to dig deep about Yong Pil's personality, I could still see how he's responsible despite putting others before himself. He has a job, helps the community in completing their tasks when he's available, he cooks at home and above all these, he has time to mingle with his loved ones like friends, family and other town's people. As long as Yong Pil is enjoying what he's doing, then that's what really matters. I think that's what makes him invincible and happy. Who cares what other people think? He's admirable with his contentment and passion for helping out Sam Dal and his mother in achieving their dreams. I'd love to have a Yong Pil in my life. Sam Dal surely is lucky.

This about Yong Pil, however, is in contrast with Sam Dal's dreams. Sam Dal wants to become big so she wants to be out of the town and work hard like a dog instead of being comfortable. Lots of people in our modern society could relate to her. Those who wants to work in the city and earn a lot of experiences and money became fulfilling to them. To become someone so that no one would make fun of their status in life. It's understandable, some people really find it hard not to think about what other people say especially when you grow up in a town where everybody loves to gossip. Ugh. I hate those people. I think this contrast plays a huge role in Sam Dal and Yong Pil's relationship why they separate ways in the end. I'm so curious about it.

Let's talk about Sam Dal's hard work throughout achieving her dreams. Look at her struggles! She was treated poorly but it was all part of the journey, she understood that it's better to push through all obstacles because at the end of the day, it was all for her to learn how things are in her field! So I fully understood why she couldn't comprehend why her btch of an assistant is acting the way she is towards her. Stupid assistant, she really irks me so much! She felt like she already knew about their field but she's way too inexperienced and needed more to learn! Sam Dal knew what she's doing in training her assistant because she's been there, she knew what it is that she had to learn first! Sam Dal knew how competitive the world is in their field and that she needs to excel in order to shine but that wouldn't be achieved if she'll go hasty about her training. Sigh... Stupid assistant, she can be happy for a short while for stealing someone else's work but time will come that she'll discover how inexperienced she still is in comparison to the other competitors in their field. Sigh.

Shin Hae Sun Reconciled With Her Friends After A Misunderstanding In Episode 5

This is such a wonderful and heartwarming episode where it showcased how lucky one person can be when you have real good friends. True ones, for that matter. True friends where they'll choose to stay in your life during the good and the bad times. Life is definitely much more worth living when you're surrounded by such people. I hope everyone, including me, will have such wonderful treasure in this lifetime just like Cho Sam Dal.

4 guys and 1 girl, this means war when the only girl in the group gets bullied by another person especially outside their circle. Oh boy, that reporter surely got unlucky meeting 4 of Sam Dal's friends in their town. Thanks to the police officer also for being fair to Sam Dal with her concerns about the sh*thead of a reporter. Ugh. Seriously, I know that it is a reporter's job to get huge scoops in order for them to have a greater value in the field that they're in but still, they should at least still remain human at all times. It seemed like some reporters aka Ahn Kang Hyun lost their humanity and dignity in digging up scoops by invading their subject's private life. It's awful that there's such kind of reporter or just person in general to do such things especially to those who are already having a hard time with their current situation like Sam Dal.

But anyways, on the brighter side, Sam Dal finally was able to witness the sincerity and concern of her friends with how they saved her from that reporter's intent to ruin her more. It was indeed such a beautiful scene but at the same time infuriating because of the reporter. Thanks to this encounter though, Sam Dal and her friends are in good terms again.

As for the other characters, you know what? I think I'm liking the strong sister/eldest sister more and more. She's hilarious and just so easy to watch! This actress really suits her role. hahaha!

Shin Hae Sun And Ji Chang Wook Fell In Love With Each Other's Craziness In Welcome To Samdal-ri Episode 4

My favorite scene in episode 4 is definitely the seaweed fight between Sam Dal and Yong Pil. Bwahahaha! I really laughed out loud how desperate they were individually to win the fight. Kkk they're so childish and silly, I love them both. They both fell in love with each other's craziness so I assume that if they keep doing this, they would eventually fall back to each other. Well, having a glimpse of their past relationship and how they react to each other right now, it seemed like Sam Dal and Yong Pil didn't really want to break up in the past at all. There seems to be some kind of misunderstanding or perhaps someone else involved (not a third party tho) that led to breaking up unintentionally.

After watching episode 4, I already have a theory that Sam Dal's mother and Yong Pil's father has something to do with the breakup. Let's connect the dots... Remember the flashback scene where Yong Pil messaged Sam Dal through phone saying that he wanted to break up with her? And then shift forward to the present, the scene where Sam Dal heard the people talking to Yong Pil. She overheard them about how, she, Sam dal dumped Yong Pil in the past which wasn't the truth she knew at all. The events were contradicting and then the scene where Sam Dal's mother stumbled upon Yong Pil's father, they both ended up in an awkward situation. Ain't that fishy?! My theory here is that, Yong Pil's father might have something to do with the break up. I'm also suspicious that Sam Dal's mother knew about it and so she let her go to Seoul to find herself and move on from the heartbreak. Hmmm... what do you think? Again, this is just my theory... I could be wrong..

Anyways, I see a lot of people on my Facebook page, who are giving up on this show as they found it slow and boring. But as for me, I think it was all great. The drama portrays deep meaning about life in general, it's what excites me the most. Come on guys, we're only at episode 4 and it's themed to be a healing drama. What do you guys expect it to be? Fast paced, action-packed drama? Geez, you're in a wrong genre my friends. I understood that we all have different preferences on story telling, but so far... it's all good to me.

As you can you see, this episode right now is reminding us that no matter what we do, people will always have a say about us. This is why we should please ourselves not other people so we could do a lot of great things in our lives. We should focus on ourselves instead and do whatever it is we wanted to pursue and do in this lifetime.

Shin Hae Sun Breaks Down In Front of her Friends In Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 3

Back-to-back dramas starring actresses Kim Yoo Jung from My Demon and Shin Hae Sun from Welcome to Samdal-ri?! Gosh, that is definitely golden! I am currently watching both dramas and these actresses knew what they're doing. They're definitely talented but looking back at their excellent past projects, experience honed them to the best actresses that they've become today. You know, actors/actresses who know how to convey emotions to the viewers without exaggeration and awkwardness, like it's just natural phenomenon that we're all watching, that's what I call best in the acting field. Okay, my personal preference I'd say? But I know a lot of you would also agree with me on that. These 2 are awesome in their own ways, different genres but same impact on how they acted out their character's emotions. 100% grade from me.

Now let's talk about episode 3 of Welcome to Samdal-ri. Ahh.. seriously, that last scene made my cold heart warm again. lol Gosh.. I don't personally know the extent of how painful it is for Sam Dal going through such kind of difficulty in her life since I haven't been in that similar situation where the whole world is against her, but to witness what happened to her, my sympathy goes overboard for her. Ugh. It's so effin' unfair, life is so unfair to her. Yeah, she has that huge dream of her living in Seoul, she has that personal choice of not wanting to go back to Jeju. She's been living the dream that she chased after a very long time, it took a lot of struggles and hardships, lots of tears and effort, so... why does the universe make her feel like she's been wrong the whole time by making her experience such situation?

Hmmm... I really do have a lot of questions for the universe but looking at it in a much more open-minded perspective... maybe that's just how it is. One person can never be right all throughout her life. We're all humans who doesn't know how to live life correctly. Universe is like our parents, it knows how we're truly living.. it knows what mistake should be corrected. It's hard to understand at first, but in the case of Sam Dal, I hope she would be able to find how to navigate through all these. And perhaps figure it out what it is that the universe is trying to tell her.

Ain't it amazing? To ponder about life in general just by watching a good Kdrama? Hahaha! I hope you are all enjoying what you're watching guys, because I definitely am. This is my cup of tea, for sure.

Samdal finally having a reunion/breakdown with her guy friends surely is memorable. Sigh... they all have great chemistry and bond with one another, but misunderstandings are inevitable even with such smooth friendship. I fully understood Gyeong Tae's words and what he's trying to tell about failure...but for Sam Dal to hear such is very much inappropriate. Gaaah! I really hope they would iron things out again. I hope Sam Dal could take her pride down a little bit and start to fully trust her real friends. The way I see it, her 4 male friends are genuine. I hope she'll be able to see that and she'll be able to find comfort from them.
