Kim Hee Sun Retaliates Yeon Woo's Plans by Revealing Her Identity to the Public in Bittersweet Hell Episode 11

Moon Tae Oh, who's real name is Oh Tae Hwan, was finally arrested in the residence of No Yeong Won. No Yeong Won purposely lured Tae Oh with Do Hyun for the police to capture him successfully. Thanks to Jae Jin, Young Min and his friend Sung Jae, they were able to stop Tae Oh from escaping the residence after losing his temper at Yeong Won for revealing the truth about his identity.

Just like Se Na, Tae Oh holds a grudge towards Yeong Won because he blames her for his family's death. After Tae Oh's mother received counselling from Yeong Won, Tae Oh's mother wanted to eliminate her husband for being the root cause of the family's difficulty. However, her plans failed and ended up being killed by the husband instead. Tae Oh witnessed the death of his family before his eyes as his father all family member's lives except from him. He was awake the whole time and it's the reason why he was able to escape and become the sole survivor of the family. Seems like the father took his own life too.

Se Na and Tae Oh become accomplices in taking revenge towards No Yeong Won. Tae Oh was made to gaslight Do Hyun by Se Na, it was all going smoothly but not until Do Hyun confessed his sexuality to his mom.  This means, Tae Oh no longer has something to hold against Do Hyun and he failed miserably with his mission. With that, Se Na took action and planned to make Yeong Won become the suspect in killing An Yo Sub in their rest house. However Tae Oh made a move that Se Na wasn't aware of and that leads her plans crumbling. Se Na was angered by it and the reason why he framed up Tae Oh for killing Yo Sub instead. Yep, she put all the blame at Tae Oh and make him become the real suspect. With Tae Oh arrested, the novelist Hong Sa Gang got free from the prison.

Se Na made another plan and continues to make Yeong Won miserable. This time she gaslighted Oh Ji Eun to reveal the truth about Jae Jin's ghost doctor case. The public knew about it and Se Na made Yeong Won do press conference and read aloud the script she has prepared for her. At first, that's what Yeong Won did, she read the script aloud only to reveal that it was made by Se Na who was threatening her for a long time now. Yeong Won made it public about Se Na's evil doings and that's how she fights now with her. The whole world is now helping Yeong Won capture her and it made Se Na even more challenged in making Yeong Won's life miserable. And so, Se Na captured Yeong Won's only child Do Hyun as her hostage to hold against her.

Sheesh! We're near the end now! Only 1 episode left!!! I'm excited for it and hopeful that we'll receive a satisfying and best ending.

Ji Sung's Secret was Already Found Out by Another Detective in Connection Episode 11

In episode 11, the identity of the 'doctor' was known because Gong Jin Wook contacted him to ask for help to flee the country to China to sell the Lemon Mulberry. After the death of CEO Yoon, no client wants to buy and sell any longer. In here, the identity of Sang Eui as the doctor became known to us viewers.

Jin Wook, handed over 2 valuable things to him. Jae Gyeong's gun as well as a USB which we don't know yet what it contains. Although I have an assumption that a video of Jae Gyeong getting drugged was in there. I'm hella scared for Jae Gyeong now, tbh. Detective Kyung Hwan, who's in contact with Tae Jin, also found out about him being drugged already via another arrested addict, Dae Sung. A little time is left for our protagonist, Jae Gyeong now! Waa!

Now lets go back with Sang Eui being the 'doctor'. Tbh, now that I saw everything, anyone in Jong Soo's group can become the 'doctor'. Jong Soo's group is the manufacturer and the dealer of Lemon Mulberry and since everyone in the group functions as one, the doctor can be anyone when the other is unavailable. In the previous episode, Gong Jin Wook mentioned that the voice of the 'doctor' that he's talking with over the phone was different from the last call he had received. I assume it was Jun Seo dealing with him at that time, but since Jun Seo is now dead, it's Sang Eui the researcher who became the doctor.

However, I think that, Jong Soo and Chi Hyun are unaware of the shared account of Tae Jin and Jun Seo. According to Jae Gyeong, the said account may contain the money from selling Lemon Mulberry. The reason why Tae Jin is so confident in becoming an investor for the Pilo-dong project is that he has that account that contains a lot of money. Since Jong Soo didn't know about it, I have assumed that Tae Jin has other transactions dealing with the Lemon Mulberry that only Jun Seo and Sang Eui knew about. Hmmm... this is getting complicated but really exciting on who's the one who really killed Jun Seo.

Sang Eui seems to be living a 2 faced life. One who's taking orders like a pushover from Jong Soo's group and one who's having plans of his own. Sang Eui is backstabbing the group for sure. He gave a recording of the group's meeting, where they thought about eliminating Yoon Ho, to Yoon Ho himself. And that's how Yoon Ho had known from Sang Eui also that Tae Jin is in accomplice with Ji Yeon in killing Jun Seo... that Ji Yeon has the evidence in killing him. Sheesh...

Kim Hee Seon and Lee Hye Young Face Yeon Woo in Bitter Sweet Hell Episodes 1-10 | Quick Review

Bitter Sweet Hell revolves around the life of No Yeong Won (Kim Hee Seon) who is a psychology consultant that's running a television program. The said tv program discusses about different family issues wherein Yeong Won professionally and confidently gives advice to resolve the family issues raised. Because of this, Dr. No attracted psychopaths who wanted to prove her wrong. They were challenged to make her realize that her advices do not apply to everyone and they convey this disagreement to her in a destructible way.

Lee Se Na (Yeon Woo) is a psychopath young lady who's targeting No Yeong Won and her family. She first introduced herself at Yeong Won's clinic as a patient who's in a complicated relationship with a man older than her. When Yeong Won's father-in-law died and Se Na was crying at his funeral, Yeong Won instantly believed that Se Na was another mistress of her father-in-law. The attack to Dr. No and her family begun when she received a package from an anonymous sender. It contains a fake beheaded pigeon and a photo of Dr. No's family members with numbers indicating the order of their lies to be revealed.

Warning, spoiler ahead!!

1st was the father-in-law, Go Myeon (Kwon Hae Hyo). His dirty secret was revealed by Se Na and it was about a past incident involving No Yeong Won's father. It turned out that the father in law was the one who framed Yeong Won's father to become an offender in a sexual harassment case which leads for her dad to suicide.

2nd target of Se Na was Dr. No's husband. She first introduced herself to him as a patient to his clinic too and instantly asked for a dinner. It turns out later in the drama, Se Na gaslighted Jae Jin and make him fake a death to escape his suffocating family. His secret was that, he is a doctor that's afraid of bloods which means he has a ghost doctor to do surgeries for him.

3rd was the mom-in-law, Hong Sa Gang (Lee Hye Young). She's a writer of books which themes are about crime. Se Na's ideas in threatening and killing people are based on her books. Sa Gang may seem like a witch that's controlling of everything but she's a woman that only wants to protect her family. Her secret was that Jae Jin wasn't her biological child. Jae Jin was a baby from the mistress of the father-in-law. Yep, he's a disgusting womanizer. ew.

4th is Dr. No's child, Do Hyun (Jae Chan). He was being gaslighted by another psychopath named Moon Tae Oh. Turns out that Tae Oh was recruited by Se Na to take revenge against Dr. No's family. His secret was that he's gay.

5th one would be No Yeong Won. The secret is yet to be revealed in the last 2 episodes of this drama. Waaah!

Yep, there are only 2 episode left! About time it ends because I'm already stressed with the turn of events in here especially towards Se Na and Tae Oh.. They make my blood boil in anger! They needed to be stopped and get punished by law.

Ji Sung's Latest Drama Connection Achieves and All time High Nationwide Viewership Ratings with Episode 10

The Saturday episode 10 of Connection achieved an 11.1% in the nationwide viewership ratings. They finally hit that double digits in the ratings and it's their highest rating so far! They weren't really joking when they said that if there's Ji Sung in a drama then it means it'll get a high rating. Turns out to be true!

There are only 4 episodes left with this drama and after episode 10, everything seemed to become a lot clearer now. I really have a huge feeling that the mastermind of it all is non other than Tae Jin. Like I said in my previous blog posts for this series, it is Tae Jin who is serves to be the brain of Jong Soo's group which means... everything begins with him. Even Yoon Ho, the criminal taxi driver, was pointing at him about it. Jae Kyeong is also looking at him like that too... so it's only a matter of time that he'll get discovered!

Yoon Jin, wanting to get half of the money from Jun Seo's account with Tae Jin, she confidently made a deal with Tae Jin using the password that she discovered Jun Seo was using till now, however it turned out to be a wrong one. This triggered Tae Jin's true nature come to light. There were only 10 times where he can try putting the right password and he only has 1 left since Yoon Jin's password were not correct. Tae Jin got angered and strangled Yoon Jin by the neck due to his frustrations. Thankfully, Yoon Jin got saved by Joo Song from him. Anyways, we got to see how capable Tae Jin really is in killing people so I wouldn't be shocked if he's the one behind Jun Seo's death.

Meanwhile, as Jae Kyeong investigate further on the Lemon Mulberry case, he found out about CEO Yoon's hideout but unfortunately, Yoon was already dead. Jae Kyeong was persistent in getting an answer from her as to why she drugged him but she died before she could even speak. The police then took over the scene and arrested Yoon's people. One of the arrested people recognizes Chang Soo very well and so, Chang Soo tried to eliminate him by driving off the cliff with this man. In the end, Chang Soo survived and the arrested man was unconscious. Jae Kyeong was suspicious of what had happened though. It wouldn't be long now, Chang Soo would get busted. But I'm afraid that when he gets arrested, he will talk about Jae Kyeong's addiction by then. Waaaah!

Deuk Pal Continue on Living His Life as Yi Heon in High School Return of a Gangster Episode 8

High School Return of a Gangster ended last night and boy the ending was surely made to be unforgettable. Deuk Pal's soul remain in Yi Heon's body because original Yi Heon has no will to live anymore in this world. When we asked for a happy ending, what exactly is it that we wanted? I bet most of us were also saddened by this decision made by original Yi Heon at the end but at the same time, we're happy for Deuk Pal. We liked Yi Heon after all because Deuk Pal lived his life with his own cool ways. So was that considered a happy ending for us? That really made me think.

Anyways, I guess no matter how the ending turned out to be, whether Yi Heon came back to his body or not, we'd still get that sadness for sure. But let's take it in a way where Yi Heon himself asked Deuk Pal to stay in his body and live with it for us to easily accept his heavy decision without us feeling guilty or sad about it. kkk What can we do, he doesn't want to go back anymore. Also, everyone who made Yi Heon to leave the world apologized and took responsibility of their actions towards him like Jae Min and Se Kyung. I'm pretty sure that original Yi Heon is contented with that.

Good news is, now that Deuk Pal officially owns the body of Yi Heon, I am looking forward for another season to come out of this series. Seriously, this one is a really good drama. The characters were just a few but they were well written that each character development were very touching and unforgettable. Jae Min's character development among others was my favorite one. He's a manifestation that anyone could change their lives for the better. It's just a matter of taking the right choice and making an action towards it is the key. I love that even though he was so scared of going to juvie that he even begged Yi Heon to do not involve him in the investigation, he still took responsibility of his wrong doings in the end. I guess it's a must in order to turn over a new leaf. That's it, Jae Min. Well done!

As for Se Kyung, it's so funny to me that the 'true nature' that he was talking about was actually about him being two faced. Acting kind with everyone when in reality he hates all of them. And here we are thinking that his true nature was being gay. LOL We're so stubborn, they already said there's no BL in here why did we even think of inserting that gayness in Se Kyung's form? hahaha! Oh well, that aside, I'm glad that he's able to stand up for himself against his dad and that basketball guy.

8 episodes surely is very short but to me, it felt so right. I think the flow of story turned out to be very interesting because it is compacted to only just 8 episodes. I wouldn't want it longer if it'll become boring in the end. But would I ask for season 2? Definitely YES! I'd love to see Yi Heon, Se Kyung and Jae Min reunion again as well as seeing Dong Soo and Jong Cheol live a better life too.

Yes, it's now part of my HIGHLY RECOMMENDED kdrama! Go check it out if you haven't seen that show! It's worth your time!

Ji Sung is Close to Unveiling the Truth in Connection Episode 8

Kim Chang Soo has connections with CEO Yoon! My goodness! He even took the bribery from her. I can't trust Chang Soo anymore now that I've witnessed their interaction. I was trying to believe that he'll be one of ae Kyeong's truest allies but I was so wrong! Anyways, on the bright side, it seemed like the truth is now coming into light slowly as Jae Kyeong finds the connection of the recent Pilo Dong Mill murder to Jun Seo's murder case. His high school friends, Jong Soo, Tae Jin, Chi Hyun, Jung Sang Eui and Yoon Ho are going to be on a tight spot real soon! Finally something that will humble these arrogant people! Just because they have lots of money they can do everything in their power already. That's just insane!

Yoon Ho, the taxi driver that killed the man at Pilo Dong Mill, he really pisses me off with his annoying face. Whenever he's about to do something horrible, I can already feel my blood boiling.. well, just him simply popping into my screen just annoys me so much already. hahaha! He's just way too arrogant and I want that stripped off of his face by Jae Kyeong putting him in jail. If ever Jae Kyeong finally did that, we need to get some confession from him first on what exactly happened to Jun Seo. Aside from the fact that Jong Soo is using the Lemon Mulberry, we need to disclose something more into it. If I'm going to be honest, I think Jong Soo is the type that won't kill at all...but since he's into drugs, I could end up wrong reading his character. I think Tae Jin, Chi Hyun are more prone to doing bad things though. They are Jong Soo's brain and doer after all. Yoon Ho obviously wanted to fit in to Jong Soo's group so he'll do anything, I won't be surprised if he's the one who killed Jun Seo in the end too.

Catching Up with Signal Kdrama | Episodes 1-8 | Lee Je Hoon, Cho Jin Woong, Kim Hye Soo

I finally finished watching the first half of Signal and I'm here to tell you how it went for me before I continue watching it. For those who haven't watch the drama then this is a sign for you to go and try it because it's really not your ordinary action drama where prosecutors solve cases ordinarily. It got some twist that connects Lee Jae Han (Cho Jin Woong) from the different time in the past and Park Hae Young (Lee Je Hoon) in the present. Through a walkie talkie owned by Lee Jae Han, the two were able to communicate and solve cold cases.

Park Hae Young and Lee Jae Han, together for the first time, mysteriously was able to communicate in solving the kidnapping case of Kim Yoon Jung. Hae Young was classmates with Yoon Jung, he witnessed the prime suspect of the kidnapping to be a woman and not a man. It means that the police got the wrong suspect for long 15 long years and that the real one is living her life in luxury in the present. But it all went well in the end with the help of another competitive detective named Cha Soo Hyun (Kim Hye Soo).

When the team of Cha Soo Hyun together with Park Hae Young solved this cold case, it raised a turmoil in the police as it proved the incompetence of the previous police and that the public now demands to reopen some unsolved cases years ago. Because of this, the higher ups of the police were angered and so it became the reason why the Cold Case Team was born. This team includes Ahn Chi Soo (Jung Hae Kyun) as their team leader, Cha Soo Hyun, Park Hae Young, Kim Gye Chul (Kim Won Hae) and Jung Hun Gi (Lee Yoo Joon). Park Hae Young still communicates with Lee Jae Han from the past throughout solving cases so he was able to dig through some information that leads their team to success.

Some mystery stayed unknown even after the 1st half of this series like, what exactly happened to Lee Jae Han in the present and what's the mystery behind the walkie talkie that connects the past and present? I seriously am enjoying this drama.. I rarely watch completed drama for the reason that it's addictive, time consuming and causes my eyes to become dry and painful in the end which leads to headache. lol I don't like the feeling but I will make an exception for Singal Kdrama since you guys recommended it to me and for the fact that it really is so good!

Jong Jae Kwang is the One Covering for Ji Sung's Complicated Situation In Connection Episode 6

Episode 6, Jae Kyeong asked his addict prisoner to contact the dealer of Lemon Mulberry pills and the whole team executed a buy bust operation. Jae Kyeong accompanied the addict to meet the dealer and have a transaction but the dealer tested out Jae Kyeong whether he really is one of them or not. They injected a drug in Jae Kyeong's body without any resistance from him and after successfully injecting it, the dealers proceeded with their transaction with them. However, the prisoner addict revealed Jae Kyeong's identity and run away with the pills that were supposed to be bought by the police to execute their buy bust operation but thankfully the police were fast enough to catch everyone including the dealers.

It turned out also that it was indeed Chang Soo who's covering up for Jae Kyeong. I'm so glad about it if Chang Soo is really looking out for Jae Kyeong but not if he's one with CEO Yoon. I hope he really is on the good side trying to protect Jae Kyeong till they catch everyone behind the Lemon Mulberry and Jun Seo's murder case. After then, Chang Soo may do whatever he has to do with Jae Kyeong under the state's law.

On the other hand, as reporter Yoon Jin digs about Park Bok Rae's death due to medical malpractice, she founds out about the medicine that was given to Park Bok Rae was from Keumhyung Pharmaceutical and it was Park Jun Seo who paid Park Bok Rae's son to be silent about the whole death of his mother. Another thing that Yoon Jin digged about is Tae Jin and Ji Yeon's affair. They are seeing each other but obviously, Tae Jin wanted to gain a passcode from Ji Yeon. He promised her to divorce his current wife to elope with her. Ji Yeon was acting smart with him after giving that divorce first before getting the passcode. They're both trash for being cheaters. I bet Ji Yeon cheated even before her husband Jun Seo died. Disgusting woman. ew!

Anyways, everything seemed to be connecting now. The murder case of Jun Seo is definitely connected with the lemon mulberry. I won't be surprised if some drug transactions were being done in the labs of Jong Soo's Keumhyung Pharmaceutical company. Sheesh!

It's a Happy Ending for Jang Ki Yong and Chun Woo Hee in The Atypical Family Episode 12 | Finale

Gwiju went back to the past 13 years ago to save Da Hae but it was after I-na's special school event where she performed with her friends in front of everyone. It turned out that the fire in Bok mom's dream started from the school event to which Dong Hee also flew to help preventing the fire to escalate faster. The coward and good for nothing Ji Han was the one who accidentally started the fire. He was trying to pursue Dong Hee back to him again but to no luck, he got declined. I-na was then trapped at the backstage of the performance hall, she was trying to look for another exit to save herself and Hyerim. It was Da Hae who saw her first and when the fire strengthened and some structures weakened, the partition almost fell at them if it weren't for Gwiju to the rescue. In the end, Gwiju made a grand sacrifice in holding the partition for Da Hae and his daughter to escape the fire. When they got out, he was trapped and the partition was seen to have fallen to his body and that's how he went back to the past again. When Gwiju went back to the past 13 years ago, the saving and ring giving happened but that's also where he got stuck.

At the last scene of this episode, we found out that Da Hae has given birth to a boy named Bok Nuri. He is the younger brother of I-na now and the son of Gwiju. Considering that he's a Bok, he has a super power and it turned out that he can bring something/someone from the past to continue existing in the present. And that's how all this became a happy ending!!! WAAAAAH! It's so effin' cool! Thank goodness Nuri was born or else we wouldn't get this happy ending that we all deserve!

They Atypical Family is one of the best Kdramas of 2024 with only 12 episodes, tbh. You know what? This is probably why a lot of dramas lately are shortened into only 12 episodes instead of the usual 16, it's better this way where every episode is treated to be special as it's compacted with a lot of IMPORTANT events. Not like in 'some' Kdramas where there are 16 episodes but has so many fillers that aren't even essential to the flow of story. The Atypical Family gave me a new perspective that 12 episodes-kdramas aren't low budgeted projects and badly written plots anymore, they could be something huge like The Atypical Family. Ah I'm gonna miss TAF, this is really my type of drama. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to everyone who's into super powers and mystery.

Jang Ki Yong's Mark on His Neck Appeared, a Sign For Him to Commence His Mission in The Atypical Family Episode 11

Da Hae shared with Gwiju already the dream of his mom about him dying. He was trying to make light of the situation at first but later on when he sees his family happy again after being 'saved' by Da Hae in their respective miseries, his emotions changed. Obviously, he's happy about his family changing but thinking about that dream manifesting into reality, he probably can't help but get worried whether he'll survive it or not. One thing is for sure though, he was happy seeing everyone happy and it'll be his pleasure to die for all of them.

This is exactly what I really am looking for in a Kdrama, tbh. The characters we met from day 1 were also the characters we saw developments to the end. There's no wasted character at all! It's beautiful watching such kind of Kdrama where the story doesn't only revolve around 2 people. This is probably why I loved The Atypical Family, it has that kind of vibe where all characters were used and developed throughout the series.

My favorite character development here was definitely Bok Dong Hee. Girly really did it! She can now fly again and broke free from the words that's weighing her down. It is only herself that restricts her from feeling light after all. Da Hae's fake mom's development was my next favorite, she changed from a scammer to a real mom to Da Hae. She loves her now more than money. Bok mom's development was my 3rd favorite and I-na too! Waaah it's amazing to witness all of them grow and become the best version of themselves. Beautiful!

Anyways, the mark on Gwiju's neck appeared after getting bruised from a stem in the past where he made little Da Hae happy by guiding her in riding a bicycle. When Gwiju came back, he noticed the mark and he exactly knew what it meant. It's a sign for him to come back to the past where Da Hae was stuck in the storage room while the whole school is on fire. I hope that Gwiju would survive this, in the early scenes of this episode, Da Hae told Bok mom that her dreams were really precognitive but it depends on the interpretation the outcome would be. It does not necessarily negative at all. It was Bok mom who thinks her dreams were negative because she treats her powers as a curse. So I believe that, Gwiju will come back and it'll all be a happy ending for everybody.

Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do Works Together to Solve The Case of their Friend In Connection Episode 5

After watching the Burning Sun documentary, it now makes sense to me why a reporter and a prosecutor work together in solving a case. Some tip offs are coming from the reporter and the reporter seeks the prosecutor's help, at least that's what happened in the Burning Sun case. kkk But here, in this drama called Connection where Ji Sung and Jeong Mi Do starred in,  Jae Kyeong and Yoon Jin were highschool friends reunited by an unfortunate death of their common friend Joon Seo. But it is believed that the two were brought together to reveal the truth behind the death of their high school friend.

Joon Seo's will states that his insurance money beneficiaries includes two of his best friends Jae Kyeong and Yoon Jin to which automatically involved the two with his case. Jae Kyeong does not believe that Joon Seo's death was caused by a suicide so he's finding out the real truth through his investigations. However, despite being a prosecutor, Jae Kyeong is having a hard time investigate because he wasn't the lead prosecutor handling the case and that he's also been drugged by an unknown syndicate/suspects.

Jae Kyeong is an ace prosecutor who handles the Narcotics Division Unit in Anhyun Police Station. And because his success rate in catching the bad guys were high, some of the syndicates/drug dealers and users were angered by him which is probably why they made him become one of them which is an addict. This twist is what made the whole thing complicated because, of course, if he's found out then he'll be out of office/position in the prosecution. He's gonna be fired and he wouldn't be able to investigate his friend's death to which he also finds connection with the drug case he's in. The Lemon Mulberry case.

And when you thought everything is complicated, that ain't it yet. The high school friends of Joon Seo, classmates also of the other members of the Audiophile club, might be involved in the case. Obviously, Tae Jin, Jong Soo, Chi Hyun and Yoon Ho are up to something illegal... but we're yet to find out if they are also involved with the Lemon Mulberry. For sure though, they have something to do with the death of Joon Seo! Waaah!

Jang Ki Yong Is Lost Without Chun Woo Hee In The Atypical Family Episode 10

We're nearing finale! Only 2 episodes left for this drama now and my theories said in the previous blog post I made manifested now in the drama. Hyeong Tae was on point with his question to Da Hae, what will happen to Da Hae if Gwiju fails to save her 13 years ago? Will she vanish? Well, even if there's no answers given by mouth, obviously there's one main purpose as to why Gwiju will need to travel back to the past and save her and that's what Hyeong Tae had said. Because if none then this whole thing is going to end up so stupid. hahaha! I mean, Gwiju can just stay forever with Da Hae in the present anyway so why need to go back if there's no reason right? kkk

Since Bok mom's dreams were known to the family except for Gwiju, Da Hae tried to prevent it from happening. She planned to ruin Gwiju to do not make him go back to the past and save her that will only cause his death. Da Hae planned everything with Hyeong Tae in making a car accident looked so real, it's to make Gwiju believe that Da Hae died from that car accident. However, with the help of I-na, Gwiju was able to find out where Da Hae was hiding and eventually learned about her reasons why she did such a thing. There, at the seaside, Gwiju and Da Hae reunited with a kiss.

My favorite character of this drama is actually I-na and the fact that Hyeong Tae is getting attached with I-na is just so cute to me. This big guy's heart softens for I-na after stalking her from a distance and reporting to Il Hong. As he witness her life before his eyes, he became sympathetic with her. They suddenly feel like real uncle-niece at this point. That's why when I-na seek for Hyeong Tae's help regarding the whereabouts of Da Hae, Hyeong Tae hesitated at first but later on told her about it through his mind. Yep, he knew about the mind-reading powers of I-na.

Jang Ki Yong Is Determined To Save Chun Woo Hee No Matter What the Consequences May Be In The Atypical Family Episode 9

I was right from the start that Gwiju needed to save Da Hae from the past in order to continue on existing in the present. Saving her does not have anything to do in saving his senior colleague during the fire too. Meaning, when Gwiju said he will save Da Hae from the fire incident, he was not using her to save another man but it was to save her. Gwiju cannot alter the outcome of the past at all and since Da Hae is already existing in the present, it means that he was not altering anything but actually living up to what had already happened. It's like re-living Da Hae's past, that's what Gwiju is currently doing. Da Hae's past is Gwiju's future and that future is what Bok mom is dreaming about.

That's the confusion starts again though. If Gwiju is only reliving the past of Da Hae, why would Bok mom dream about Gwiju dying from that fire incident? Perhaps there's some misunderstanding in the dream though that is what we're about to find out. If ever Gwiju really dies then was he the sacrifice for Da Hae to live in the present? I doubt it though.. I really feel like this is going to head over a happy ending. Da Hae is after all, the savior of the Bok family as first stated by Gwiju's mom before.

Anyways, best scene for me in this episode is that Gwiju and I-na finally got to have a confrontation. All this time, I-na thought that it was her fault why her mom died from that car accident in the past. I-na unintentionally read her mom's negative thoughts about I-na's existance, that she should've not been born on that day, and when I-na read it aloud the mom got surprised and became the reason why they got them into a car accident. It wasn't a suicide just like what those people are commenting on my Facebook page are theorizing before. I-na even called herself a monster for having mind-reading powers to which Gwiju opposes very quickly. I-na coming into his life was still his happiest memory and I'm so happy that it was all clear with I-na. They can start anew again and live happily as a family... hopefully with Da Hae real soon.
