I Got My Like Water Albums!!!

I finally got my Like Water albums and I was like the happiest Wendy fan ever that day. I pre-ordered my albums on March 24 (based on my email to local shop/distributor) and after more than 3 months I finally got it! The long wait is definitely over for my Like Water albums. The albums arrived June 7 (Monday) and that was a rainy day! I could still remember that while I was unboxing the albums, the rain was really heavy that time. And I also remembered how Wendy told that it was also raining when she recorded 'When This Rain Stops', I know it was all just a coincidence but I feel like it was all connected. My fate and Wendy's are connected, we're meant to be! lol Yes, crazy fan over here.

WENDY's Like Water MV On Youtube Reaches 1 Million Likes In Just 25 Days | Fastest Record For SM Female Soloist Yet

On April 30, not only we received good news about Spotify picking Wendy as South Korea's representative for EQUAL campaign, Wendy's Like Water music video also reached 1 million likes on YouTube in just 25 days. Like Water was released April 5 and by the end of April with 10 million views, it already achieved 1 million likes. This made Wendy as the fastest SM female soloist to achieve this milestone! 

WENDY Became The First Chosen Artist To Represent South Korea For Spotify's EQUAL Campaign

On April 30, Spotify launches EQUAL Global Music Program as part of EQUAL hub, a project that is committed to fostering equity for women in music globally. 

EQUAL campaign is about acknowledging women's representation and contribution in the music industry and their goal is to amplify the work of women creators by extending their resources and generating more opportunities for them. With that, they choose women to represent various countries every month and collect all their songs into one playlist on Spotify to connect with every listeners across the globe.

WENDY is the first artist chosen by Spotify to represent South Korea in this campaign. They acknowledge her talent and the impact she brings to the listeners. Spotify described her with the following words:

4 as the highest rating given to an artist's album so far this year 2021 (not sure if from their entire history) so Wendy receiving 3.5 stars for a solo debut album is indeed a huge achievement for her as an artist. IU is currently the one who holds the highest rating of 4 with her recent released album called LILAC. Like Water surely is a solo debut success and glad that fans, casual listeners and music critics are receiving this creation warmly. 

With Wendy's Like Water receiving a high rating of 3.5 stars, she joined Hwasa and Taeyeon as female soloists receiving such achievement for a solo debut album.

I've been so affected by Wendy's comeback in the music scene that's why I'm so not active lately when it comes to other Korean updates and stuff but after a week, I guess I'm a bit okay now and have adjusted to it. lol I'm not saying Wendy's not making me feel okay but I'm just so emotional that my heart couldn't take it whenever she's having a schedule lately. It feels like my mind and my world is only for Wendy. lol I wish that's the only case for my whole life but then again I'm just a mere person who needs to live her own life too. Ah.. WENDY is getting bigger and bigger as her solo journey goes on day by day. For Wendy who loves to sing and convey the right message of her songs, I am ecstatic that she's gaining a wide range of audience and I'm sure that's what Wendy's feeling too. She mentioned before that even if there's just one or two people listening to her, she will continue to sing for them and look how fast the night changes with her now singing for millions of people across the globe. The world is listening to Wendy and that's what this achievement of being one of the two Korean female solo artists to spend 2 days as no. 1 on the worldwide iTunes is manifesting. I am just so proud!

I just have to compile everything in here because I am so proud of her and I know that there will be time, in the near future, wherein she will outdo her own personal records so this will become my reference to go back to every time. Also, since Like Water is Wendy's solo debut album, I want to archive everything and not miss out because she's that essential to my mentality that I have to know if she's been doing well and with her current set of records achieved, I'm feeling great that everything is going smoothly and incredibly well. Yep, I'm her long lost mother but not by blood though. I'm that much proud of her.

No, I didn't forget about Wendy releasing her debut album yesterday (April 5, 2021), in fact, I've been waiting ever since SM announced about her solo debut. I really woke up so early yesterday morning to get ready for work as well to ready myself emotionally with this huge WENDY day ahead of me. I've never been so excited in my life recently than anticipating Wendy's solo album. I've pre-ordered early, I spread the word about her, I listened to her music even before her solo. Like, I know most of you already know that I'm a HUGE Wendy fan ever since I've become a Reveluv. She's my total bias and this solo debut and just entirely her comeback to music scene, releasing amazing music, is making me feel so emotional really. I just love Wendy so much and now, with her newest music, I think I've admired her even way higher than before. I see her like my hero now. I don't mean to sound exaggerated with my description of how she means to me but that's just how I feel! I just love Wendy so much.
