Joseon Exorcist Premiered With An 8.9% Nationwide Viewership Ratings

I was informed late that the first two episodes of Joseon Exorcist would be 19+ so I was really surprised watching the premiere episode. For someone like me who doesn't like the 'zombie' and 'killing-spree' concepts, I was totally flabbergasted with this. lol I did react initially about that on my facebook page. Anyways, I still finished the whole episode though and glad I did because I'm totally hooked!

As we all have seen, thanks to the crowned prince, the youngest brother got infected by the evil spirit/disease and even disappointingly allowed the creature enter their fortress due to his carelessness. He's getting into my nerves since his first appearance in this episode, being drunk in both women and alcohol. He's an annoying whiner to his father as well being left in the dark about the 'undead'. But I guess, we all have to blame the ruthless father/King for that. I really pity prince Chung Nyeong (Jang Dong Yoon) as he felt like a sacrifice finding cure to all his father's mess. I do feel like that current and the late King has something to do with why evil spirits existed and I feel like they're there to have some revenge. Anyways, this drama totally caught me so no, I'm not gonna drop this!

Joseon Exorcist's first episode got viewership ratings with 5.7% on its first part and 8.9% on the 2nd part. I honestly find this really low for a free-to-air tv program, the anticipation for this drama really is low. But anyways, this is only the beginning and I'm looking forward how they'll soar with the ratings as this drama goes by.
