Mr. Queen Actress Shin Hye Sun Is Getting Hate Amidst The Joseon Exorcist Controversy

The Joseon Exorcist controversy is now getting out of hand and actress Shin Hye Sun is also getting involved with the backlash from Korean viewers. Even when Mr. Queen was long finished with remarkable high viewership ratings, more than a month as of writing, Korean viewers criticizing the show re-surfaced amidst the Joseon Exorcist's historical distortion controversy. We all know that Mr. Queen got backlash from the viewers too even way before it aired and during its airing period as well. However, upon release of statement of apology from Mr. Queen production, the hate comments slowly diminished for the succeeding episodes after 2nd episode. We all thought that the claims of South Korean viewers died down as the show successfully finished but we were all wrong! It seemed that Korean viewers aren't that forgiving at all!

Today, March 26, reports about K-Netz bringing up Mr. Queen in the middle of Joseon Exorcist's controversy came to light. The hate does not only targeting the show, Mr. Queen itself, but also the actress Shin Hye Sun. Haters dig through her interview way back the press-con for Mr. Queen and get hated for her statement about how she'll regret if she won't participate in the production of Mr. Queen as it's her first ever historical drama. (See also: Mr. Queen Is Shin Hye Sun's First Ever Historical Drama) Shin Hye Sun also shoot a CF for a fried chicken company in her Mr. Queen outfit to which K-Netz accused her of being a sell-out actress for. Haters gave her that title because Shin Hye Sun knew about Mr. Queen's mockery about Korea's history from the very start and yet still decided to take part in it and even shoot a CF with the same outfit from the drama. 

What's happening right now in Korean entertainment is quite disappointing. It's true that the opinion of the viewers should be taken into account but Korean viewers surely are taking this to another level as they all act all mighty and high causing huge loss for the production, actors, and other people involved. This is basically their culture now but I hope this would change for the better.
