Go Kyung Pyo Protected His Heart and Dream In Frankly Speaking Episode 3

This episode tells us exactly what it means to be protecting our hearts by expressing what we really mean and by standing up for our own self including our dreams. Nobody would be able to protect us but ourselves. This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. He was so used to living in lies and sugarcoat everything that he lost his true self to get himself to his desired dream/goal. Now that he got a disease of telling only the truth, it

Mr. Queen Is Shin Hye Sun's First Ever Historical Drama

Did you know that Mr. Queen was Shin Hye Sun's first ever historical drama to star in? During the show's press conference held last December, Shin Hye Sun expressed her desire to portray a role in a historical drama. She mentioned that she has a romantic idea of wearing hanbok and speaking in a tone used in Joseon period, and with Mr. Queen, she achieved all of it.

Mr. Queen may be Shin Hye Sun's first historical drama, but it's no ordinary one as it's infused with a challenging concept. Shin Hye Sun did a spectacular acting performance on this which I think would really mark to the minds of the viewers for a very long time. I'd say that this is a unique one and by far the most enjoyable historical drama that I have watched.

Shin Hye Sun's role as the 'Mr. Queen' does inappropriate things to  a normal historical drama though, as she portrays a queen with a modern male soul in her body. Soyong being prim and proper, born in a royal family bounded with strict rules, all of it changed when Jang Bong Hwan's soul transferred. She created havoc and applied many drastic changes in the palace yet was still loved by many in the end. It was really a memorable historical drama for me as a viewer.
