Rowoon To Star In A New Fantasy Romance Drama With Jo Bo Ah This Coming August!

Rowoon has been a favorite of mine since I've encountered him on Trolls the movie world tour where he dubbed the main male character alongside Wendy of Red Velvet who did the same for the main female protagonist. But I came to love him even more when I watched him on She Would Never Know drama series. After that, I watched him act in The King's Affection. You can say that I'm eyeing him since then. There's also Tomorrow but for some reason I was not able to finish that one because I was not ready to cry when that drama aired, maybe I'll try when I have more time?

Anyways, I read that he will have a new drama project and it will be alongside Jo Bo Ah! The drama is called Destined With You and will set to premiere this August!! Basically this is a fantasy drama wherein Rowoon is a lawyer who had been cursed and it's Jo Bo Ah's character that will help him to revoke the curse. Hmm... I'm very much looking forward to this! 

All my favorite on-going dramas ended already, Doctor Cha, The Good Bad Mother and Tale of the Nine Tailed. Therefore I'm a lost soul right now.. lol I need to find my new favorites in order for me to live. Hahaha crazy kdrama fan, I know.  

Lee Dong Wook's Tale of the Nine Tailed Leading lady Jo Bo Ah Sent A Sweet Gift To The Set Of His New Movie

Seems like Kim Bum is not the only one who's booked and busy! A new Lee Dong Wook movie is on its way as the production started filming for it. To show support in this cold weather, his leading lady in Tale of the Nine Tailed, Jo Bo Ah, sent a coffee truck to the set of "Single in Seoul".

Just recently, Kim Bum shared via Instagram (Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah Showed Support To Kim Bum On The Set Of His Upcoming Drama) that he received a coffee truck from  Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah. But this time Jo Bo Ah solely gave Lee Dong Wook this coffee truck today, January 12. 

I could tell how much thought was put into the messages written on the banners, there was even a 'user guide' talking about Lee Dong Wook's personality. 

Dong Wook oppa might sometimes get irritated, whiny, or say weird things, but it's all because he's affectionate and wants to get closer to you. Please don't be taken aback, and just endure it 10 times. You can become close friends.

Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah Showed Support To Kim Bum On The Set Of His Upcoming Drama

When we all thought their relationship was over when Tale of The Nine Tailed ended, we're definitely wrong because the friendship of these three continues to be strong up to this date. Today, January 7, Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah showed support by sending coffee truck to Kim Bum on the set of his upcoming drama, Law School. 

Kim Bum showed his appreciation over this gift by posting a photo of him and the coffee truck on Instagram. He captioned it, 

The hyung and the human I miss dearly. For the first time in a long while.

Aw... aren't they the sweetest? Seemed like they really bonded well in the set of Tale of The Nine Tailed. I hope to see more interactions like this in the future too. Yay!

Tale of the Nine Tailed Finale Episode (A Happy Ending?!)

And finally we reached the end! Again, it's all thanks to Lee Rang's character that saved not just the ending but the whole show. Seriously, I've had my heartbreak when in the end Lee Rang has to sacrifice himself and his happiness from his new found family to get Lee Yeon back, but I wasn't surprised at all. Maybe in this lifetime, it's Lee Rang's fate to suffer for the consequences of his sins, in this case it's to die in the end. On another topic/character, I must say, I've never depended too much on Ji Ah getting Lee Yeon back since she's so incapable since the very beginning. All she ever done was nag the Granny at Samdo River to bring back Lee Yeon but hey I guess that was effective summoning the King of Darkness all thanks to Granny's unlimited phone calls. lol But still, Ji Ah's character never weighed so much to me, because all she ever portray is being the human girl that the nine tailed fox Lee Yeon loved. I guess that's her sole role in the story. 

Will Ji-Ah Lose Lee Yeon Forever? | Tale of the Nine Tailed Episode 15

I know that I've said that I won't cry if ever one of the two leads, Ji Ah or Lee Yeon, dies in the end but I was so wrong. I ate up what I've said because I actually cried over it. However, it's not because I regretted over their tragic love story but my tears were because of the people that loved them would be left without one of them. In the end, it was Lee Yeon who died and there are so many people who'll get affected by it not just Ji Ah. We have Lee Rang, Shin Joo, the snail bride, granny and his husband and a lot more. Their connection to Lee Yeon is so strong since they've been together in flesh for hundreds of years that makes me feel so affected that they had to separate all in the end. Also, the fact that they all are willing to help and sacrifice themselves for Lee Yeon pierced my heart immensely more than what Ji Ah's words about 'protecting' or 'sacrificing herself for Lee Yeon' weighs. 

Tale Of The Nine Tailed Episodes 13 & 14 Claim 5.1% In Viewership Rating

We are nearing this drama's end, just 2 more episodes left for next week. When I watched episode 13, I'm not sure if it's just me but, there's so many things going on. It's nice that the drama is actually using all the characters in one episode but I feel like their purpose is not really served fully. I mean, there are some scenes wherein there's no sense at all or they were just blabbing whatever that just made the whole episode too condensed and it felt so unnatural and boring. lol I figured that I should watch episode 14 first before I react in this week's episodes and glad I did because it actually lessen my dislike to the turn of events.

I'm not sure if I'm going to like the ending at all, because this week's episodes are a bit of a drag honestly. I kind of lose interest on what could happen in the end. Maybe it's because the only reason why I'm hanging onto this drama finally regained a new life which is Lee Rang and the fact that the writer made Yoo Ri and Shin Ju's love story a cringe and now they are apart in a dash. It's kind of disappointing. Also, we got one final villain to end but it's so difficult to just kill it since it's inside Lee Yeon's love, Ji-Ah. and it's so selfish to request a 3 day extension to extinguish the Imoogi knowing that everyone's dying and is facing a contagious disease. This just proved how shallow and selfish their love is, reason why I won't probably shed a tear if ever one of them actually dies in the end. I don't know, maybe if their story was told differently and that they actually have chemistry then probably I would shed some tears. But who knows, I'll try to watch the last two episodes next week and see if that'll change. Stay tuned! lol

Ji Ah Is Where The Main Part Of Imoogi Lies | Tale Of The Nine Tailed Episode 12

My faith for this drama is coming back and it's all thanks to this episode. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time watching, the twist is finally coming to light and sub-characters are well used. Life saver for this drama, I would say! The part where Yoo Ri stabbed Lee Rang multiple times really broke my heart, the flashback at the early part of the episode was such a great build up. I get to finally notice how powerful and hateful the Imoogi really is because of that.

Lee Yeon & Ji Ah Helped Out Lee Rang To End Deal With Seogyeong Traitor | Tale Of The Nine Tailed Episode 11

I've already expected that the half brothers were feigning their fight the first time and I'm glad that I was correct all along. It's so heartwarming to see them work together after witnessing Lee Rang's struggle the whole show. The success of fooling that evil human and end his and Lee Rang's deal gave me huge relief. Can I expect now that Lee Rang's finally gonna get the happiness he has longed for together with his brother? Also, Ji Ah was a key player to their plans as well so maybe we'll get to see Lee Rang's cold heart warmed up for her. The rivalry between him and Ji Ah over Lee Yeon is running for so long, it's about time this gets fixed. lol 

Lee Rang Continues To Suffer, Yoori & Shin Joo's Relationship Develops In Tale Of The Nine Tailed Episode 10

We're already at episode 10, just 6 more episodes and we'll finally meet its end. Whew, I'm kind of wishing it could be sooner. lol What I care mostly about the story now is Lee Rang and the 2nd couple's blooming romance. Even though we got to see more history behind the love between Lee Yeon and Ji-Ah on this episode, the moment they go back to their present selves, I just can't help but get bored. I'd rather want to see them explore individually than to suffer watching their lack of chemistry. How am I going to survive till the end? Lee Rang! I just want to see him happy in this drama.

Tale Of The Nine Tailed Episode 9: Lee Yeon and Lee Rang Rekindled Their Brotherhood While Ji-Ah Reunites With Her Parents

Sometimes it really takes a life and death situation before we realize the importance of someone's existence in our lives and that's proven in this episode of Tale Of The Nine Tailed. Lee Rang and Lee Yeon finally rekindled  their brotherhood after a long time. The grudge and loneliness that Lee Rang kept to his heart for hundred years vanished as Lee Yeon proved his brotherly love and care for him while being trapped in the Forest Of The Starved. My heart is finally at ease knowing that Lee Rang's sufferings ended and he has found a reason to live again. Thank goodness Lee Yeon for once didn't act stubborn, keeping mum about the whole truth while his brother curse him to death, and finally act and talk like a real brother to him. 

Tale Of The Nine Tailed: Lee Yeon Chose Lee Rang Over His First Love

Holy cow! This episode got me on the edge of my seat almost the whole time! There are dull moments to count but the suspense on the later part really hyped me up! It got unexpected events served, and the thrill is coming back! Seriously, I am so impressed.  

I'm starting to get tired of fooling myself believing that there will be love chemistry between Lee Yeon and Ji-Ah from the previous episodes. I guess I've already seen enough of them, that's why it's been a drag for me to continue watching this drama. I thought the story would painfully continue to revolve around those two. [Well, technically it's about them] But heck, I've been slapped in the face with some other exciting happenings! 

Lee Dong Wook Killed Jo Bo Ah In Tale Of The Nine Tailed Episode 7

We already know this fact that Lee Yeon killed Ah-Eum from the past episodes and we're only waiting for Ji-Ah to find out about it, thanks to Lee Rang for that. The scene was really heartbreaking and it'll probably be the start of their strained relationship, that is if Ji-Ah's going to believe what she saw in the mirror without explanation from Lee Yeon. So are we going to see Lee Yeon trying to win back Ji-Ah's trust in the next episodes? Maybe yes and probably we'll get to see more of Lee Yeon's hardships in portraying Ji-Ah's saviour from both the past and present just to win her sympathy and trust. Geez, give us explanation first, we need more details!

Lee Dong Wook And Jo Bo Ah's DAZED Magazine Feature

I almost flipped when I saw these pictures especially this first one that I'll share with you. I don't know why but it feels like their connection is much stronger in these photos than in the drama. lol Probably because this is intense! Ahh!

Tale Of The Nine Tailed: As Lee Yeon & Ji-Ah's Love Story Progress, Lee Rang Continues To Gain Sympathy From The Viewers

Now that Lee Yeon discovered the reincarnation of her first love, we are able to see huge progress in their relationship. In this episode 5, we're served with some spice of a kissing scene from the couple! Lee Yeon's waiting for such a long time but his passion and desire for his love surely didn't diminish but intensifies more especially when he saw Ji-Ah in the clothing of Ah-Eum in this modern world. With this discovery, I think we got some official partnership in helping out lost souls in find their way to the other world too. I knew it, it's going to be revival of some Hotel Del Luna, Goblin and Korean Odyssey concept. I'm not complaining, alright?

Tale Of The Nine Tailed, The Fox Bead Has Been Found!

The fox bead that Lee Yeon left with his first love, Ah-eum, has been found in Ji-ah and we all know what that meant! Ah! No wonder that this episode 4 was hinting so much about the resemblance of Ah-eum and Ji-ah. They build up the scenes very well before revealing the main event. It honestly worked with me, the moment Ji-ah called Lee Yeon for a dinner and the happenings thereafter just made me giggle! 

I thought that the underworld part, where Lee Yeon crosses the bridge full of knives, was kind of boring as it was prolonged too much to my liking. We get it he's suffering gravely to protect his girl, and eventually surpassed it just because he got motivated thinking about her. Okay. It got even more boring when it's sided with Ji-Ah chasing by little girls all the way, which didn't even give me chills one bit. lol The could have made the girls looked scary to make it effective to the audience. But hey the hype got back for me when Lee Yeon finally saved her from falling from the roof top and the bead finally activates with a teardrop. Ah my Lee Yeon and Ji-ah/Ah-eum, finally found each other!

Tale Of The Nine Tailed Maintains A 5.5% Rating

Is it too early to say that I think I'm falling under the spell of Lee Rang for this drama? Kim Bum's character really is so charismatic that I'm fine with whatever he decides to do evilly. lol His sex appeal is just oozing and every smirk could get anyone squeal! He's fantastic! Ah I crave for more! w

In episode 3, my reaction would be not the same excitement and captivation I've had in the last 2 episodes. I feel like the impact of the action scene where Lee Dong Wook saves Jo Bo Ah's character from the shaman was not that much. I was expecting something goblin scene with the slow motion and background music. lol Yes, I was expecting something romantic but hey, it's still all good to me. 

This episode gets darker as we witnessed more deaths which were all caused by non other than the younger half sibling. And we've also had glimpse of their past which I wish we could see more in the next episode. May I just mention how we're now having developments between Lee Yeon and Ji Ah? Hopefully their connection and spark would finally ignite more.

The rating of the last episode from a week ago was 5.557% while episode 3 this week gained 5.588%  nationwide. 

Tale Of The Nine Tailed (Lee Dong-wook, Jo Bo-ah, Kim Bum)- A Highly Recommended Fantasy Drama

OMG! As expected of a fantasy k-drama, it's so freaking amazing! I got goosebumps watching and I just finished episode 1. Wow! That's how impressed I am right now. Thank God I've decided to watch this even if it's still on-going. Tale Of The Nine Tailed just premiered this October 7 and currently has 2 episodes as of writing. It airs every Wednesday and Thursday. I've already watched the first episode and I wanted to share my thoughts about it first before watching the 2nd episode. 

Ah! My excitement over this is so high right now. This is a TVN k-drama so I already expected that the story got some idea adaptation or similarities from the first three hits Goblin, A Korean Odyssey and Hotel Del Luna, and boy I am so right. You'll understand what I meant after you watch the first episode.
