Go Kyung Pyo and Kang Han Admit to Being in a Relationship In Frankly Speaking Episode 10

That final scene with Ki Baek's family going on a trip but ended up in a car accident, I found that so unexpected tbh. But I guess that's the only way the writer could think of in making the family closer together. Let's face it Ki Baek's family is so awkward with one another, they don't share a bond like how the usual families are with each other. Even though Ki Baek got a job and some matters were resolved, they still feel so awkward. Nothing could break this awkwardness without something unfortunate to happen to their family to shake them awake and become closer with one another. And it's sad that it's done this way, but that's just how life is. If you can't change something by ordinary ways, the universe will conspire for something eye-opening to happen and that accident was it for Ki Baek's family. Sheesh. I hope after the car accident, the family would become united.

Anyways, in the previous episode, Wooju and Ki Baek's problem was about their relationship going public amidst the popularity of Couple's Paradise. It was all revealed by the evil witch Cho Hui but eventually got proven that she's only lying about Wooju and Ki Baek being in a relationship before the show commenced and about Wooju blackmailing the other girl. It was all lies and thanks to Wooju and her assistant writer for finding evidence to that. Now I am waiting for Choi Hui's loser face to publicly apologize to everyone for being such a lying btch. hahaha!

The best part of that conference was that Ki Baek and Wooju did not deny about their relationship though. I love it.

If I'm asked about how is it watching Frankly Speaking, I'd be lying if I said that I didn't get bored and frustrated with it at all. The drama started so well as it talk about relatable scenarios of life such as losing a job then getting back up again, family issues and more. Then it all made us amused watching Ki Baek's bluntness after getting electrocuted but the show instantly got boring when the it spent so many episodes centering only on the relationship between Wooju and Ki Baek and the factors I've mentioned that got us hooked were pushed back and forgotten. Hmmm... the 'frankly speaking' concept got washed out as well. It honestly got so much potential but the writing sucks a little bit tbh. But now that everything went well with the relationship between Ki Baek and his switch Wooju, the story is finally stirring back to the original flow and main issues. FINALLY!

Go Kyung Pyo and Kang Han Na's Relationship Got Revealed in Frankly Speaking Episode 9

I find Wooju's mom's story in this episode to be so moving. She wanted to take away her life but when she met Wooju, she found purpose to live again. Isn't it beautiful?

Wooju's biological mom frequents the salon of wooju's current mom. At first I thought she was only passing time/buying time at the salon so she wouldn't be back home. I thought she was a battered wife with the mark on her hand but it turned out to be just a birthmark and not injuries from getting hit by her husband at home. Hmmm... what in the world is her motive now by showing up? It can't be because of Wooju's popularity, right? Because if it is then she's quite the same 'user' like Cho Hui to Ki Baek.

Speaking of that bitch Cho Hui, ugh, I hate her so much! She was using Ki Baek to promote her bakery. She was mentioning Ki Baek multiple times on her live but her fans caught up that they didn't have special relationship or are close at all. Obviously she's the one who opened up the issue about Ki Baek and Wooju on the internet.

But now that everything's out in the open with Ki Baek and Wooju's relationship, I think it's better to just admit the truth. I mean at this point, who cares what happen anymore with Couple's Paradise show? Wooju ain't part of it anymore and Cho Hui would finally be able to stop leeching off of Ki Baek's popularity. It's a win-win situation tbh. Wooju can still return to writing and Ki Baek can just do whatever he can just like the old times. If his fans are genuine in following him then there's nothing to be afraid of because they will follow him through it all, it's not like he had committed a crime after all. And I bet there will be Wooju and Ki Baek fans who are shipping them too! Who knows?

Kang Han Na Found Hope For Her Next Show Thanks To Go Kyung Pyo's Notebook in Frankly Speaking Episode 4

Wow, I swear this drama is getting better and better! It's really growing on me, and that ending scene truly excites me. It has been a while since I felt that rush gushing over me, my heart fluttering because of Song Ki Baek and On Woo Ju. I swear there really is chemistry between them when I thought there's none. I love them already. Can I also just say how awesome it really is when they used the OST in the ending scene? The entrance was so smooth, and it really fit the scene so well! Kudos to the director for that!

In this episode 4, we got to see some harsh truth happening inside a family and it involves money. Song Ki Baek has been the constant source of money for their whole family previously and now that he has decided to quit out of impulse, the whole family acts awkwardly around him now that he's back living with them and without a job. It feels really awful, and I can imagine how painful it is for Ki Baek. Can't he sit still and take a rest for quite some time? These family members of him are so selfish. Money isn't even that easy to work hard for, they wouldn't know because they weren't even working to provide for themselves, only Ki Baek knows it and it's just disappointing that his family members treat him like a plague now that he has no money. I hope their set up becomes better.

There's actually a thought that's been running on my mind lately and this drama has become the clear representation of it. I've thought that, if we decided to take on the role of the provider of the family, we need to take it into our heads that... providing money isn't enough. There's a need to make connection with people whom you provide for if you want them still around you after you have nothing anymore (job and money). In the case of Ki Baek, he got used to only transferring money without connecting to them before which is why it's been awkward among all family members since he came to their house. This reality is applicable to all breadwinners and most especially the dads of the house. It's not always about money, try to connect with your family too.

Anyways, back to the story. Song Ki Baek found out what turns on the switch of his illness of speaking frankly and it's when he sneezes. It turns off only when On Wooju pushes his chest lightly. Aaaaah! I'm getting excited about this concept. It means that they'll become inseparable in the upcoming episodes and there, the love between them would bloom! I really do think that Jeong Heon would become a great help for Wooju's career but I think that it's Ki Baek who's gonna catch her heart this time. Sometimes, it's with the person who we are with during the time we hit rock bottom of our lives that we would feel comfortable with also when we reached success in our lives. It's like in a wedding vow, through thick and thin, richer and poorer, they'll stay together... that's what it's gonna be for Ki Baek and Wooju for sure! Waaaaa! My heart is so excited for these two! For real!

Go Kyung Pyo Protected His Heart and Dream In Frankly Speaking Episode 3

This episode tells us exactly what it means to be protecting our hearts by expressing what we really mean and by standing up for our own self including our dreams. Nobody would be able to protect us but ourselves. This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. He was so used to living in lies and sugarcoat everything that he lost his true self to get himself to his desired dream/goal. Now that he got a disease of telling only the truth, it has become very difficult for him to cope up everyday. A man who was living in lies has suddenly spoke only truth. Oh, the irony.

I really do think that Woo Ju is the one who can switch off his disease, it's evident in today's episode. She tried to calm him and reminding him about protecting his heart and that's what exactly he did in the end. After successfully delivering his lines during the rigged audition, Ki Baek courageously stepped down as JBC's announcer by telling everyone that he's leaving that corrupt and stinky studio. kkkk What a way to leave an unforgettable impression to everyone around him. Go for it!

Go Kyung Pyo's Career Went Downhill As He Continue To Speak His Mind Without Thinking in Frankly Speaking Episode 2

So it's confirmed that due to the electrocution that happened to Song Ki Baek, it affected his brain that causes him to act out of his personality. The fact that he can speak things that only he meant, he has become an adult who do not lie. This is so freaking awesome in my perspective because not all adults cannot lie because we are all living in lies. lol I mean, there's always hierarchy in our society especially in any workplace, we always try to be that 'role model' to suit any job we wanted. Speaking insincere sweet words and flattery has become a major skill to survive this hierarchy. Most, if not all, adults working could relate to that for sure. This is a sad truth, but yes, even giving respect can become a lie. It's all for survival and we call it 'professionalism' nowadays. This is why I'm amused to what's happening to Song Ki Baek, him speaking only the truth. However, since then, his career is starting to crumble. Not all people are ready to hear the truth so they are mad about it and are cutting relationships with him. That's so relatable even in real world.

Anyways, this drama is taking me by storm. Only episode 2 and I'm already attached to it. Ki Baek is so relatable in many ways, even when he's not under that 'frankly speaking' syndrome. kkk I mean, he's also basically living in lies. The apartment, the car, the rich family background were all made up, but he's trying to live with this rumor. A lot of people are like that nowadays you know. People trying to live off of what other people are thinking about them and it's crazy!

Btw, I just noticed that whenever Woo Ju is around Ki Baek, his syndrome is not turned on. I think the cure to his illness lies with Woo Ju so they need to stick together to find out! hahaha! It's gonna be a crazy ride! I'm seated!

Go Kyun Pyo Speaks Before Thinking In Frankly Speaking Episode 1

I think I found a new gem among all the on-going Kdramas right now. Frankly Speaking starring Go Kyung Pyo and Kang Han Na aired its first episode last night, May 1, and I finally finished watching today! Guess what?! I really love it already. I like the idea that someone like Song Ki Baek finally has the opportunity to tell whatever it is that he meant. In the early scenes, he was known to be the next anchor of their broadcasting company, the youngest one if ever as he has a good image that's competitive among the candidates for the position. However, due to one incident where he got dragged by a scandal made by his co-announcer in a live broadcast, his dignified image depleted which caused him to pushed on the sideline when it comes to the next anchor position. He was then pushed to do several side hustles by his manager but they are all contributing hugely in making his worth as an announcer to diminish. I mean, an announcer reciting a quack quack poem?! lol And he's also now part of a variety show. He's basically went from a sought after announcer into an errand boy of different producers just to get a good image from them. And even if he doesn't want to do the tasks that they are asking from him, he still does it all for the sake of saving his career. Which I think is very relatable to most of us employees. It's a sad reality.

One day, On Woo Joo, the head writer of the variety show that Song Ki Baek was in, talked to him in private in the power room and scold him for his ignorance. That's where the accident happened, the location where Ki Baek sneezes and made contact with an electrical fuse. That's the root cause why Ki Baek developed a disorder that made him speak frankly without even thinking. I'm not sure entirely if I'll be happy about this considering that it's called as a disorder but for now, I'm excited how this would affect Ki Baek's life more. I think Woo Joo got curious to Ki Baek's bold words after the electrical accident so I'm pretty sure that she'll stay with him for long.

I checked out the genre of this drama and it's comedy and 'melodrama' OMG!!! Waaah, so we're gonna cry along the way, huh?! It'll make us happy in the early episodes only to make us cry in the end. Okay, I'm ready because I want to know more about this interesting drama more! Yay!

Jang Ki Yong And Hyeri Faced Crisis Together For Love And The Ending Is?

In the last episode aired July 15 of My Roommate Is A Gumiho, Shin Woo Yeo returned as a human in the life of Hyeri.

Woo Yeo, who meets a crucial moment of disappearance in the middle of their happy relationship, eventually sends away Lee Dam from his house. It was already too late when Lee Dam realized the real meaning behind the weird behavior of Woo Yeo but she still came out of her house and run towards Woo Yeo's house.

Jang Ki Yong And Hyeri Failed To Achieve Their Goal In My Roommate Is A Gumiho Episode 15

So after the revelation of the deity that what turned a fox bead blue is humanity, Shin Woo Yeo (Jang Ki Yong) and Lee Dam (Hyeri) had been consistently working together to achieve this and yet in the end Shin Woo Yeo will disappear? Now that's awful. It's quite vague for me to point out what went wrong. It's the fox bead turning blue would make a gumiho human, right? Or was that just an illusion? lol Anyways, I think this is just all part of the tricks to get the viewers stay tuned for the finale. So will Woo Yeo disappear or not? Let's find out in the last episode of My Roommate is A Gumiho. lol

Hyeri Is Jang Ki Yong's Sun (A Response To Go Kyung Pyo's Question) In My Roommate Is A Gumiho Episode 14

This whole episode 14 is the response to the deity's question to Lee Dam whether Shin Woo Yeo is the type of creature that would take off his jacket when the wind is strong or when the sun shines warmly. The deity already knew what would make Woo Yeo bring out the humanity in him but deities always do not spoon feed their creations, they wanted them to learn and grow. Which is why the deity (Go Kyung Pyo) gave out 2 hints, one that described Hye Sun and one for Woo Yeo, to Lee Dam instead for her to work on it. And indeed, Lee Dam worked on it the entire episode.

The Main Key To Reach Jang Ki Yong's Goal Was Revealed In My Roommate Is A Gumiho Episode 13

To prolong the story now, we are back to witness that quirkiness of Lee Dam (Hyeri) and I am not complaining. It's so cute to see her back to her playfulness and her character not completely thrown away because of the influence of love. At the end of the day, Lee Dam is still Lee Dam despite being in love with an almost 1000 years old gumiho. Again, it's all thanks to Hye Sun (Kang Han Na) for bringing a leveled up comedy to the whole plot of this drama, she actually brought out the foolishness of Lee Dam and Woo Yeo (Jang Ki Yong) too so everything's really funny. She's all honest and unaware of her stupidity, haha, which attracts her own type Jae Jin (Kim Do Wan) too. I am so glad they are finally together, like really together for real! This 2nd couple is really something. It's the continuous fun they bring that would probably, any time soon if this keeps up, make my love for them go beyond the main couple of this drama.

Is Jang Ki Yong And Hyeri's Relationship Really Over? | My Roommate Is A Gumiho Episode 12

Episode 12 of My Roommate Is A Gumiho is such a tear jerking episode. Hye Sun (Kang Han Na) said it herself that the reason why gumihos wanted to become human is because only humans can control their destiny, and that's why Woo Yeo (Jang Ki Yong) is making decisions here and there. He's desperate to change his fate, or at least do something to hinder the fate of Lee Dam (Hyeri) and Sun Woo (Bae In Hyuk), even though he knew there's really nothing he can do about it. We were watching Lee Dam closely because we thought she's the one who'll be making mistakes but we're all wrong with what's manifesting in this episode. It's Woo Yeo we should be worried about making mistakes for bad decisions driven by his desperation to be with Lee Dam.

Jang Ki Yong Watches Hyeri And Bae In Hyuk Fall In Love In My Roommate Is A Gumiho Episode 11

This is really one of the scariest thing in the world when you're in love with someone, seeing the one you love falling for someone else. Ouch, that really hurts! lol In this episode, Woo Yeo (Jang Ki Yong) watches Lee Dam (Hyeri) and Sun Woo (Bae In Hyuk) slowly falling for each other due to their fate dictated by the red string connecting them. When the deity (Go Kyung Pyo) said to Woo Yeo that he's a mere animal, that's really awful and I felt that pain for Woo Yeo. This episode really depicted the cruel truth of their differences to Woo Yeo. Since Lee Dam is still young, the deity must have thought that she has no capability to distinguish reality and fantasy. But he's too much, Woo Yeo is his creature too!

Hyeri And Bae In Hyuk Got Connected By The Red Thread of Fate In My Roommate Is A Gumiho Episode 10

Watching this episode really makes me sad for Woo Yeo. He was trying his best to keep Lee Dam by his side without harming her but the mountain spirit really is cruel for him, he even treaded red strings to the fate of Lee Dam and Sun Woo before his eyes. Now Woo Yeo have to witness how Lee Dam and Sun Woo slowly develop feelings for each other. This is really making me cry for him. It's painful to watch! It's been tested out when Woo Yeo watched Lee Dam attending to drunk Woo Yeo from afar. Huhu.

Jang Ki Yong Makes Hyeri's Heart Flutter In My Roommate Is A Gumiho Episode 3

This drama is definitely crawling at the top of my favorite on-going drama as of the moment. It really is refreshing after watching heavy and depressing dramas like Youth of May and Doom At Your Service. Dramas like Sell Your Haunted House, Taxi Driver, Move to Heaven has some client-based tear jerking stories too, so they add up sadness to my life but with My Roommate Is A Gumiho, I'm just all smiles so far. I know it's because it just started recently and that everything's going smoothly in a comedic way but even so, it's still a breath of fresh air. I really like it.

Jang Ki Yong And Hyeri Got Closer In My Roommate Is A Gumiho Episode 2

I've never had a great laugh in such a long time watching a Kdrama. I think the last time was still with Mr. Queen. My Roommate Is A Gumiho really is hilarious and we're only at 2nd episode. I have not expected to see a scene where the female protagonist would do some stunts such as unclogging the toilet. Hahaha It was so funny but at the same time it's disgusting even though the water closet was blurred. That's still 'ew' for me.

Seo Dal Mi & Nam Do San Reunited After 3 Years In Start-Up Episode 13 & 14

We are just 2 episodes away from this show's ending! I feel like I'm gonna go through separation anxiety for this drama just like what I've felt with 'Search' but I think I'll suffer more because of this. I've been inspired multiple times because of this drama at the same time cried and giggle for each characters. I just love them all!

With these two latest episodes, we've seen mature and grown sides of the characters and the only thing left unsolved is that matter of the hearts between the 3, Ji Pyeong, Dal Mi and Do San. However, as we've witnessed, it all comes down with a clear vision of the writer that they are going in a direction where Dal Mi and Do San will still be the end game. I have to admit, I was hopeful that Ji Pyeong would have a huge chance to Dal Mi but it seems like within that 3 years, Dal Mi's heart has been occupied with Do San and has no space for Ji Pyeong at all. It's kind of frustrating how Ji Pyeong wasted that 3 years though, he's really a good boy that's considerate of the feelings that he loves but that's just like passing by the chances. I also kind of tiny bit hate Dal Mi for not getting straight with Ji Pyeong with her true feelings the entire time, or has she forgotten that Ji Pyeong actually confessed to him long before? Ahh.. it's really frustrating. I feel like I don't want to watch the works of this writer anymore. lol who am I kidding?

Nam Joo Hyuk Got Caught By Bae Suzy & Kang Han Na in Start-Up Episode 4

I surely didn't expect Do San getting busted this early but somehow I'm relieved that it already happened. Maybe because as the episode 4 progresses showing how much Do San, Ji Pyeong and Dal Mi enjoy each other's company, I've already envisioned the hurtful consequences that it may cause in the end once the secret has been discovered, most especially to Dal Mi. So somehow, I'm grateful that it has been revealed. However, we're not sure up to what extent Do San disclosed. I'm having a feeling that not everything of it, so I'm still tensed about it. Gosh! I need episode 5 now!
