Go Kyung Pyo Protected His Heart and Dream In Frankly Speaking Episode 3

This episode tells us exactly what it means to be protecting our hearts by expressing what we really mean and by standing up for our own self including our dreams. Nobody would be able to protect us but ourselves. This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. He was so used to living in lies and sugarcoat everything that he lost his true self to get himself to his desired dream/goal. Now that he got a disease of telling only the truth, it

Hyeri Is Jang Ki Yong's Sun (A Response To Go Kyung Pyo's Question) In My Roommate Is A Gumiho Episode 14

This whole episode 14 is the response to the deity's question to Lee Dam whether Shin Woo Yeo is the type of creature that would take off his jacket when the wind is strong or when the sun shines warmly. The deity already knew what would make Woo Yeo bring out the humanity in him but deities always do not spoon feed their creations, they wanted them to learn and grow. Which is why the deity (Go Kyung Pyo) gave out 2 hints, one that described Hye Sun and one for Woo Yeo, to Lee Dam instead for her to work on it. And indeed, Lee Dam worked on it the entire episode.

However, like what Lee Dam realized at the end of the day, it wasn't her that changed the aloof personality of Woo Yeo to people. It was Woo Yeo himself that did that. That someone who takes off their jackets when the sun shines warmly, that's Woo Yeo. And Lee Dam was his sun that warmed his cold frozen heart that made him finally open up and connect with ordinary people around him. That was really a remarkable metaphor! I love that writing! Daebak for the screenwriter!

On the other hand, I know I've said previously that I hate the likes of Sun Woo for being pushy when it comes to his feelings to others. Well, this episode, I somehow grew sympathy for him with how he looked pitiful when Lee Dam blandly rejected (again) with his confession. Sun Woo's hope for them has finally ended, when Lee Dam chose goodbye instead of treating it as a love confession. That alone already gave off the 'uninterested' vibe from Lee Dam which is very cruel to Sun Woo and other softy viewers of this drama, but to me and other faithful viewers to their lovers what she did was truly impressive! Some girls really know how to refuse temptations and that makes a girl transform into a real woman!
