Police University Ends With B1A4's Jin Young Pursuing His Dream And Back To Krystal's Side

So many episodes have passed already recently and I haven't made a single review yet. And now since it's the ending week, I'm finally giving it some time to react 'coz there won't be anymore next time. Huhu. Of course I've watched every single episodes that came out from the previous weeks, there were a lot of thoughts over it as they dive in and focus more in solving the main problem of the story which is finding the real culprit behind the illegal gambling site. There were lots of people involved, I think most of the professors were mentioned, if not accused, by Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun). I'll be lying if I say that I wasn't carried away in accusing these professors along with the lead actors, professor Kwon, Go, Jin Woo, Hee Soo, Tae Woong, and now Sang Hak. And what do we know? It all really comes down to the head professor which is the oldie Sang Hak. I honestly had the idea already ever since he's always acting all too nice. In the end, he's acting out this character 'nice guy' to compensate his 'wrong' principle in helping out/backing up the police in an illegal way. He, and everybody knows, that he's wrong. There were so many people/police that got involved, ruined their careers, and worst, died in that span of Hang Sak running the illegal gambling site. Clearly, he's not helping the police force but actually destroying it. Also, he's funding the hospital bills of his son with it so it's evident how he's only acting out of selfishness. Sigh.

Jin Young Promised To Find The Real Culprit Behind The Gambling Site To Krystal In Police University Episode 7

The plot is getting more and more interesting! At this point, the suspect and the accomplices behind the illegal gambling website could be anyone. As of now, the accomplice is pointing at Park Cheol Jin. But what's weird about is that, why would he risk his life in telling Dong Man that the culprit behind the website is at Police University? Was everything just an act? Well maybe, now that he's at Korean National Police University, the culprit could be really him after all. Lol But of course, I still am not gonna close this case yet until a precise and stronger evidence come to light. Because, I don't want to end up accussing such nice people again like professor Kwon who is starting to get a close friendship with Dong Man!

Jin Young Disappoints Krystal Which Leads To Choo Yeong Woo's Confession To Her | Police University Episode 6

Now this drama really is something! I honestly thought that after episode 5, the focus would begin to swirl down to only Kang Hee and Sun Ho's relationship but I was proven wrong with what happened in episode 6. Not that I dislike the exposure of Kang Hee and Sun Ho's sweet developing moments, in fact, I love it so much. It's just that, since their intimacy progresses quickly, I begun to worry that the main focus would only be them and the actions/missions would be overshadowed but I was wrong! Wah! As expected of a Cha Tae Hyun's drama, it does not disappoint or perhaps it's still early to comment this? Still, I love that it has so much to offer, adding spices here and there for each episode airing every week. I got a small attention span, if I find something boring, I really drop the drama along the way. But I guess that won't be the case with Police University with how they handle this episode 6.

Jin Young And Krystal Shared An Awkward Kiss + Cha Tae Hyun's Past Got Revealed In Police University Episode 5

In this episode 5 of Police University, we get to see a different side of the usually calm and reserved character of Kang Hee (Krystal). Basically, just like any other woman, Kang Hee has no tolerance to people snatching away what's supposed to be hers. And in her case, Sun Ho is hers, not officially yet but at least that's what her pounding heart and mind are telling her about in this entire episode. I just can't stop giggling at their sweet moments, especially the cute side of Kang Hee whenever she's smitten by Sun Ho. There's no point in denying already that she has feelings for him too, her friend is already stating an obvious fact to her. lol I mean, there's no further explanation as to why she's seeing him everywhere and the way she's all worked up whenever that sunbae of theirs is flirting with Sun Ho.

Jin Young Idolizes Cha Tae Hyun And Comforted Krystal In Police University Episode 4

I really am getting invested into this kdrama, it's really so good. As expected, if Cha Tae Hyun is in the drama, it'll always be good. Oh the times with Jun Ji Hyun (My Sassy Girl) is my reference on that one. Anyways, so in this episode, Kang Sun Ho's admiration for Dong Man got even bigger when he accidentally tagged along with him during his investigation. He saw how he worked in desperation to find the culprit behind his subordinate's incident. We have seen already how Sun Ho acknowledged Dong Man's ways of being a police officer which is mainly about protecting the rights of civilians whether they are innocent or criminal. Protecting the criminals in a sense of making them known to their rights. This is what he used to respond also to their strict professor Kwon during his class. Sun Ho also mimicked Dong Man's way of investigation in finding out the culprit behind a crime in Kang Hee's case. This episode really summarizes how much Sun Ho really look up to his professor, online buddy and now will become his partner, Dong Man. I love their relationship!

Jin Young Confesses To Krystal + Cha Tae Hyun Revealed That He Is Jin Young's Online Buddy | Police University Episode 3

Okay, that escalated really quickly! Just right after Sun Ho (B1A4 Jin Young) got admitted to Korean National Police University after his training, he will soon be part of solving a very dangerous case together with online buddy and now professor Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun). It's nice that the story progresses in a fast pace like this, with a lot of important events unfolding already because this would make the viewers hooked even more every week. I like it that way. Also, since they made a pact of helping out each other, this tandem of Sun Ho x Dong Man would be really great. They may have met in reality in a not so good circumstance but now that they understand each other fully, I don't think they'll find any problems in the near future.

Police University Achieves Best Viewership Rating Yet With 6.5%

Cha Tae Hyun, Jin Young And Krystal Drama Police University Achieved Highest Viewership Rating of 6.5% For Episode 2

According to Nielsen Korea, KBS 2TV's Police University episode 2 recorded a 6.5% nationwide viewership rating. This is an increase of 1.3% from the 1st episode which is 5.2%.

Cha Tae Hyun Found His Online Buddy In Jin Young Who He Hates The Most In Police University Episode 2

The romance line in this drama really is giving me so much feels. Their visuals are insane and they are overflowing with chemistry that every time they're on my screen, I can't help but smile at them. Surely, it's because of how their story started and how it progresses in the show. It's not the typical bickering type of couple at the start and progressing into more fights before becoming lovers. They really set off differently, in an unusual encounter, and progresses into supporting one another quickly that made their every scenes in the show very captivating. It's really great when a lost character developed a strong sense of 'want' to drive him or herself to achieve something. And that exactly captured me because it happened at the very beginning. I cannot really remember a drama that started like that but if you guys knew something then comment below. Anyways, I really like their tandem so much in this drama.

Police University Premiere Episode Accumulated A 5.2% Viewership Rating

Police University started broadcast as no. 1 Monday & Tuesday drama in the ratings.

According to the Viewership rating research company Nielsen Korea, KBS 2TV's Monday-Tuesday drama Police University episode 1 recorded a 5.2% nationwide viewership rating in August 9.

Meanwhile, SBS' Monday-Tuesday drama Racket Boys episode 16 finished with a 4.6% making Police University no. 1 in ratings. It was a promising start considering Police University premiere episode beats Racket Boys' finale.

Jin Young Realizes His Dream Because Of Krystal In Police University Episode 1

The first episode of Police University is really promising. I giggled a lot especially the first encounter between Kang Sun Ho (Jin Young) and Oh Kang Hee (Krystal/Jung Soo Jung). Before meeting Kang Hee, Sun Ho didn't know what exactly he wants to do with his life and because of that, he's clueless as to how one person could be passionate in whatever he/she's doing. But after accidentally hearing Kang Hee's reasons for doing something without regrets, he was moved by it and ended up enthralled by her. It was a fated encounter, really. At the end of the day, Sun Ho needed some inspiration and meets Kang Hee for him to realize his dream, what he really wanted.

'Search' Kdrama Wrapped Up With A Tear Jerking Finale

Episodes 9 and 10 combination is indeed a remarkable finale to close the story. Lots of questions were answered and problems were all resolved. This action-suspense drama is indeed one of my favorites in 2020. Although it only consisted 10 episodes, I could still leave a remark that this drama is exceptional. There were dull moments throughout the show, for sure, but not grave enough for anyone to drop this drama. In fact, these dull scenes, could be considered as 'calm before the storm' like when they were just introducing the characters on the show and finding the the clues for their mission/target. Yep, still essential moments so maybe it's inevitable to have such for a mystery genre but I wish they could have done better on how it flowed. Anyways, even so, I still love the drama! Everything about the characters to their mission, I love it all.

Last Target Is Revealed To Be Someone Related To Yong Dong Jin | Search Episode 8

My predictions before are coming to light now on the show as Lee Joon Sung finally exposed his father to the media for his sins while Yong Dong Jin's father was in fact, the commander from the 1997 DMZ special unit. Now that Dong Jin found out about it, the tension between him and assistant team leader Lee Joon Sung is rising up even more. Both men are righteous and are warmhearted despite their differences in attending problems, Joon Sung always has been calm while Dong Jin is aggressive, but I'm pretty sure that they would solve this matter as they fulfill their mission. Teamwork is the key to their success anyway.

Krystal And Jang Dong Yoon Killed The Target In Search Episode 6

There really is something about soldiers that make me utterly astonished. Probably because they are courageous and so smart in planning schemes to complete their missions. I'm pretty sure not all soldiers are like that so I'm only referring to some of them, our real heroes.

Yong Dong Jin is so manly, smart and compassionate. He maybe reckless sometimes, but that's what makes him outstand from the other military dogs. He knows what he's doing and he's very attractive because of that. Too bad he's betrayed by the assistant team leader in keeping a huge secret. We all thought that Lee Joon Sung is a righteous soldier with the way he treats his comrades but it seemed like he's also a man easily swayed when it comes to a family member. He was already suspicious from the start about his father's acquired title of being a hero from surviving the 1997 DMZ Unit and yet when he finally learned the truth, he got all weak and sided his father's wrong doings. Ugh. This is awful, but I still have hopes that he can correct all of his father's sins.

A Strong Evidence From The Past Resurfaces In Search Episode 5

We're already halfway through this drama, and we got served with so many important revelations. Yup, this drama is telling us that they are now ready in bringing us a full length suspense and actions in the next episodes till its end. [Don't dissppoint me, Search team]

So basically the the special task force was sent to the DMZ not to just eliminate the target but also to find the evidence left from the 1997 mission where Lee Hyuk and General Han Dae Sik were survivors of. Interesting, isn't it? And there's a huge possibility that Yong Dong Jin's father is the team leader of that 1997 DMZ Operations. Definitely interesting! Let's not forget about Son Yerim's involvement in that past too, since she was the child of the North Korean refugee shot and killed that very time.

The Target Comes Closer To Jang Dong Yoon and Krystal's Team In Search Episode 4

The mysterious creature is getting closer to civilization as it wanders out of the Demilitarized Zone. Clues were already thrown on previous episodes with animals missing, but it only got clearer when more evidences were found this episode.

Too bad that the special task force decided to search for the target at night, unaware that what they're looking for is already within their reach.

On this episode, I honestly wonder why we're getting so much exposure about the villagers and then the ending comes and I've connected the dots. I wasn't suspicious or whatsoever and just thought that episode might just be one of those bad ones. But then as it progressed, I already have an idea that the creature would really appear in the village and their headquarters.

Krystal And Jang Dong Yoon's Past Romance Resurfaces In Search Episode 3

As I drag myself to watch the new episode of 'Search', I wasn't really expecting much from it because I've been disappointed from the first 2 episodes. But wow! I must have been too early judging it as plain and boring because this episode 3 made me realize I was wrong.

Secret About Krystal's Birth Has Been Revealed In 'Search'

I don't think it's a good idea to watch this Kdrama late at night, and yet I did. It was definitely a wrong move! I had to cover my eyes to the scenes where the monster/ mysterous creature's appearing. Anyways I'm glad I survived it and still able to capture some important scenes.

Yes, the title might confuse you if you didn't read it clearly. I'm only referring to Krystal's character in her Kdrama 'Search', of course. It seemed that in this episode, lots of details from the past were revealed and that includes important information about Son Ye-Rim's (Krystal) birth. This would really change everything about her future if someone else knew from the military, especially the bad guys with high ranks. They are all connected with their past and I kind of have a gut feeling that Dong-Jin (Jang Dong Yoon) has some connection to that as well. We should get more flashbacks!

Krystal And Jang Dong Yoon's Drama 'Search' - First Episode

I've also watched today Krystal and Jang Dong Yoon's k-drama called Search, and after watching the first episode there are still a lot of questions unanswered inside my mind. The mystery is killing me, and that's what this drama is all set for. They are to solve the mystery behind the soldier's disappearance. At first I thought that will be just a battle between North and South Korean soldiers since I haven't really read fully the synopsis about it first but then we have supernatural creatures involved in the mystery as well.

It turned out that Krystal's character is already acquainted with Jang Dong Yoon's character from the very beginning. I wonder what's their past because despite acting aloof to each other in their sudden reunion for a mission, they seemed to really care for each other. Perhaps they've worked together beforehand.

Krystal Plays Pregnant Woman For Her First Independent Film, 'More Than Family'

Krystal will be playing her first ever lead role for an Independent Film, More Than Family.

Krystal's character is named To-il, a college student who becomes pregnant through love, going on a journey to visit her biological father ahead of her marriage. To-il is a reckless, aggressive, brave woman who is not easily intimidated by anyone and has to do whatever she wants to do. (Source: Hancinema)

I've researched about it after I watched the trailer last night and realized that they begun filming since August last year. I wonder why I did not hear about this until just recently! This is so promising considering that Krystal would be the one to play as the lead character and to be able to see her act as a pregnant woman? Wow, just wow! The other day I've written about her portraying a soldier role for her drama series, 'Search' and now I found out about this! Krystal surely is taking her acting career seriously! She's on another level! I'm glad she's up to challenging roles, it would definitely give her acting career some diversity. If this continues, fans would definitely want to see more from her and we'll be looking forward to what other roles she might take in the future.

The film will be out this November! I'm so excited!
