It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. IU/Lee Ji Eun's Celebrity Friends In Korean Entertainment (Kpop/Kdrama)

We all know how talented and versatile IU is in her craft, she can sing and act skillfully that made her popular and respectable in the Korean entertainment industry. Being active in both drama and music, it's inevitable to be exposed to lots of different people. Throughout her career and the people she have worked with, here are the people that she continuously kept in her life.

1. Yoo In-Na

IU and Yoo In-Na met in a variety show called Heroes. The said variety show was aired from year 2010 to 2011 with a total of 40 episodes. From there they managed to create a wonderful relationship as best friends up to this date. 


Yoo In-Na is popularly known not just as IU's bestfriend but as her star and muse when she dedicated her win of 'Album of The Year' in 2017 Melon Music Awards. Despite the 11 years of age gap, the two surprisingly understand each other and grew closer as time passed by. 


The two of them became important part of each other's life, UAENAs and Yoo In-Na's fans know that. Yoo In-Na is supporting IU by attending to her concerts and spending her time together during special occasions like Valentines day, vacations to domestic places or foreign countries, or maybe even on a regular day as well. So far, the two have already visited America, Jeju island and Rome together.


These two were able to work together too in a series of commercial for Hyundai i30. They displayed how comfortable they really were to each other and everyone was left in awe because of that.




2. Kim Soo Hyun

Kim Soo Hyun and IU first worked together in a popular drama Dream High (2011). Since then their friendship blooms and is evident through their constant want to work with each other.

The two reunited in 'The Producers' drama (2015), wherein Kim Soo Hyun's character was IU's character's love interest.  

In 2017, they supported each other's projects as Kim Soo Hyun participated in IU's music video for 'Ending Scene' as per her request.  IU on the other hand, did a cameo in Kim Soo Hyun's film 'Real' the same year. Although IU's cameo there was small that not everyone was able to notice that it was her.  Some discovered it was her only after seeing the credits of the movie. 

In 2019, Kim Soo Hyun supported IU's hit drama called 'Hotel Del Luna'. He did a cameo as the hotel's newest owner in the last episode. It was also Kim Soo Hyun's appearance in a drama after he got discharged from serving the military.

Aren't they so supportive and faithful to each other? I will look forward to their projects together again. 

3. T-ara's member, Jiyeon

Just like Yoo In-na, IU met Jiyeon also on the set of Heroes, they built a close friendship from there.

Despite people doubting their friendship as they assumed that IU left Jiyeon during T-ara's bullying controversy in 2012, they proved them wrong as they continue to show their wonderful friendship wherever they are.

Just early this year, during  IU's homebody signal on EDAM Entertainment's channel, IU called Jiyeon on-air as she's the person that reminds her of spring. When Jiyeon was already on the line, the set was already filled with IU's laughter. IU and Jiyeon were really happy conversing that makes the viewers feel the same. 

The two will reunite on screen on TVN's show called On and Off this October 10.


4. Bae Suzy

Same with Kim Soo Hyun, IU met Suzy during Dream High. Suzy was the main female protagonist in the drama while IU was a sub character. 

The two talked about their friendship during their Win Win guesting in episode 93. They mentioned that they started off really awkward as they confessed that they weren't really interested with each other at first. Suzy described their friendship as a magnet saying that she's the N pole and IU's the S-pole. Despite the differences, they attract each other. 



Park Myung-soo, G-dragon, Yeo Jin Goo/Hotel Del Luna Cast were also people that IU kept as her friends.

IU also have close relationship to the late Sulli, Goo Hara and Jonghyun before. It's sad that they could no longer continue their friendship now that these people are already gone, but we know that IU still keep their memories in her heart.
