Go Kyung Pyo Protected His Heart and Dream In Frankly Speaking Episode 3

This episode tells us exactly what it means to be protecting our hearts by expressing what we really mean and by standing up for our own self including our dreams. Nobody would be able to protect us but ourselves. This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. He was so used to living in lies and sugarcoat everything that he lost his true self to get himself to his desired dream/goal. Now that he got a disease of telling only the truth, it

Cho Jung Suk to Return in a Musical as Hedwig for the 5th Time!

Some of you might have been shocked with the thumbnail of this post especially those who missed out this announcement/report dispersed in January of 2024, but yes this is Cho Jung Seok coming back to musical stage as Hedwig for the 5th time and it is set to run from March 22- June 23 at Charlotte Theater in Songpa District, Southern Seoul.

Hedwig is one of the top selling musicals in South Korea and now on its 14th run. As for Cho Jung Seok's appearance, it's' his 5th time taking this role this year. He first participated in it year 2006 and continued on 2008, 2011, and 2016.

If you guys don't know, this musical is about a rocker who wanders in search of meaning of life through his music. Hedwig is an East German genderqueer singer and that is why Cho Jung Seok is wearing such outfit and makeup as shown in the pictures.

I just brought this up again to prove his range when it comes to acting (and singing). He gained yet another recognition from the fans for his excellent job portraying a role perfectly, and this time as a King, in Captivating the King. The series ended March 3 and everyone's missing his acting from then onwards. His performance is just remarkable that when you witnessed it once, you're gonna look for it in every K-drama you're watching. That's how great he really is in that series! For real!

So if you guys haven't watched it, make sure you do now! It's available on Netflix! Very accessible!
