Go Kyung Pyo Protected His Heart and Dream In Frankly Speaking Episode 3

This episode tells us exactly what it means to be protecting our hearts by expressing what we really mean and by standing up for our own self including our dreams. Nobody would be able to protect us but ourselves. This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. He was so used to living in lies and sugarcoat everything that he lost his true self to get himself to his desired dream/goal. Now that he got a disease of telling only the truth, it

Seo Hyun Jin Apologizes To Hwang In Yeop + Seo Hyun Jin Discovers Her Daughter Is Still Alive In Why Her? Episode 13

Hmmm... I honestly don't know what to feel about that kind of apology of Oh Soo Jae towards Gong Chan, I mean, wasn't it Gong Chan that still made an effort to connect with her? That scene at the rooftop, Oh Soo Jae was still trying to push him away and if she didn't change her mind about letting Gong Chan into her house then she wouldn't apologize to him at all. Upon seeing Gong Chan hurting and still welcomes her to his life, that's when she decided to take her guard down and apologize.

Maybe I was asking for too much from Oh Soo Jae. Knowing Oh Soo Jae's personality, of course she would push him away because she was guilty, embarrassed and lastly.. she hurt the man that she fell in love with. Not wanting to feel all these emotions that make her weak, she had to push him away because she has a lot of enemies to deal with in the first place. But still, I wished the apology was done in a way wherein Soo Jae made an effort to approach Gong Chan first and not the other way around.

Anyways, scumbags are still scumbags in this episode so I wouldn't really talk about them anymore. But that ending scene with Soo Jae and Choi Tae Guk... damn.. that tension was effin' real! I mean, the excellent acting between these actors really is what made 'Why Her?' that watchable to me. Those two really uplifts the quality of the entire drama. They know how to teach the newbies in the cast how to really act well.

Ah! Will Choi Tae Guk and the other two finally meet their respective dooms? Damn, it's about time!

I knew it though... that Oh Soo Jae's daughter could still be alive and it's Jae Yi! Gosh... another heartbreak for Oh Soo Jae... but at least she still has some time to catch up with her daughter. That is... if fate will allow them to... *cries in the corner

Before I end this post, I'd like to open up about the reasons why some viewers abandon this drama. I've been reading a lot of articles about why the viewership ratings of this drama kept declining.. After reaching 10% from episode 4, the ratings already went downhill and never passed 2 digits anymore. Upon searching, it seems that a lot dropped it coz of the love line in this drama. I do get them honestly, that there's been a lot of exposure of the romance instead of the legal cases in this drama. The effect of this drama could have been more impactful if the writer gave more exposure to that battle between Oh Soo Jae and Choi Tae Guk or some legal cases handled by Oh Soo Jae. Or, if the writer made Gong Chan a more interesting character. Although I do enjoy the romance between Oh Soo Jae and Gong Chan, I couldn't agree more when some viewers wanted the writer to at least make Gong Chan an interesting character. We're already near the end and all Gong Chan could do was to be madly in love with Oh Soo Jae and cry over his past. Other than that, there's nothing at all. He's too underdeveloped and uninteresting.

Considering that Oh Soo Jae is such a powerful woman that goes trough a LOT, Gong Chan as a character really doesn't weigh anything compared to her at all. Yes, he's there when she needed him... but up until when? Up until when will Oh Soo Jae play with him considering that she has A LOT more important things to deal with in her life? Hmmm.. Upon watching this episode, it feels like Oh Soo Jae won't be seeing Gong Chan much at all. Without Oh Soo Jae, Gong Chan individually doesn't really stand out at all.
