So it's confirmed that due to the electrocution that happened to Song Ki Baek, it affected his brain that causes him to act out of his personality. The fact that he can speak things that only he meant, he has become an adult who do not lie. This is so freaking awesome in my perspective because not all adults cannot lie because we are all living in lies. lol I mean, there's always hierarchy in our society especially in any workplace, we always try to be that 'role model' to suit any job we wanted. Speaking insincere sweet words and flattery has become a major skill to survive this hierarchy. Most, if not all, adults working could relate to that for sure. This is a sad truth, but yes, even giving respect can become a lie. It's all for survival and we call it 'professionalism' nowadays. This is why I'm amused to what's happening to Song Ki Baek, him speaking only the truth. However, since then, his career is starting to crumble. Not all people are ready

WENDY's LIKE WATER Solo Mini-Album Achievements Within The First 24 Hours

I just have to compile everything in here because I am so proud of her and I know that there will be time, in the near future, wherein she will outdo her own personal records so this will become my reference to go back to every time. Also, since Like Water is Wendy's solo debut album, I want to archive everything and not miss out because she's that essential to my mentality that I have to know if she's been doing well and with her current set of records achieved, I'm feeling great that everything is going smoothly and incredibly well. Yep, I'm her long lost mother but not by blood though. I'm that much proud of her.

Wendy is very powerful singer, an artist overall so people will slowly hear her out and it's manifesting now with her solo debut achievements so I have to share this out to the world. She's an amazing person too so she deserves all the attention! I will not get tired of saying that here on the blog even if in a long run. I've been doing this ever since I've become a Reveluv and I will continue to do so and spread the word to the world about how amazing Wendy really is as an artist and as a person. Oh God, I love Wendy so much! Anyways, without further ado, let me share to you Wendy's achievements gained through her solo album "LIKE WATER".


As of 12:00/01 AM | April 6, 2021 - DOMESTIC ALBUM CHARTS
  • Hanteo recorded a 68,225 as Wendy's Like Water album sales on its first day.
  • It became the 89th highest selling album in Hanteo's all time record.
  • This first day sale should have been higher if SM Entertainment stocked several copies, really. It was only first day but the album was already sold out in SM Store, Synnara and more so SM really sabotaged Wendy on this one. The record might have gone higher than this.
  • This album sales of Like Water made Wendy the 2nd SM female soloist with high album sales on the first day next to Taeyeon and 5th among all other Female soloists in Korea.
  • It became Red Velvet's 2nd highest selling album as well. 

As of  8 AM | April 6, 2021 - WORLDWIDE iTunes ALBUM CHART

10 AM | April 6, 2021 - iTunes TOP ALBUM CHARTS IN 30 COUNTRIES
  • Wendy officially became the title holder for the FIRST Korean female solo singer that topped the iTunes top album charts in 30 international regions with "LIKE WATER". Yup, her solo album did that. Wendy, the soloist, did that!
  • Also, correct me if I'm wrong, Taeyeon was the one who holds the previous record of topping the iTunes album charts with 24 countries with Purpose (2019), and this day, Wendy outdid that record with 30 countries. Yes, we just got to admit that they are the SM VOCAL QUEENS and they are reigning the world!
  • Official Red Velvet accounts posted about it and several articles on naver were written about it too!

11AM | April 6, 2021 -MELON ARTIST CHART
  • WENDY ranked 2nd in the female soloist in Melon Artist Chart and 3rd on the overall (male & female)


6PM | April 6, 2021 - YOUTUBE 
  • Wendy's LIKE WATER music video accumulated a 3.1 million views and 677 thousand likes on YouTube within the first 24 hours!
