We all know that I've been a huge fan of AKB48 before. And I think it's only proper for me to actually celebrate a very important event of their lives. That's non other than their "marriage".
Yep, that thing is inevitable like Thanos.
Anyway, in commemoration of all the broken hearts I mean the marriage of our favorite idols from the past, let me list down here their marriage announcement dates.
1. Maeda Atsuko (Announcement: July 31, 2018)
Who would ever know that the first ever member of Kami 7 that announced graduation would be the first one to get married as well? Just proved she's first at anything not just the general elections. lol
Kidding aside, according to the news, Maeda and her lucky husband registered their marriage July 30, 2018. Their corresponding agencies delivered the news to every Japanese media the following day. By August 1, 2018 the husband actually posted on his instagram which basically to confirm and send thank you greetings.
If in case you are curious, Maeda was 27 years old and her husband was 31 years old by the time they tied the knot.
Well at least our Maeda is now happy and with a baby boy now. Huwa! Time surely flies by so fast! I can't believe we're all getting old.
2. Shinoda Mariko (Announcement: February 20, 2019)
So the next one is non other than our very own AKB troll, Shinoda Mariko. This very much warmed my heart because according to her instagram caption, she's a person that does not aspire to get married but then because of this guy her thoughts changed. Now that's very admirable for the guy to actually able to change her outlook towards marriage. I bet he's indeed a wonderful person. I sincerely am very happy for her.
Shinoda announced marriage February 20, 2019 on her official blog with a hand written letter saying that they registered their marriage February 16, 2019. What's interesting about this is that the non-showbiz guy actually proposed on their 1st date together. It's a relief though that they met October 2018 so the proposal isn't anything like Frozen scenario. lol
On February 21, 2019, she posted an announcement through her instagram.
Shinoda was 32 years old by the time she got married and her husband was 3 years younger than her.
3. Takahashi Minami (Announcement: May 02, 2019)
Of all the first 3 marriages from the Kami 7, this perhaps left me worried a bit. The guy was 15 years older than her and I'm afraid that there might be some differences that may occur in the future. Although we all know how mature our Takahashi is but you know it's still worrisome. But I'm rooting for Takahashi to prove their love for the rest of their lives.
Anyway, Takahashi wrote on her instagram and twitter regarding her marriage on May 02, 2019. They registered their marriage on the first day of Reiwa era, May 01, 2019. I think it is the same guy on the news that broke after Takahashi graduated that she's dating an IT guy 15 years older than her. Well at least they've dated that long before their marriage. I believe they got to know each other well already, who knows.
Takahashi was 28 years old when she got married.
So basically there's only Kojima Haruna, Tomomi Itano, Oshima Yuko, and Watanabe Mayu who remained unmarried at this point in time. But as per Takahashi's interview on Daily Sports newspaper, she guesses that Kojiharu would be the next one to get married in the original Kami 7 group. Well she's already 31 years old so I think it's okay.
Now that ends our list for this point in time, come to think of it our atsumina are both married. That ends our delusions alright. But still, as an avid atsumina fan before I totally respect their marriages and wishes them to be happy for the rest of their lives. My wish is the same for Mariko and the other members as well. Yay!
