Park Eun Bin Transforms into a Genius Doctor who Works in the Shadow in "Hyper Knife"

Park Eun Bin once again left me in awe by her versatility as an actress. I love her for that! This new series of hers, Hyper Knife, is a medical/crime/thriller drama that I absolutely enjoy watching lately. This got me really excited, tbh. I wasn't really expecting anything much from it when I started watching it, as I don't really read synopsis before watching anything, but it just got me hooked as episode 1 gone by. The concept where the one who oppressed the protagonist before and seeking her help now is what made me really excited. lol I want to see Jung Se Ok to disregard the old man's wishes to help him. haha! But the old man does dirty works too, he's persuading her to operate on him by threatening her to stop her from doing surgeries in the shadows.

Obviously, Jung Se Ok is a genius, but there's something off about her overall as a person. She loves brain surgeries so much that it turned into obsession. If someone gets in the way of her performing surgeries (even without a license), she'll get rid of them. When Se Ok was only studying, everyone around her knows that she's a little crazy, so there's really nothing new. Professor Deok Hee, who's a genius as well, took Se Ok as one of his students. But as time goes by, whenever Se Ok didn't get what she desired, her self issues were taking in charge putting everything on the line. It's a mental issue where she can't think before acting on her anger. Hmmm... She shouted at the professor when she wasn't the one chosen to send to Boston and she strangled the professor when she was stopped from doing surgery. The issues were already there with her from the very start so I'm not entirely surprised to see her become a serial killer. But I guess the professor killing her dreams became her ultimate drive to become a murderer because this time, she doesn't want anybody to stop her from doing what she likes the most.

This drama is really dark but I find it really intriguing because even though I know that Se Ok's doing the wrong things, I still end up rooting for her. LOL I know, I know, it's a mess but it's a drama so I can feel whatever emotion I wanted. So if you're against it, then might as well create your own blog or facebook page. HAHA! Anyway, I'm really interested to see if Se Ok would actually help the professor because at one point in her life... she's a huge fan of this professor after all. It's like a admiration (for his skills) that turned into hate. The question is, will that hate turn into admiration once again?
