Jo In Sung Reunites With His Family In Moving Episode 20

I know, I'm so late with this drama already! It ended last September 20 and I only had the time to watch it yesterday and react today. Geez, a lot had happened to me since the start of September, it was all bad and traumatic so I had to stop watching for a while in order for me to 'recover' from it. Anyways, life goes on so... I need to move forward in life no matter what. Sigh.. Life is definitely scary but that's for another blog entry for me to discuss my experience with it... that is... if you're interested if not then just ignore this.
Anyways, back to Moving kdrama.. waaaah! I so love it that all the agents with special abilities were able to showcase their powers battling the black agents from North Korea. We got to see how amazing Miyeon really is as an agent and a mother protecting her child Bongseok. Her heightened senses really made her so powerful, her gunshots were on-point and her hearing ability boosted her talent in shooting. That really made me respect Miyeon so much as a powerful agent. This also answers as to why their chief appointed Miyeon before to spy/catch Doo Sik, she's really an ace agent.
As usual, my favorite kind hearted monster Jang Ju Won fights till the end. This man who never knows how to give up because he's fighting for his own beliefs and for the safety of the kids with special abilities most especially for her daughter Jang Hui Soo. Speaking of Hui Soo, she made Bong Seok awakened his ability in flying and heightened senses by fighting an agent from North. That scene were Bong Seok flies through that glass window gave me goosebumps. Gosh and at the end, Bong Seok became a superhero saving those in need. He's basically living up to that 'superhero' life with the use of his cool powers.

One of my favorite part of the entire South vs. North battle is that, Gang Hoon was able to witness how powerful his father really is. I know that Gang Hoon really loves his father despite him not being vocal about it but for him to be able to wtiness also how much his father was willing to do anything to save him from those who wanted to hurt him was really a touching scene for me. And from there onwards, Gang Hoon seemed to become more expressive of his feelings towards his father. And he wanted to join NIS in exchange of his father's criminal records deleted. Awww the sacrifice.. Gang Hoon, you're a real man now.

All the black agents from North also have a sad life, they've gone through so much just because they have these special abilities that they did not even asked for. With this experience being same with the agents of the South, they were all able to understand each other in the end. The flying agent from North freed Doo Sik, perhaps as thanks also for South agents freeing him. They are all fighting not for the state but for their lives and family. Something that makes them all similar.

It's all done.. and am so ready for season 2! If there are any?

Ryoo Seung-Ryong Sheds Tears For A Sudden Separation With Kwak Sun Young In Moving Episode 13

Oh my goodness. This is probably one of the saddest episode of the entire series. Waah my Juwon and Jihee couple, I can't take it. Why is fate had to be this cruel to them? They just love each other so much but they ended up separated because of sudden death. If this has something to do with their deputy at work then I'm gonna flip for real. GAH!

So basically in this episode 13, we got to see the sudden shift of Juwon's working life from being a weapon on the field to a salaryman in front of the computer. The struggle was definitely real and visible and it's taking a toll on his existence. When he was eating barbecue with his wife, Ji Hee, and opening up about how he felt useless in this world while munching down his food like it was a normal thing to say, Ji Hee blurted out how much he meant to him. And that truly boosted his confidence back again and endure the work that he hates the most. But of course, just because he got encourage doesn't mean all his problems would be resolved. Juwon still felt being dragged at a work that he doesn't find suitable nor meaningful to him, he was still left bothered by it and Ji Hee witnessed it all. And so, just like any loving wife to their husband, she told him that she'll be by his side/support him whatever it was that he wanted to do in life even if that means he resign to his work and find something else fitting for him.

Jo In Sung And Han Hyo Joo Shares A Wonderful But Tragic Love Story In Moving Episode 12

Episode 12

Oh gosh, I really am simping over Jo In Sung in this drama. I really am a big fan of bad boy looks but is a softie inside and he's a tall guy too! Oh my goodness, I'm so in love with him. Been a fan of his looks ever since I saw him in Memories of Bali with yet another favorite oppa of mine, So Ji Sub. These two really are my all time favorite ahjussis/oppa. hahaha! You can't blame me for that. But now, Jo In Sung is the one left available so... I'm just gonna savor every moments that Jo In Sung is still not married. kkkk

Anyways, going back to episode 12, we're able to see the weird partnership between Doo Sik and Ju Won. If we're going to see only the surface of it, we'll definitely comment they're weird and aloof. But I guess that's just their dynamics. They're both a man of their own and showing feelings openly must be too sappy for them so they do it in their own manly ways of expressions/actions. lol But the fact that they're trying to understand every word they say to each other, mostly Ju Won with Doo Sik, I know there's still something deeper than what we see of them.

"I don't let just anyone use it." It's Doo Sik telling Ju Won about the knife he made him use to remove the bullet from his arms. It's an expression how much Juwon is important to Doo Sik. Doo Sik doesn't even use that knife even though he carries it with him all the time because it was the only memorabilia left to him by his late father. And the fact that he even left the knife to Juwon after he escaped, that really means a lot! And so I don't really think that they separated like their didn't matter at all to Doo Sik. Doo Sik is a selfless person when it comes to his loved ones as I observed it. He doesn't want people around him to suffer and so I think that not reconnecting with Juwon about his whereabouts were more than enough of a sign how much he means to him. Juwon has Ji Hee after all, and Doo Sik knew about how much they mean to each other. I just hope that Juwon understood well what Doo Sik is trying to tell him here.

And then there's the continuation of Doo Sik's love story with Mi Hyun. I honestly got sad with the 'betrayal' scene and Doo Sik firing a gunshot towards Mi Hyun. Thank goodness it was all planned because my heart couldn't take it how much Doo Sik looked so devastated! Wah! So in the end, Doo Sik knew everything that happened in Mi Hyun's life, how she's tied to the company because of her sick father as well as what the deputy's plans were. My goodness, everything was so painful but thankfully they met after all the chaos or at least they tasted peace together even for a short while. And there, Bong Seok was born. The cutie floating Bong Seok.

There, we got to see the influence of Doo Sik to how Mi Hyun and Bong Seok are living in the present. The Donkatsu restaurant was there and Mi Hyun did all her might in restricting Bong Seok from using his powers and getting exposed due to his promise with Doo Sik. Mi Hyun's love for him was immense, we got to witness all her waiting moments for him and all her actions after. What Doo Sik and Mi Hyun has for each other was really beautiful but tragic as well.

But wait until you see Juwon and Ji Hee's love story! Waaah! But I'll react to that on a different blog post!!!

The Man Who Can't Find His Way Found His Compass In Moving Episodes 11 & 12

EDIT: The Man Who Can't Find His Way Found His Compass In Moving Episodes 10 & 11

You know what? This series is really surpassing my amazement every new episodes out. It's like, I thought that last week's episode was so good and then boom they dropped episodes 10 and 11. I just couldn't pick one favorite episode at all! I am so in love with every characters' back story plus discovering their wonderful and heart melting love lives. lol I know, this ain't a love story centered drama, but I'm pretty sure the writer put those love stories in this series because they wanted to make us feel things through it too! And I guess they did pretty well on that part as well! So stop commenting on my Facebook page as if reminding me always that this ain't a love story. Like, hello? I know!

Anyways, just the typical kind hearted person, they always ended up being deceived and taken advantage of greedy evil people. That's basically what happened to Jang Ju Won. Possessing a strong and self regenerating body, Jang Ju Won used it very well but according to him, uses it only in the easiest way possible he could. He needs money, then he'll use his supernatural ability to get hit by a car as if everything was an accident and get settlement money out of it. Bam, he has money to pay his rent. Jang Ju Won used the same ability as well in order to gain 'family' beside him. He joined a gang to which he treated everyone to be his family and fought for them only to deceived in the end. Sheeshhh... I knew that was coming. It's just so sad that he really believed and trusted his boss and gang members.
As he tried to live the easy way, he became lost literally in life. Well, yes he has no sense of direction as what we've witnessed in these episodes. But I do think that whenever he's saying that he couldn't find his way, he's also referring to his life. He's unsure where he also wanted to take it. Unsure what destination he's going. Remember when he was fighting with Minki at the end? Where he couldn't move because he got flattened by a car when they fell? He blurted out that he couldn't find his way. What else was he was referring to at that time? Probably hallucinating already after all the things he had gone thru. Yeah he has super powers of a strong body and regeneration but it did not imply that he cannot feel tired too. So I thought and assumed that he was hallucinating at that time and that he found his direction only because of Jihee. When they both got hit by the goons' van, the got separated once again and so he got lost once again. In the ending scene also, he said that he still has a hard time finding his way... but he tried to be there where Jihee was. Where both his compass and destination was. Definitely romantic, huh?

The love story of Ju Won and Jihee was really beautiful to me. It's like they came out literally from the comic book, the one that they were talking about in their coffee dates inside a motel room. Gosh. It's beauty and the beast indeed! lol It was romantic really, how they met and how they ended up. Not caring about their past, what matters to them was the person in front of them, the present and the future they could create together. No judgment at all. Dang!

Star Studded Cast Caught Me Addicted to Moving Kdrama | I'm Head Over Heels In Love With Jo In Sung

I finally was able to catch up to the now trending new Korean drama called Moving. The star studded cast flashing through my Facebook timeline, there's no I way I could ever turn a blind eye to this no matter how busy I am lately. So slowly, I inserted new episodes to watch everyday as much as I can in the office or wherever I am and finally! Gosh! I'm finally in love again with a Kdrama! With 9 episodes out now (still on-going), I can say that this climbed up to one of my favorite dramas of 2023.

At first I really did not expect that it'll center about supernatural abilities. I really had no idea because I've seen only posters/still cuts on my Facebook feed but still, I did not regret not researching more about it before watching because it's definitely a pleasant surprise for me. It was Jo In Sung and Han Hyo Joo that made me really itchy about watching this and so I was seated for them, but it started out with the kids and God! They're so cute I've totally fallen for them.

What I like about this drama is that, it wasn't the usual/typical Kdrama where the story is starting, progressing and ending solely on the two main protagonists and just added a pinch of side character stories to add a little flavor. Moving actually has this addicting flow of story where it'll start to certain characters then we get addicted to them but eventually will progress widely where other new interesting character would be introduced and take over the story. It'll continue progressing like that but what's interesting and exciting about it is, we get immersed with new characters stories but it does not abandon the original starting point of everything. Gosh it's so amazing! I love it so much!

It started with introducing Kim Bong Seok (Lee Jeong Ha) trying hard to live his day to day life normally while carrying a major secret of having supernatural abilities, mainly flying and heightened senses, which he inherited from his parents. His mother Lee Min Hyun (Han Hyo Joo) was the one taking care of him and is making a living for the both of them by running a Dongkatsu restaurant which later in the story we found out to be Kim Doo Sik (Jo In Sung)'s favorite dish. Yep, Kim Bong Seok's father.

Kim Bong Seok then started liking a girl at school named Jang Hui Soo (Go Yoon Jung) and since then his life bloomed and his journey of acceptance to his own supernatural abilities started. From there, the connections of each characters branched out and the story became very much interesting. Jang Hui Soo also has a supernatural ability of not getting hurt just like her father Jang Ju Won (Ryu Seung Ryong). Does this mean she's immortal? How different is she and her father to their enemy Frank? Frank (Ryoo Sung Bum) regenerates whenever he has injuries, what about Hui Soo and her father? Can we consider the 3 of them immortal or nah?!

Gosh there are so many interesting characters here and it's Frank the enemy that discloses everything to us. He started his mission of annihilating those ex-agents with supernatural abilities and so we got to witness their powers through fighting for their lives. Too bad all of them died, but we still have major 4 ex-agents (parents to 4 different families) still living. And so I think that's where the 2nd half would be all about! Frank vs all other existing supernatural beings! I'm so excited about this already!

Before I end this, can I just comment how much I love Min Hyun and Doo Sik's love story? They both intentionally failed their missions because of their 'humanity'. I found it so beautiful how Min Hyun started it all but Doo Sik was there watching her doing a good deed, a sacrifice, and chose to ignore his superiors to do something about Min Hyun's mess. He fell in love instantly and when they crossed path again in the future because of Min Hyun's secrete mission in approaching him to get his secrets, Doo Sik already knew everything about her. God, it's so amazing and adorable. I'm so in love with them and their love story! Too bad they're caught with all these conflicts and the nations special operations. The country treating them nothing but secret weapons and I just hope they would be able to prevent this from happening to their children now. tsk tsk.
