Go Kyung Pyo Protected His Heart and Dream In Frankly Speaking Episode 3

This episode tells us exactly what it means to be protecting our hearts by expressing what we really mean and by standing up for our own self including our dreams. Nobody would be able to protect us but ourselves. This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. He was so used to living in lies and sugarcoat everything that he lost his true self to get himself to his desired dream/goal. Now that he got a disease of telling only the truth, it

See You in My 10th Life And King the Land Weekend Dramas Get Off To A Strong Start!

The two new weekend Kdramas See You in My 19th Life and King the Land started off strong with their respective nationwide viewership ratings. See You in My 19th Life garnered 4.27% on its first episode while King the Land has 5.08%. Their 2nd episode tops their first episodes too telling us all how well received their pilot episode became. See You in My 19th Life had 5.49% on its 2nd episode while King the Land has 7.54% nationwide viewership ratings.

King the Land airs 10:30pm KST every Saturday-Sunday on JTBC while See You in My 19th Life airs 9:10pm KST on tvN. They are of different time slots, thank goodness but competition on which weekend drama is the strongest will still remain for the two. As of now, King the Land is more well received by the viewers judging by their ratings.

However, if I'll pick between the two, I think I prefer See You in My 19th Life more than King the Land. Maybe because it has less predictability on how the story would unfold. I find the plot of See You in My 19th Life more interesting since we're looking at fantasy where it requires us to be curious behind the mystery of reincarnation. They are both set-up in the modern world but SYM19L flashback brings us to different eras which is much more interesting. But hey, we're still at episode 2 so my preference might change as more episodes of each dramas comes out. Let's stay tuned!
