It hasn't been a week since the drama ended but I'm already feeling the separation anxiety. lol This drama ain't just a mere filler in between 2 seasons of The Penthouse, this is more than just that. Averaging a 12.6% nationwide viewership rating definitely can't be called like that. So to commemorate the ending of this drama I'll create another post about Taxi Driver here in my blog and I think this one is very interesting.
The main actors of Taxi Driver pick their favorite scenes and here are their answers:
Lee Je Hoon chose the car chasing scenes wherein Kim Do Ki flips the criminal's car, he mentioned that it was a thrilling experience and satisfying as a viewer at the same time.
When asked about his favorite line he mentioned about investigator Wang's words to prosecutor Kang Ha Na from episode 5, "I want you to stick to your organization for a long time. Don't go after money, don't go anywhere, and endure it. To hold out in that organization, don't break down. The bamboo is easily broken by the wind because it's so straight, but the grass stands back up no matter how hard the wind blows. Act like the bamboo, but get back up like grass. Don't break down and endure."
This is one of the reasons why prosecutor Kang Ha Na is blessed with a good partner in her work. Investigator Wang was really her great support during the hard times, his words of wisdom was her saving grace from losing it all, it's saddening that he was killed along the way.
Esom, on the other hand, picks the scene wherein Kang Ha Na asked for Kim Do Ki's help in avenging Mr. Wang in episode 12. This was my favorite scene too! OMG! Esom explained, "It's the scene where Kang Ha Na's belief that justice should be carried out within the boundaries of the law is changed and the complex changes in Kang Ha Na's mind were clearly depicted."
That scene really was very impressionable and I'm happy that Esom acknowledges that as well.
Kim Eui Sung who portrayed the character of CEO Jang Sung Chul of Rainbow Taxi company selected the scene where Kim Do Ki went all out in episode 14 to defeat Baek Sung Mi's men and save his comrades under her custody at that time.
Cha Ji Yeon who portrayed the role of a 'godmother' named Baek Sung Mi said the ending of the episode 12 where she betrayed Rainbow Taxi was her favorite scene. She further explained that when she told to CEO Jang that everything was according to her plan (including pretending that she was on their side) was very thrilling to her and it felt like she was the final villain in the drama.
This is definitely true! I am so satisfied that the final villain was a female and it was her! That was really sick!
And last but not the least, Pyo Ye Jin who took the role of Go Eun picks the scene from episode 8 wherein they blow up the server of U-data along with its wicked CEO. When asked about her favorite line, she chose Kim Do Ki's "5283 starting service now" as her favorite. She described that it made her heart pound with excitement.
