Lee Do Hyun And Go Min Si Stayed In Gwangju To Help The Harmed Civilians In Youth of May Episode 9

Kim Myung Hee (Go Min Si) and Hwang Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) stayed in Gwangju for the sake of the people who received assault from the military because of martial law.

In the episode broadcasted on May 31 in South Korean channel KBS TV2, Hwang Hee Tae wore the doctor's gown and attended to the people who were harmed by the military after receiving persuasion from girlfriend, Kim Myung Hee.

After the proclamation of martial law, Hee Tae called out to Myung Hee,who was at that time treating a civilian that was assaulted by the armed soldiers, and bluntly said, "What are you doing? Didn't you promise that we'll leave once it's morning?"

Myung Hee then replied with opposing tone, "Right now, we have an overflowing patient coming in and there are not enough beds. You see it too, right?" but Hee Tae only said, "I saw it that's why we have to go. Right now we can't do anything here."

Furthermore he added, "I'm also in despair but we cannot do anything about it. Right now, to me, your safety is my top priority." But Myung Hee said with strong volition "I understand what you feel but we at least can put out the fire." Eventually, Hee Tae gave in and wore the doctor's gown and started helping out.
