According to research agency Nielsen, the episode aired August 12 of tvN's Thursday drama Hospital Playlist 2 recorded a nationwide rating of 13.12%.
The numbers climbed from last week's episode 7's nationwide viewership rating of 10.643%. It returned to 13% in a span of two weeks from their episode 6 that has their best nationwide viewership rating of 13.151%.
In episode 8, Ahn Jeong Won's mother, Rosa, was diagnosed with hydrocephalus and not Alzheimer's disease while Chae Song Hwa's mother got diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
This episode really is worth to have that high viewership rating. It has a heartwarming and relatable scenes that could make everyone feel human emotions again. lol
