Go Kyung Pyo Protected His Heart and Dream In Frankly Speaking Episode 3

This episode tells us exactly what it means to be protecting our hearts by expressing what we really mean and by standing up for our own self including our dreams. Nobody would be able to protect us but ourselves. This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. He was so used to living in lies and sugarcoat everything that he lost his true self to get himself to his desired dream/goal. Now that he got a disease of telling only the truth, it

Seo Dal Mi Loses Trust And Confidence In Herself | Start-Up Episode 10

We are all so hooked up with the romance between the 3 leads that we're forgetting that there's more into it than just that. Now that Dal Mi knew everything, of course we shouldn't expect her to choose right off there and then, she has the right to take her time and resolve her feelings.

Due to the lie, Dal Mi's confidence got sucked out of her and it's one of the worst feelings ever as a person. She no longer believes in the people around her and even in herself that she lost all the motivation to chase her dreams that she has from the beginning. But as I have mentioned before, what made this drama interesting is that it solves problems (aside from the main romance) with a ready solution built up in the drama. In the case of Dal Mi's, loss of motivation, the drama just need to make her sister Won In Jae step on the scenes again because Dal Mi's main reason, the root why she's doing start-up business, is all because she wanted to prove that choosing her father was never a wrong decision to her sister and mother. It's really effective and it's so well thought of. It really feels like everything and every characters here are well used and has their own purpose to make the drama much more interesting than it is now. I can't wait how Dal Mi, grandma, sister and mother would revive their relationship but I think it's starting to sail off now.

Anyways, I am so happy that Do San is mustering up his courage to console Dal Mi through it all despite the confusion and anger involved. It's like Do San is finally stepping up his game, trying to stand on his own feet for Dal Mi to believe in him again. That's more I like it, the character development is starting. But of course, as the story progresses in favor of Do San, my heart still aches for Ji Pyeong. I'm holding onto this drama that it will still give him at least a fighting chance for Dal Mi, even though he's just a second lead. Ah, this is so painful but it's a reality that he's the second lead.
