“The Ordinary Jackpot” Unveils Lee Jun Hyuk’s Transformation Ahead of Premiere

TVING’s upcoming series “The Ordinary Jackpot” has released new character stills featuring Lee Jun Hyuk as Gong Eun Tae, an overworked team leader whose ordinary life changes after winning 1.3 billion won in the lottery.

Rather than immediately quitting his job, Eun Tae returns to the office with his lottery winnings as a safety net. The new stills highlight the contrast between his exhausted self before the jackpot and the subtle shift in his attitude afterward.

Lee Jun Hyuk described Eun Tae as a hardworking office worker who always gives his best despite the pressures of his job. He also teased the character’s understated emotional changes as he adjusts to his unexpected fortune.

“A Love Other Than You” Explores the Changing Face of Long-Term Love

KBS 2TV’s upcoming weekend drama “A Love Other Than You” is gearing up to tell a more grounded and emotional story about love that has lasted for a decade.

Starring Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin, the drama centers on a couple who have been together for 10 years. After spending so much time knowing each other, they suddenly find themselves facing unfamiliar feelings that challenge the relationship they thought they understood.

Rather than focusing on an idealized romance, “A Love Other Than You” aims to portray the honest and complicated emotions that can emerge in a long-term relationship, including feelings that are difficult to admit even to the person closest to you.

The new realistic melodrama is scheduled to premiere on September 12 on KBS 2TV. ❤️‍🩹

SBS’s “Flex x Cop 2” is raising questions about Yoo Sung Won’s true intentions with newly released stills showcasing the character’s strikingly different sides.

Played by Yoo Seung Ho, Yoo Sung Won is a wealthy third-generation chaebol and internationally recognized sculptor. Despite his polished image, he has caught the attention of detective Joo Hye Ra (Jung Eun Chae), who has been suspicious of him for some time.

At his homecoming exhibition, Sung Won appears warm and approachable, greeting guests with a bright smile. However, other scenes reveal a noticeably darker side, as his sharp expression and unsettling demeanor hint that there may be more beneath his seemingly innocent exterior.

10 favorite K-dramas I watched in 2025

Here are my 10 favorite K-dramas I watched in 2025.
Please note that this list is purely based on my personal taste, and it’s in no particular order.

1. Buried Hearts
This drama made me fall in love with Park Hyung Sik. The story is incredibly intriguing, and the ending is haunting. Up until now, I can still feel the heaviness it left behind. It was a great show overall.

2. Study Group
I rarely enjoy high school dramas these days, but this one kept me hooked until the very end. I genuinely loved it.

Put AAA in front of each awards name btw, if not put there some award names are so weird. lol One thing I don't like about Kpop and Kdrama awards are them putting awards that aren't even significant. I mean it felt like they just inserted these awards to make sure these popular artists' attendance so that the ceremony could actually make some noise because of their large fanbases. I'm not gonna mention what these 'weird' awards are but you can pinpoint as you read the list of winners. lol

Byeon Woo Seok Tops Actor Brand Reputation for the Month of June

Byeon Woo Seok's career is really skyrocketing during and after Lovely Runner drama. To be honest, after watching him in Strong Girl Nam Soon, I really thought he was a big star already but I was so wrong. It was only because of Lovely Runner that he really gained huge popularity that could already be considered as phenomenal in the Kdrama world. I can't believe that directors, producers and fans were sleeping on him for a very long time and even rejected him several times. I'm glad that he's finally having that deserving spotlight on him!

Anyway, according to The Korean Business Research Institute, Byeon Woo Seok tops the Actor Brand Reputation for the month of June (ranging from May 27 to June 27). Here's the full top 10 list:

1. Byeon Woo Seok

2. Chun Woo Hee

3. Ma Deong Seok

4. Song Seung Heon

5. Lee Jung Jae

6. Kim Hye Yoon

7. Song Geon Hee

8. Roh Jeong Eui

9. Son Suk Ku

10. Wi Ha Joon

Kim Ha Neul and Jung Ji Hoon (Rain) to Lead Disney+ Drama "Red Swan" | Premieres July 03

Red Swan will have 10 episodes and it will tell a story about Wan Soo (Kim Ha Neul) who was born poor but turns her life around and became a well known golf player. Still, not able to pay her mother's debt, she married an heir of Hwain Group. Throughout their marriage however, Wan Soo became unhappy after she found out about the affair of her husband.

As an ambassador of a foundation that's known for its charity work, Wan Soo encountered a gun fight after she came to Manila. She survived this nightmare as she was protected by Hwain Group's body guard named Do Yoon (Rain/Jung Ji Hoon). After a while of being together and discovering secrets of the Hwain family, Wan Soo developed feelings for Do Yoon.

Hmm... sounds promising, right? I'm actually looking forward to this. I first watched Kim Ha Neul in the drama 18 again and it'll be my second time to watch her again but in different genre! I'd like to see her chemistry with Rain too.

Gong Yoo and Song Hye Kyo In a Contemporary Historical Drama Soon? Gong Yoo Considering the Offer

This news is only about them considering the role and it already has stirred up the whole Kdrama community what more if this drama with them really happened?! Mind blowing! I really do hope that Gong Yoo would take this role positively as I really am wanting to see him with Song Hye Kyo in a drama. I'm not really sure how they'll do it but I'm curious as to how the both of them would make the drama work out. At this point, they are considered to be living legends in the industry (at least by me) since they've come a long way and their names up until today are still trending. Longevity is hard to achieve in their field considering that every year there are rising actors/actresses being known powered by social media but here they are still relevant!

The drama is penned by award winning screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung (That Winter, The Wind Blows) and will be directed by Coffee Prince Director Lee Yoon Jung. If both actors are going to accept their respective offers, Song Hye Kyo will be reuniting thrice already with the screenwriter and Gong Yoo will reunite the 2nd time with the director.

The said drama, unnamed yet, is a contemporary historical drama that will be about individuals in the showbiz industry.

It really is nice when you have good friends in the industry that you're working in. You get their support in whatever endeavor you take and that's what's happening right now with Jo Jung Suk.

Recently I have mentioned that Jo Jung Suk will debut as a singer, and it will be documented into a reality show by Netflix called A-List to Playlist. His good friends will take part in the said reality show to deliver their support to him.

And now in the recent report, it is said that co-actor and friend Jung Kyung Ho from Hospital Playlist will also take part as the director of Jo Jung Suk's debut music video with Gong Hyo Jin! Ah! I'm so excited! Even though this isn't a reunion for a drama, I am still happy to see them interact with each other again on screen! I can't wait to watch this show really, so I hope Netflix would announce the release date of this on their streaming platform soon so I could mark the date already! Yay!

Why Did Kim Sae Ron Posted a Photo of Her and Kim Soo Hyun and Deleted it After?!

I really don't understand what's happening to Kim Sae Ron, why she's making all this ruckus in the Kdrama world now when she has already a lot on her plate to deal with. I'm not a fan of this girl ever since but I've heard and read a lot of negative news about her. She's been around the showbiz industry since she was 9, so I thought that explains her built up attitude.

Unlike child actors Kim Yoojung, Lee Se Young and more who have clean images from when they were children to now in their adulthood, Kim Sae Ron is engulfed with different controversies. Involved with alcohol controversies, gifting fan gifts she received to others, impulsive quitting a drama she's been casted, drunk driving and now grabbing attention from posting and quickly deleting a photo of her and Kim Soo Hyun on her instagram.

This has made a ruckus inside the Kdrama world as it arises dating speculations just when Queen of Tears drama is creating a hype. However, Kim Soo Hyun's agency swiftly denied the dating allegations and stated that the photo was taken in the past where Soo Hyun and Sae Ron were under the same agency. They also implied that they do not know the reason behind why Sae Ron impulsively posted and deleted the said controversial photo.

Meanwhile, Sae Ron said that she's preparing her side of story only to leave all reporters in disappointment when she announced that she would no longer comment about it days after. Lol The way she played the media and fans obviously showed how much she was only seeking for attention. It's crazy how she has thought of this way riding the popularity of Kim Soo Hyun's drama Queen of Tears. Sae Ron is not only making herself look foolish and known to be an attention seeker, she's destroying her career more and probably her friendship with Kim Soo Hyun won't be the same again.
