Jo Jung Suk Is Back In The Silver Screen with Pilot and Cross Dresses as a Woman

From being a star pilot Jo Jung Suk's character Han Jeong Woo in the upcoming film entitled "Pilot" became unemployed overnight. On the bright side, he successfully found a job after transforming/cross dressing into a woman and called as Han Jeong Mi. The said film is to be released this coming July 31st and will also star Lee Joo Myung, Han Sun Hwa and Shin Seung Ho. 

Pilot film will also mark Jo Jung Suk's comeback to silver screen after 6 years when he did the blockbuster film Exit (2019). 

Jo Jung Suk surely is versatile when it comes to acting but he sure did enjoy cross dressing roles this year as he returns to Hedwig musical this year and now this, Pilot.

Jung Kyung Ho Will Support Jo Jung Suk's Singing Debut as Director of His Music Video!

It really is nice when you have good friends in the industry that you're working in. You get their support in whatever endeavor you take and that's what's happening right now with Jo Jung Suk. 

Recently I have mentioned that Jo Jung Suk will debut as a singer, and it will be documented into a reality show by Netflix called A-List to Playlist. His good friends will take part in the said reality show to deliver their support to him.

And now in the recent report, it is said that co-actor and friend Jung Kyung Ho from Hospital Playlist will also take part as the director of Jo Jung Suk's debut music video with Gong Hyo Jin! Ah! I'm so excited! Even though this isn't a reunion for a drama, I am still happy to see them interact with each other again on screen! I can't wait to watch this show really, so I hope Netflix would announce the release date of this on their streaming platform soon so I could mark the date already! Yay!

Jo Jung Suk Was Exempted from Military Service Because of Family Circumstances

I was searching more about actor Jo Jung Suk last night since I miss Captivating the King and found out that he's one of those artists who didn't enlist in the military as what other South Korean men were required to do. Of course, enlisting in the military also has eligibility requirements and the most obvious one is that one should be healthy. But this is not what Jo Jung Suk failed to deliver though, he was exempted because he's the only one provider for his mother after his father died in year 2000. He quit school just before he graduated and did musicals to earn money.  

Our man, Jo Jung Suk, is a very respectable man for that matter. Taking responsibility of his only parent and continue on surviving on a daily basis with his hard earned money. His experience in musicals at a young age also piled up to hone him as one of the greatest actors in our day today.

So, it was announced March 20 that Gong Hyo Jin will officially appear in Jo Jung Suk's debut music video. If you aren't aware, Jo Jung Suk is set to debut as a singer in a Netflix original variety show called "A-list to Playlist". It's a project that will venture on Jo Jung Suk's singing career from planning, self-composing his songs to performing it, creating music videos out of it and more. His close friend Jung Sang Hoon will join the show as the CEO of an agency and Moon Sang Hoon will help him out with his debut. The producing director will be Yang Jung Woo of New Journey to the West which Jo Jung Suk will reunite and work with again after 8 years in Youth over Flowers: Iceland. 

This is actually great considering that Jo Jung Suk has new projects after his drama Captivating the King. Jo Jung Suk got more fans because of his excellent performance as the King in that drama so a lot of eyes are set on him and has high expectations on his new projects. Aside from the musical Hedwig, A-list to Playlist adds on his next projects. I love his voice and all but I wish he'll also get a new drama project in the near future!

Jeon Mi Do Likes Jo Jung Suk Back From The Very Start | Hospital Playlist 2 Episode 9

The ending part of this episode 9 really turned all my speculations about Chae Song Hwa's (Jeon Mi Do) feelings towards Ik Joon (Jo Jung Suk) down. I was totally flabbergasted with that sudden flashback! I do know that Chae Song Hwa somehow has special feelings for Ik Joon, and that she's only like Seok Hyeong (Kim Dae Myung) who's kind of slow when it comes to figuring out and putting on label to that feeling, so this whole revelation of her knowing what she really feels about Ik Joon from way back really took me by surprise! This episode, although their screen time was short, totally gave us all understanding of where Chae Song Hwa's coming from when she turned down Ik Joon's indirect confession to her. 

Hospital Playlist 2 Returned To 13% Viewership Rating After 2 Weeks!!

According to research agency Nielsen, the episode aired August 12 of tvN's Thursday drama Hospital Playlist 2 recorded a nationwide rating of 13.12%.  

The numbers climbed from last week's episode 7's nationwide viewership rating of 10.643%. It returned to 13% in a span of two weeks from their episode 6 that has their best nationwide viewership rating of 13.151%.

I think this is the episode wherein I've cried the heaviest in the whole series of Hospital Playlist. We're still at episode 8, and there are still upcoming episodes, but I'm sure to myself that this is already the episode that could make me cry so much like today. Perhaps because I have a soft spot when it comes to parents and elderlies that made this episode 8 really heart wrenching, touching and relatable to me. I feel so attacked. Lol

People Do Not Care How They Look To Others In Desperate Times | Hospital Playlist Episode 7

As expected of a Hospital Playlist episode, it will make you laugh, giggle but it will strike back at you with tear jerking scenes. Gosh, I haven't cried that much in a while. I don't know, but when Ik Joon explained about how one person does not care about how he/she looked around people during desperate times, it really hit hard. When I think about it deeply, it's human nature. At the end of the day, no matter how much you value your image, status in life, we all end up in the same place when in desperate times. Especially when the life of our loved ones are on the line. This thought or fact isn't something that I am not aware of but as time goes by lots of things are forgotten, and so I am glad that this episode reminded me of it again. Ah, this is why I love watching good dramas. It's really not just a waste of time, when we all get entertained and learned a few life lessons from it.
