The Judge from Hell Ends with 11.9% Nationwide Viewership Ratings with Episode 14 | Very Enjoyable Kdrama!!

The Judge from Hell has officially ended Saturday night and here I am still thinking about how beautiful it was. The ending was just so satisfying and every characters, may it be main or side, they were all given fair exposure and developments that were necessary to make a perfect closure. The possibility to have season 2, however, is open and it's something for us to look forward if it'll come to materialize in the future. Bael sends a message to Justitia from Lucifer, the king of Hell, that he has an offer of giving Justitia a chance to live as humans if she sends 10 more sinners to Hell. It's something that Bael doesn't want Justitia to choose since he still considers her as his one and only heir. Sometimes I feel bewitched by the thought that Bael has emotions of appreciation for Justitia but I am trying to dispel that thought 'coz Bael is still a demon (not humanized like Justitia to feel emotions at all). I mean, he was so ready to throw Justitia to eternal death before angel Gabriel came to save her. So, I'm definitely bewitched. lol That creature was only living up to his role in the hierarchal structure of heaven and hell though. kkk

Anyway, I still hope Justitia would choose to live as a human so Daon will have the chance to be happy for a long period of time. That man deserves to be happy after all the unfortunate events that he went through. Also, I can't wait to see more of Justitia in action as a demon chasing after the sinners and send them to hell. However, we all know that it'll be more of a challenge now to Justitia because she already has emotions of a human being unlike before. Justitia already knew it, this is going to weigh her down. But for the love she has for Han Daon, she has to keep trying!

Now the final verdict, will I recommend this Kdrama The Judge from Hell? It's an easy YES from me!

I just loved and enjoyed every bits of this drama. The Judge from Hell really gave us that entertaining story and good character developments for both main and side characters. I am gonna miss the whole cast, for sure.

Park Shin Hye is Determined to Protect Kim Jae Young in "The Judge from Hell" | Episodes 9 and 10 Review

From 13.6% viewership ratings last week, it's now only at 11.4-5% this week. Seems like the viewers don't like the idea of d3m0ns losing their powers because of falling in love again. How many times has this plot twist been used in many kdramas already? Well, generally, so many concepts has been repetitively used even on different dramas too so it's a matter of how good and different the story telling would be now. So far, I'm really loving The Judge from Hell. I, too, don't like the idea that Justitia would weaken at some point in this drama but if the writers can only think of it to write a good character development for Justitia then I'm not gonna complain at all. I just really love Justitia as a character so I'm just gonna embrace these changes she'll go through. I also like Han Daon, so they have my blessing. lol

The ending scene of episode 10 was sad btw, but I believe Da On is still alive. In the preview, Da On's vehicle smashes through an enclosure so I'm not that really worried if he got killed by Paimon protecting Justitia. Speaking of which, Justitia pledge to protect Da On in the ending scene only for Da On to get stabbed protecting her from Paimon. Oh, love birds. They're good for each other, so how can we even complain with them falling in love? kkk

Episodes 9 and 10 are just as good as the previous ones and I love how there's insertion of new demons to fight Justitia like Paimon. The action scenes are superb and it's always fascinating how these demons use their powers to fight. It just proved also how strong Justitia really is as a demon, just in case we're too focused on her being dehumanized, it's a good opportunity to redeem Justitia as a demon. It's like, hey she's still a demon after all, after watching these kind of fight scenes. kkk

So there are only 4 episodes left for this drama and Satan's real identity hasn't been revealed yet. You know what? I, too, have theories of my own and I'm gonna share that in here. Despite Kang Bit-Na's fiancé being an obvious bad person as well as the brother being serial killer J, I still have a feeling that Satan is Jung Jae Gul (the assemblyman). I mean, if you're this powerful creature Satan, surely you're gonna have pawns to work for you, right? Jung Tae Kyu and Serial killer J are humans living like devils under the control of Satan who I think is their father. What do you guys think? Share your theories here.

The Judge From Hell Achieves Double Digits in the Nationwide Viewership Ratings with Episode 6

I've actually expected it to rise quickly in the ratings but it was quicker than I thought. The Judge From Hell replaced a hit drama called Good Partner starring Jang Na Ra and Nam Ji Hyun, for sure the pilot episode got a little bit of influence from the viewers who have tuned in for that drama but in the long run, real The Judge from Hell fans shall remain as viewers. And that's what's exactly happening because the drama caught a lot of attention now! The Judge from Hell reached a 6.8% nationwide viewership ratings with its first episode and now it reached13.1% in its 6th episode. That's really impressive.

Park Shin Hye really is nailing her character as Justitia/Judge Kang Bit Na. This is the real femme fatale character y'all. She reminds me so much of Jang Man Wol from Hotel del Luna tbh, from luxury fashion clothes, cars up to her very entertaining facial reactions. Justitia and Man Wol have the power to take everyone's breath away with just one look. Oh I love these two characters for real. The have the same weakness as well, btw. And it's none other than a man! lol

Episode 6, Gremory turns out to be a demon whose mission is to punish her own kind who's starting to feel human emotions such as falling in love and more. According to Bael too, the demon who falls in love shall experience a punishment worse than death. yayks! Justitia is having symptoms from her love sickness too! Waah I'm scared that Gremory would catch Justitia real soon.

Park Shin Hye Is Starting to Feel Human Emotions Because of Kim Jae Young in "The Judge from Hell" | Episodes 3 and 4 Review

As expected, Justicia in the form of Kang Bitna, got scolded again by Bael after she punished the wrong person. Han Da On is not a murderer as Justicia judged him to be. Because of this, Bael increased the sinners that Justicia needed to deliver to Hell from 10 to 20. If Justicia doesn't obey this task bestowed upon her, Bael would kill her.

Due to this failure, Justicia turned Han Da On very curious about her nature. The detective became very eager to know more about her and confirm if Justicia was telling the truth that she was indeed a demon. Da On sticks with Justicia as she investigate about one of her targets to deliver to hell. Because of working side by side to get to the truth, Justicia begun to get used to Da On's presence. Her heart begun to beat at the end of episode 4, it seems like our demon is beginning to feel human emotions and for her case, she's falling in love. However, Bael said that if demons begun to feel these human emotions such as falling in love, then the consequence would be worse than death. Oh no! Actually this becomes similar with Gu Won of My Demon Kdrama. So if it's the case then I'm not really that much bothered with the ending because My Demon still ended on a happy note.

What actually bothers me most is whether the real Kang Bit Na would come back from fake hell to her body once Justicia cease to exist after falling in love? Because if that happens then, Da On would be confused to the sudden change of personality and definitely will become very lonely because I assume that he would fall for her as well. Either that or both Kang Bit Na and Justicia would cease to exist together.

Han Da On on the other hand, we've seen a glimpse of his sad childhood and life in general with these episodes. His parents got killed by a serial killer J who isn't captured for years yet and is already considered free due to statute of limitations released in 2014. Han Da On and his team are actually after the killer and I feel like this case will be Justicia's last target to solve. Hmmm...

Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young Teams Up for "The Judge from Hell" | Episodes 1 and 2 Review

I think I found a new Kdrama that would entertain me every Fri-Sat of the week. This became the replacement of "Good Partner" in SBS timeslot. Just saw the first 2 episodes and I'm already caught by it. I find it really satisfying the way judge Kang Bit Na/Justitia punishes those cruel criminals by making them experience what they did to their victims. Well this happens when the criminal refuses to admit their sins and repenting from it. The cool part is that, they are all going to hell. Bad guys deserved to rot in there.

The story is about Justitia who is the Goddess of Justice. She became a demon in the form of Kang Bit Na when she entered the human world. Due to some mistake of giving verdict to someone who isn't a murderer, Bael (the director of hell) got mad and gave her task to make up for her mistake. The task is to bring 10 evil human souls to hell in a span of 1 year in order for her to come back to her usual self. Since Kang Bit Na made a mistake with Kang Bit Na's soul, she uses her body to work on this task.

She already sent 1 soul to hell and while in the process of doing that, she met a detective named Han Da On. Last scene of episode 2, Kang Bit Na has set her eyes on him to be her second target to lessen one person on her list. But will she make it? That's what we're about to know in the next episode!

It has a good start. I'm loving this drama already especially how funny Kang Bit Na is and her cruelty adds up to her character. I'm wondering what Han Da On would do to change Kang Bit Na's cruelty. Will he be able to make her sympathize with humans?

The Judge from Hell is doing great with the ratings as well. It recorded 6.8% and 9.3% in the nationwide viewership ratings for its episodes 1 and 2 respectively. Considering that this is the time slot of a hit drama Good Partner before, this ratings is actually expected. I'm pretty sure a lot got hooked with it already so hopefully the ratings would skyrocket too in the upcoming episodes.
