Byeon Eun-A turns out to be the daughter of a famous actress, O Jeung-hui, aka Jang Mi, the actress who brought Mr. Choi’s film to life and earned him millions in ticket sales. However, while waiting to achieve the 10 million ticket sales milestone, a comment on the actress’s social media about her abandoned daughter shook their world.
Mr. Choi, the producer of the film and CEO of Choi Films, ordered the actress’s agency to find the daughter she had abandoned long ago in order to make a statement supporting the actress. Yes, they planned to make her lie. Little did Mr. Choi know, the daughter they were looking for is already within his reach.
What’s crazy about this whole thing is that Mr. Choi continues to make Eun-A’s life miserable, often embarrassing her in front of his employees. We all know he is frustrated that Eun-A can no longer function as efficiently as she did before in finding great screenplays, but I also think he feels insecure because most writers have been approaching her for reviews instead of going directly to him. Yes, I think he feels like he is being bypassed by Eun-A.
If he finds out she is the daughter of their famous actress, I hope Eun-A makes his life hard in return. lol
She’s finally starting to fight back, and it’s about time. After all those nosebleed moments, I really hope she can put a stop to it. I just want her to handle the stress and everything that’s been dragging her into such a dark, self-destructive place.
And thank goodness she’s getting closer to Hwang Dong Man. Whenever they’re together, Eun-A somehow remembers how to smile and enjoy life again. It feels like the chaos in her head quiets down, even just for a while.
On the other hand, let’s talk about Dong Man. After his encounter with Mr. Choi in last week’s episode, he still refuses to give up on his dreams in the film industry. Even with all the rejections, he keeps showing up for every audition and interview. His career path may look uncertain right now, but somehow, his mindset is becoming less toxic because of Byeon Eun-A.
He stays by her side during her hardest moments, patiently listening to her endless thoughts and worries. And in return, Eun-A becomes his safe place, his savior from the people who constantly talk behind his back.
I honestly love them together because they don’t just see each other’s strengths, they also accept each other’s flaws. I can’t wait for them to overcome their feelings of worthlessness together. 🥺✨
