That scene where Im Sol stressed out that she wants Sun Jae to leave her alone was so painful to watch. There's definitely a pang of pain in there for me, what more for Sun Jae though? In his mind, probably, his unrequited love was not desirable and to be pushed away like that makes all of his efforts and sleepless nights thinking about her all wasted. Wasted in a way that he won't know what to do with his overflowing love for Im Sol. In kdrama this is romantic because viewers like us know what exactly is going on between them, but if it were to happen in real life without them knowing anything that's happening then it'll all look so creepy! lol Good thing that it is a Kdrama we're watching. kkk  Anyways, because Sol was completely drunk in that one night in their field trip, she unconsciously sang Sun Jae's song Sonaki. WENDY Releases NEW Masterpiece With Her Song Cover of 'Girls' By Jung Joon Il

Today, April 9th of year 2022, Wendy releases a new OST for the new reality show called Seoul Check-In which shows the adventures/travels of a top star Lee Hyori around Seoul. 

When it was announced yesterday that WENDY will release a song cover of Jung Joon Il's Girls, I searched the song immediately and listened to it all day long. LOL I instantly liked it a lot. I was already imagining Wendy's voice singing it and I was just so super excited yesterday while working because of it! I find the song really motivating from the vibe it's releasing as well as the girl empowering lyrics it contained. 


The lyrics contains these words that I interpreted as girls/women/females are more than just their physical appearances.. they are way beyond those labels such as beautiful that only focuses what others/men/society see of them. Girls are more than that! They can be whoever they want to be or do whatever they can because they are not just simply beautiful but are also capable beings.

That girl!

And now that the song is out today, 12nn KST, as expected I fell in love with it. lol WENDY really has this power in her voice that touches the hearts of the listeners. You can just feel and believe whatever she's singing. It's amazing, really. I love her so much for that. Not all kpop singers, or singers in general, can do such a thing. Not all can be the amazing singer Wendy. She's really  more than just Wendy of Red Velvet... and saying that tells it all. She's that skillful of a singer. 

When the song was released. WENDY's name started trending in Melon real time search, peaking at no. 5! Her hashtag GirlsbyWendy trended on twitter too! Ain't that superb? I mean, this is only an OST for a reality show... not a Kdrama! Wendy's power is really that strong and hopefully it'll get stronger for each releases 'coz this girl.. this singer... this WENDY deserves all the good attention for her masterpieces/songs. I love you Wendy!
