Lee Ik Joon (Jo Jung Suk) is a 40 year old assistant professor of Yulje hospital's general surgery which focuses on the abdominal parts of the body. 


He is a genius among geniuses chosen by geniuses! 

Be it studies, surgery, up to being the frontman of their band, there is nothing he can't do! He's indeed an all rounder! 


Seeing Ik Joon, I could comment that this world is really unfair. While he's also playful and a bit naughty, he's the type that would still remain top 1 with his grades in an entire school! He's born to be on top with his excellent intellect and ability to focus well. He is that one rare person in your group of friends that achieves success at full speed. That is if you have a friend like that. Ik Joon is really one of a kind, I'm telling you. 

Ik Joon's charming point is his uniqueness being the group's mood maker but also has in born sensibilities. He's not the typical loud friend we have who only want to uplift an atmosphere all the time, but Ik Joon knows how to read and adapt on any circumstances as well. He is a deep person too behind his playful persona, he's just that friend we all want to have in our lives. Huhu. 

Nope, Ik Joon is not only like that with his friends but he's an angel to his co-workers in the hospital and to his patients too! He's just an angel, a blessing for everyone! 

It's a shame for his wife, to divorce such a good man like Ik Joon surely is a huge mistake! But we shouldn't hold grudges to his ex-wife since because of her, Ik Joon's universe was born! Yes, it's Wu Ju, his adorable son! Also, since he's free, there's a huge chance for him to meet the one that's really destined for him. The one that would make him feel loved, happy, taken care of, understand and laugh at his uncle jokes. Wait, I think he already meet the one! Chae Song Hwa, yes, this is definitelty her!
