My speculations were right about Kim Do Ki's mother's serial killer. Oh Chul Young is alive and kicking inside prison and he's a real definition of a psychopath. There are no signs of remorse nor any emotions from this guy, he's just born to kill and he's demon himself. This is why we cannot really blame Rainbow Taxi for setting a mission to avenge the victims of these horrible criminals, the punishment they bestow upon them are what they deserve as well.
At the earlier part of this episode, we're shown the effects of abducting and keeping the criminals in Baek Sung Mi's jail. One of them spoke up that the way Baek Sung Mi and Rainbow Taxi treated them in their very own little jail was inhumane, one of them even lost her mind in the process and is currently in a mental health institution. Kim Do Ki witnessed the consequences of their actions and sympathy somehow came over him when he saw how miserable the lady criminal became. He was ready to turn himself over to the police too and just waiting for Kang Ha Na to serve her warrant to arrest him.
However, the case of Oh Chul Young has opened. He admitted to the crimes he has done including killing Kim Do Ki's mother. What was the reason? Nothing. He was just a real psycho and that's what's really frustrating about it. When he got faced to faced with Kim Do Ki, he even has the audacity to say his mother's final words to him. It was the evidence that he was talking about Kang Ha Na too. That scene was really revolting, I hate him so much. Kim Do Ki was left in a vulnerable state, he was expecting that Oh Chul Young was only blurting nonsense and only wanting attention but when he heard about his mother's words from the devil, he just lose it all.
I don't think Kang Ha Na would really help Kim Do Ki taking revenge at him. She may be having a little faith now with Kim Do Ki's ways of catching the criminals efficiently but all in all she's still a passionate servant of the law. Some things just can't be bent.
Meanwhile, I am so glad that Mr. Park is alive! I knew it! He'll survive it!
I wonder how it will all end, I can't wait for next episode. I hope it will be live up to my expectations because the episode from the previous week was glorious! It was like a real finale of the whole series!
