This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. The King Is Alive In Mr. Queen Episode 18

We got heartbroken for a few minutes with Sobong mourning and longing for his king when she got informed that her husband is dead. But thankfully, that didn't last long since my heart cannot take it anymore. Yes, Cheoljong is still alive and it's all thanks to Sobong's groping skills that she was able to distinguish if the corpse was her husband or not. lol I wonder what part she groped! hahaha! Sobong really is a weird but effective creature. 

Meanwhile the Kims are celebrating with Byeong In leading them. They still have to wait for 5 days before they plan to dethrone Cheoljong and put a replacement. They are aware that Cheoljong is still alive, but they cannot rush their plans because they have to do the proper rituals for the dead king to do not raise suspicions. I hope that is more than enough for our Sobong to find and bring back Cheoljong. 

But everything ain't easy for Queen Cheorin/Sobong because she provoked Byeong In about his feelings for her. She questioned that if he really loved Soyong then he should have seen the changes in her like acting rashly, the way she speaks and thinks, and that was a major slap for Byeong In. He noticed it now and I don't know what exactly he concluded  about (it couldn't be that he believed someone took over Soyong's body, right? lol) but he was ready to bring her and the king's head to the palace.

The previews for the next episode looked like Byeong In only wanted to check for himself the truth if Sobong is still herself, and I think he got a satisfying answer. He'll eventually save Sobong from the Palace army too. Great job on that Byeong In, stay true to yourself and protect Sobong no matter what. 

Meanwhile, can I just say that I really admire the friendship of this trio? Sobong, Court Lady Choi and court maid Hong Yeon, they are precious people that must be protected at all cost. Yes, we all know that it is lady Choi and Hong Yeon's job to serve and protect the Queen but it's still heartwarming to see that they are willing to risk their life for her and help her find the King. They are the ones that truly understood the Queen from the very start even if Bong Hwan's soul hasn't taken over Soyong's body yet.

Sobong really like these two as well. She cannot take to see them being in danger and it was evident how she fight back against the armies chasing them even though she knew it was hopeless. Aw, I really love these three so much. One of the reasons that I am watching Mr. Queen.

We only have 2 episodes left for this drama. I don't think I could let go yet, especially True Beauty ended last week too. I really have to find new Kdramas to watch that are as good as these two.
