It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. I'm not gonna lie that I hated his character for getting too obsessed with Sobong but we all know that he did all possible ways in order to protect her too. I was really crying hard for his death and how he still managed to reminisce a good memory of Soyong before he dies. Him being in the same pitiful position how he died when Soyong and the others were on their way back to the palace was agonizing. Byeong In may have lost his life but he won in protecting Soyong until the very end. Such chivalry, we should admire. 

Because of Byeon In's death before Sobong's eyes, she was completely devastated. She was blaming herself for everyone's death and ready to accept the end of her life. My heart was really aching seeing the usual lively and carefree Sobong ended up in a situation like that. But thank goodness, because the King saved her from her misery. 


So glad that Lady Choi and Hong Yeon were all alive too! It'll be too much if both of them ended up dying as well. Byeong In's death was already painful enough so we don't want anymore deaths to see especially now that the clan will have a great war to face. I really hope that this drama would not end in a tragic way. Let Sobong, the King and the good ones live writer-nim!
