Go Kyung Pyo Protected His Heart and Dream In Frankly Speaking Episode 3

This episode tells us exactly what it means to be protecting our hearts by expressing what we really mean and by standing up for our own self including our dreams. Nobody would be able to protect us but ourselves. This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. He was so used to living in lies and sugarcoat everything that he lost his true self to get himself to his desired dream/goal. Now that he got a disease of telling only the truth, it

Kim Yoo Jin (Eugene) | A Quick Guide To The Cast Of Kdrama The Penthouse: War In Life

Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene) was one of the characters I've loved in the early episodes of this Kdrama, but it all went down the drain when she started acting like everybody else. I know her character is a loving mother that will do everything in her power to protect and provide for her only daughter. At first I really liked that trait of her, but sometimes it's just going overboard that she's starting to do or think of wicked ways in order to achieve that.

I think after episode 16, in which she was shown to be the new strong suspect in pushing Min Seol-Ah from the 47th floor balcony of Hera Palace, I'm starting to feel hatred towards her character. I know nothing yet was proven and that we still don't know who the real murderer is but witnessing Oh Yoon Hee betray Shim Soo Ryeon is a bit too much for me. Shim Soo Ryeon (Lee Ji Ah) has been my favorite character ever since so I don't want to see her suffer any longer but she's about to be deceived by Oh Yoon Hee who she trusted. This is yet another heartbreak, but I wish Shim Soo Ryeon has planned everything to retaliate this betrayal from her so called friend.

Anyways, enough of that, because in here we're going to share information about the actress behind that character of Oh Yoon Hee:

Personal Life and Career
  • Eugene was born March 3, 1981 under her birthname of Kim Yoo Jin in South Korea.
  • It was in 5th grade that their family immigrated to Guam but they eventually came back to South Korea after graduating high school.
  • She was a very intelligent student with high marks proven when she was in high school, 80% of her grades were all A.
  • Eugene was popularly known as the member of the first generation girl group under SM Entertainment, S.E.S. She debuted with the group in 1997.
  • S.E.S was a top-selling girl group back then. It was only recently that this record was broken by TWICE in year 2019.
  • It was in 2002 that the group broke up but it opened more solo opportunities for her to do acting, modeling, hosting and singing.
  • She released 2 solo albums back then called My True Style and The Best. Her first album became a success selling a 810,303 copies but her second album flopped with 19,000 copies sold only.
  • Eugene debuted in acting in the drama Loving You (2002), and since then she had starred in numerous acting projects such as Save The Last Dance For Me (2004), Wonderful Life (2005), Love Truly (2006) and many more.
  • Now, she's currently having the role of a determined mother Oh Yoon Hee from the hit drama The Penthouse: War In Life.

Dating History
  • Eugene was married to Ki Tae Young in July 23, 2011. The wedding ceremony was held in Seoul Central Church in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do.
  • Currently, the two couple has 2 daughters named Ro Hee and Ro Rin.

Personality and Character
  • It seemed really cheerful and a loving mother and wife to her husband. That's how I see her in The Return of Superman.
  • She has a consistent gleeful smile that also reminded me of her character in The Penthouse: War In life. In that aspect only of course, and not the wicked side of Oh Yoon Hee. I hope I'm clear with that.

Comments
  • Just like what I've said above this post, I feel really betrayed by her character in The Penthouse: War In Life. She was one of the characters I trusted in that drama but I was just a fool for believing that. Kinda disappointed and that's just how it is in the drama. Great job writers of this kdrama, we're all convinced you are all great.
  • However, I still am not accusing her fully that she's the real suspect of Min Seol Ah's death. I feel like there's still going to be a new plot twist that would change the flow of everything in the story. It's really interesting, how this drama made us anticipate what's gonna happen and what's gonna be revealed each episodes. Really amazing and highly recommended drama.
