Go Kyung Pyo Protected His Heart and Dream In Frankly Speaking Episode 3

This episode tells us exactly what it means to be protecting our hearts by expressing what we really mean and by standing up for our own self including our dreams. Nobody would be able to protect us but ourselves. This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. He was so used to living in lies and sugarcoat everything that he lost his true self to get himself to his desired dream/goal. Now that he got a disease of telling only the truth, it

Youth of May Finale | A Tragic Love Story

I haven't cried in a while lately and as expected, it only takes a beautiful tragic K-drama to make me bawl in the end. Seriously, the finale of Youth of May was so heart breaking and I feel both pity for both main characters. I've already said it our FB page that the death of Kim Myung Hee was one of the most tragic deaths I've ever witness in the my history of watching Kdramas. It really tugged to my heart how painful it really was to end up dying all alone and she was in the middle of nowhere. Nobody knew about her death despite having people that love her. She has Hwang Hee Tae and her family loving her but nobody was on her side as she took her last breath. Sad. The last time that I've seen a tragic death similar to Myung Hee was Na In Woo's character in Mr. Queen. I could still remember how he died kneeling, how at the very end, he was still fighting to protect his loved one. Sigh.

Anyways, aside from Myung Hee's death, Hee Tae grieving for more than 40 years after just made everything even more painful to watch. What they have really have was true love and whoever was left behind, by the one who died, there would still end up having the same fate as what Hwang Hee Tae had experienced. When Hee Tae prayed that he should be the one to experience pain rather than Myung Hee, we all did not expect it to be this way. There's just no winner at all with how they end up. Surely, dying was the easiest choice compared to the one who was left alone in the world mourning and suffering in pain for the longest time. It' not like they have a choice though. Sad. No matter how I see it, it's just a tragic love story and they were fated to be that way from the very beginning.

Still, despite the ending, I really loved it. Their love story from the start really warmed up my heart and even at the end, even though it was immensely painful to see them go separate ways in a very tragic manner, we were able to witness how far one person could really go for the one he or she loves. (starting crying again) It's tragically beautiful.
