Wah! I finally was able to catch up with this drama. So, it turns out that senior court lady Dong didn't became a concubine as I have guessed that she'll be from the previous episode. I got confused about it since Queen Dowager said it herself that the norigae she gave to her were being awarded to concubines only, which brings good health and fortune in having many sons. I guess Queen Dowager has meant nothing else in giving lady Dong this norigae but just a high reward only to her for doing a great job under her commands and probably for helping out her son Yi In against the court officials from the previous episode. It also come to my understanding that court lady Dong has no special feelings towards Yi In, she's just purely greedy and proud having the idea/fact that the late and current Kings of the nation were all in favor of her and no one else which automatically gave her the status/power in the palace. This became much clear to me upon witnessing her actions towards captain Choo Sang Hwa, the King's guard/soldier. Also when Mong Woo became the King's gidaeryeong and having the privilege of coming into Yeongchwijeong while court lady Dong has no access to, started to infuriate her and even guilt-trip the King about it. So they actually have a secret promise to each other when lady Dong helped the King our from the court officials.... geez... she really knows her ways to stay in power and to be close with the King. She probably have some tactics done to the late King, who knows....
Now let's talk about Hee Soo/Mong Woo coming back to the palace and even became the King's gidaeryeong. Wah! Seriously, every scene with her and King was so intense! I honestly can feel the King's power in Yi In, how scary he really is as a person and a leader! When he confronted Mong woo at the beginning of episode 6, where he asked forcefully for the reason why Mong Woo came back in the palace and how he suggested that his purpose was to take revenge against him.. I can really feel the anxiety in him. Of course, I can still sense that the King still has this soft spot for Mong Woo at the same time the regret and embarrassment he's feeling towards him after what had happened 3 years ago, but anxiety/fear for his life and aggression to protect oneself were what overcame him that moment. But it all subside when they start to play with each other later on.
But that's the problem though... when his aggression is beginning to subside and become smooth again between Mong Woo and the King, Yi In found Mong Woo and Kim Myung Ha hugging from a distance. Since Yi In doesn't know that Mong Woo is a woman, and that Myung Ha has special feelings for her, he'll probably think that this act is some kind of plotting revenge against him. lol It's what's really happening though, they're joining forces to bring him down. kkk Wah! I'm so excited what will happen next in here!
Seriously, this drama is becoming better than I had expected. The events were getting unpredictable and intense, and the actors involved in here were so good than I had imagined. I'm seated to watch more of the episodes now!
