Go Kyung Pyo Protected His Heart and Dream In Frankly Speaking Episode 3

This episode tells us exactly what it means to be protecting our hearts by expressing what we really mean and by standing up for our own self including our dreams. Nobody would be able to protect us but ourselves. This is really such a great reminder to all of us especially in our modern society today where we compromise ourselves and our feelings to give way to other people because there's hierarchy that dictates us what to do. This happens most especially in our workplace. It's true that in order to survive this chain, we must use white lies and sugarcoat our words to come out pleasing to the ears of those we wanted to have a good impression with but we should do it moderately. In a way that, we wouldn't lose our true selves in the long run. That has become the problem with Song Ki Baek here. He was so used to living in lies and sugarcoat everything that he lost his true self to get himself to his desired dream/goal. Now that he got a disease of telling only the truth, it

Cho Jung Suk Abandons Shin Se Kyung In Captivating The King Episode 4

The story is beginning to become interesting as it evades the usual sageuk drama where love interests between the King and a lady, who pretends to be a man, progresses. I honestly thought that when grand prince Jinhan ascends to the throne, he will be able to save his friend Hee Soo and Hong Jang but to my disappointment he became the worst person in the palace. It feels like the position of the King is cursed, any man with principles and values instantly transforms into an hideous person quickly. It's a sad fate for the most powerful person in the country. Just like the late king, his brother, Jin Han becomes the captivated King to which, I think, Hee Soo's main purpose will revolve around.

As of now Hee Soo, who suffered loss and worst situation because of the new King, she swore to get revenge one day. Fast forward to 3 years later, she then came back to the palace to play baduk game organized by King Jinhan. This ain't a great reunion considering that the heart of Hee Soo is now full of hatred towards Jinhan. I really am curious what she's gonna do this time but I have a feeling that she will then side Jinhan once she learns how sad and pitiful he really is in a closer look. I feel like, later on, they will fight oppositions and invaders side by side. The question is, how will they rekindle first though. kkk

It's sad that one of my favorite characters in the drama, Hong Jang, has passed away and so it infuriates me how her brother, Yoo Hyun Bo, is the one that started her cruel fate. Geez, Hyun Bo needs to get punished quickly! He's so frustrating in the drama! How can he be so gruesome to his own blood?! Ugh.
