Yeri Of Red Velvet To Debut As An Actress

Yeri posted an Instagram story last February 2, showing a poster of TvN's 2021 Drama Stage. SM Entertainment confirmed the news of her acting debut that day by sharing a naver article about the details.

Yeri will be part of the episode entitled Mint Condition of Drama Stage. It is a heartwarming tragicomedy that revolves around an old man's mind transforming back to his 20s due to an MRI machine failure.  

Every year since 2017, TvN airs Drama Stage with a complete new set of 10 one-act dramas. The concept is similar to KBS' Drama Special. 

This year's Drama Stage first episode will be airing this March 3 at midnight KST. 

Meanwhile, their leader Irene is also set to debut as an actress in movies this February. Double Patty's premiere will be this February 10 at Lotte cinema while the official release date on theaters will be on February 17.
