Kim Byung Chul and Yoon Se Ah Reunites with Park Ju Hyun After 3 years in "Perfect Family" Episode 12

So it turned out that Sun Hui didn't poison her adoptive parents, it was sleeping pills to trick her own father Hyun Min. The real poison that Hyun Min gave her was blended by Sun Hui on the alcohol. It was impressive of Sun Hui to strategize like that because it's effective since her biological dad grabbed and drink the alcohol first after he made an appearance. It was only after a while that the poison took effect on Hyun Min's body and lost consciousness for the rest of his life. The detective saw everyone asleep with Sun Hui and her dad lying down on the floor. Perhaps Sun Hui lost consciousness only because of the seaweed soup not the alcohol. It was shown that her mom stopped her from drinking the alcohol to attempt suicide. It was only hallucination though, since her mom was still asleep during that time that she was stopped. Her mom truly loved her so perhaps she thought her mom would react that way. 

After that incident with Hyun Min, everyone came back to their daily routine. 3 years has passed and Hyun Woo narrated everything that went by. Sun Hui moved to Canada and is separated from her adoptive parents. Soo Yeon finally came out of prison and Hyun Woo was there to welcome her back to the outside world. He told Soo Yeon that he has forgiven her and there Soo Yeon also told Hyun Woo her side of story. They are all missing Sun Hui and everyone could only hope that she wouldn't cut ties with them for good. 

Then in the end, Sun Hui was back in SK and was actually watching her loved ones from afar and for the very last time. According to Sun Hui, leaving all of them was the only option for them to be happy on their own. But then her adoptive parents talked some sense back to her so she would still want to be part of the family and start anew. And yes, she asked her parents to be their daughter again. Yay! Happy ending! Not only that, the grandmother who hated her and her adoptive parents finally got reconciled with them. They took a family picture together and that's how they became the perfect family again since Sang Ho died. I love iiiiiit! 

I'm truly blessed to be able to see this masterpiece. As I was watching and approaching the end of this finale episode, I slowly felt that this drama is dissipiting slowly from me. Although I'm very happy that every issues were resloved in this drama, I am sad because it's an indication that I'll have to say goodbye to all of them. Waaaah! Perhaps it's the OSTs that's making me even more sad, the OSTs are sooooo good! The last time I got really attached with a drama including its OSTs was The Atypical Family. It come a long way for me to find another masterpiece that truly touched my soul. I'm pretty sure you guys relate to what I'm saying from the time that you've found one of your favorite dramas of all time. Perfect Family is that for me. It's a real gem for sure! I'd love to see another one of this kind. Waaaah! 

So the final verdict, will I recommend this kdrama? DEFINITELY YES! In fact, it's part now of my HIGHLY RECOMMENDED KDRAMAS of all time! Watch it now if you haven't!

Park Ju Hyun Believes Kim Byung Chul and Yoon Se Ah are Going to Harm Her in "Perfect Family" Episodes 5 & 6 Review

In case you don't know and not following my Facebook page, I'm actually watching Perfect Family too. I need a Wed-Thu drama to complete my routine watching Kdrama everyday of the week so I checked this one out and instantly got hooked with it. What made me hooked is that Sun Hui (Park Ju Hyun) got adopted by a successful lawyer and a neuropsychiatric specialist turned full-time housewife, when she was a child. Since then she was loved like she was their own child. They are the perfect family in the eyes of those people around them. However, everything turned sour when Sun Hui meet her childhood friend from the orphanage that she was from. Soo Yeon showed up and everything crumbles down for Sun Hui. 

Seriously, Sun Hui shouldn't be feeling guilty about Soo Yeon's unfortunate fate though. It's not like she intentionally burned the house and targeted Soo Yeon. But I guess since Soo Yeon is a psychopath ever since she was a child, she can manipulate/gaslight someone like Sun Hui. What's worst here is that, Sun Hui willingly took the blame when Soo Yeon stabbed Gyeong Ho in his house. If only Sun Hui didn't tell her mom that she killed Gyeong Ho, her parents wouldn't even react suspiciously at all. Actually, Sun Hui's mom did get her belongings from Gyeong Ho's place but there's no evidence that she's the one who burned down the house. Since Sun Hui got guilt-tripped and gaslighted by Soo Yeon, she no longer is thinking straight with things. Reason why she suspected her parents instantly after seeing them act as if nothing happened, like the fire and Gyeong Ho's death. 

It's just crazy that Hyun Min, a strange middle aged man, showed up all of a sudden and add up more craze in the story. He makes Sun Hui more confused to the point that she believes that her mom and dad are going to kill her. I really have a bad feeling about him. In this week's episode, he introduced himself as a police officer and that he knows Jin Hyuk for a very long time. However, if he's a police investigating Jin Hyuk for a fire arson from way back and also the prime suspect of their son's murder then, why is he not interacting with the other police officers investigating Gyeong Ho and Soo Yeon's cases? I really find this guy very suspicious especially now that he knows Soo Yeon and Soo Yeon might still be alive and she might be working with him for some revenge towards Sun Hui. This guy on the other hand has other motive that we need to find out just yet. Hmmm... I wonder if Hyun Woo managed to really contact Soo Yeon... waaah! Very exciting! One thing I observed though is that, Sun Hui's adoptive parents really love her. And hopefully the real truth would come out real soon.

The Different Faces of Kim Byung Chul | Doctor Cha's Seo In Ho

I read thru allkpop about Kim Byung Chul enduring more than a decade of being a nameless actor in the entertainment world. That's so sad but it's real. I checked his profile on AsianWiki and mydramalist, he debuted in a movie called Once Upon A Time In A Battlefield which was from way back 2003, only having a supporting role. Since then, he starred in numerous amount of movies and dramas but still failed to make a name for himself and remained outside the limlight until 2019 came in. He landed his first major role in 2019 in a drama called Doctor Prisoner and won as Best Supporting Actor in KBS Drama Award. He also won the same award at 55th Baeksang Arts Awards for his role in Sky Castle (2019). 

Kim Byung Chul was born in the year 1974, and considering this, we'll probably think that he's already popular because up to this date and year, he's still active in the entertainment world. But sadly, that's not the case until his name went buzzing after only starring a major role in Doctor Cha (2023). 

Before we talk about his role in Doctor Cha, I'm sure most of you have seen him different hit dramas as well but actually didn't bother to search for his name. I also am like that! I only noticed it a few days ago when his characters popped out on my screen and thought 'shit, so this was him!' Haha! I still cannot forget his character in The Goblin!! OMG! It's really him! lol

Anyways, let's talk about his Doctor Cha. We all hated his character Seo In Ho so much but it only meant how convincing Kim Byung Chul is as an actor. His character is detestable for his cheating issues but Kim Byung Chul's comical portrayal of this character made us love him as an actor. I'm so glad that he's finally gaining popularity. It's actually an inspiring story because it's a proof that it's never too late for those who wanted to achieve their dreams no matter what age they're in. So happy that he's creating a buzz in the entertainment world and Doctor Cha surely is a blessing to him as well just like what happened to Min Wook Hyuk. (Doctor Roy Kim)
