The story revolves around Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Na-Ra) who is a celebrity divorce lawyer from Daejung Law Firm. She's a star, however, she also has her own struggles in her marriage. Due to busy work schedules, she wasn't able take care of her family that she didn't know it started to crumble. Her husband, Kim Ji Sang (Ji Seung Hyun) cheated on her with her office secretary Choi Sa Ra (Han Jae Yi). Cha Eun Kyung had knew about their affair for a very long time but remained silent in order to get strong evidence to file for a case. Yep, Eun Kyung won't settle to a peaceful divorce, she wants revenge and I'm rooting for her so much! Kim Ji Sang and his mistress, they are really getting out of hand. I really want them to get punished and Eun Kyung's way is through the help of her newbie attorney, Han Yu Ri (Nam Ji Hyun).
Han Yu Ri is the opposite of Eun Kyung when it comes to work experience and values. Yu Ri, as much as possible, wants to stick with her 'morally correct' values while Eun Kyung separates her values and just give the best benefit her clients could get out of the divorce case. Yuri is about fighting for what is right and Eun Kyung is all about the money and fame. Since Eun Kyung is senior to Yu Ri, therefore she's guiding her to win her cases. There's a need for approval from Eun Kyung before Yu Ri fully execute her plans/strategies. And this is what exactly make Yu Ri unhappy with handling her cases. She hates fulfilling only the instructions of her superior, especially when it is against her values. They clash here and there but it is definitely entertaining watching them fight. I am very curious as to how they will balance their relationship as colleagues and friends along the way and how they will win against Ji Sang and Sa Ra. Ugh, I hate those two very much! Eun Kyung deserves so much better! Better like Jung Woo Jin (Kim Jun Han). kkk
Tbh, I really want Jung Woo Jin and Eun Kyung to end up together. I hope Eun Kyung would see how Woo Jin deserves a chance with her. I mean, looking back at her relationship with Ji Sang, they've been just dating 3 months and out of nowhere they were getting married. Hmmm... I feel like there's really something fishy about it like it was all planned to get some wealth out of Eun Kyung. I don't trust Ji San at all. He's a real trash!
Anyway, after having a quick look at the viewership ratings, the drama actually reached the double digits now. It's expected, really, considering the star studded cast as well as it's a free tv.
