Lee Dong Wook Meets An Old Friend Ryu Kyung Soo In Tale of the Nine Tailed

Finally, Lee Yeon met face to face with Cheon Muyeong. The question is, if Lee Yeon really knows that Muyeong is the red white masked man or was he just bluffing on the ending scene of episode 5?

Did Muyeong really sold his soul to one of the hell gods/kings? If so, he's that desperate to avenge his brother. We really need to see the whole story if Lee Yeon really killed his brother and if ever he did, what was the reason? Lee Yeon may be a fool for love, sometimes cruel and acts only for his own benefits but he's still a good guy deep inside. The Lee Yeon from the present, at least, is better than the Lee Yeon in 1938 though. So I still believe that there's a valid reason why he did so.

Lee Yeon, Myung Soo and Hong Joo are best of friends since they were children and they all grew up to be mountain gods. They even have a pact of protecting one another to the point that they will risk their lives for each other. If only Lee Yeon didn't fall miserably in love with a human, they all could've still be together protecting one another.

What's saddening about a friendship though is when one falls in love with another without his/her feelings reciprocated. That's just awkward and painful experience and so it's a shame that it's what's happening to Hong Joo and Lee Yeon. I hope that Hong Joo would still be by Lee Yeon's side no matter what, but that comes costly since another important friend Myung Soo is on the line. The better solution to this problem is to get Lee Yeon and Myung Soo get along well again and I hope Hong Joo would think the same tactic.
