Today, March 26, SBS officially confirmed the cancellation of Joseon Exorcist drama. They will no longer broadcast the remaining episodes even though the cast already filmed 80% of the show. SBS mentioned that they already paid most of the fees for the broadcasting rights to Joseon Exorcist before the termination of their contract. This is definitely a huge financial loss to both Joseon Exorcist production and its broadcasting network.
SBS stated that they take full responsibility for Joseon Exorcist causing controversy as its broadcasting network and that they are officially cancelling the show because of that.

Joseon Exorcist, starring Jang Dong Yoon, Kam Woo Sung, Park Sung Hoon and many more, will officially halt from airing just 4 days away from its premiere episode. I can't imagine how the whole production and actors of this drama felt about this. This is really saddening!
