Once again, Wendy proved how strong she is with her vocals from her recent song cover performance on JTBC's Mysterious Record Shop's 6th episode. She did a splendid job in sending across the message of the song Pray to everyone listening that's having a hard time. We are all glad and thankful that all the guests on the show chose our Wendy's song recommendation, we are now healed. 

The viewers were enthralled again with Wendy's performance that made the song trend no. 1 and Younha's name trend (the original singer of Pray) no. 6 on Melon Realtime Search.

JTBC's Mysterious Record Shop guested psychiatrists for episode 6 that aired last night, February 26.

The hosts revealed about their experiences in seeking help from professionals like their guests, including Wendy. She stated,

When promoting, I work non stop so it makes me feel like I shouldn't express that I'm having a hard time. As I keep on hiding those feelings, I forget about myself. I started thinking, 'Am I tired?', 'Can I feel tired?' So I ended up receiving counseling.

These new still cuts of him and S.E.S' Eugene's character Oh Yoon Hee are somewhat from a scene that happened in the past. We all know that it was Logan Lee who Oh Yoon Hee encountered the last time in the season 1, right? So I'm pretty sure that he helped Oh Yoon Hee for the sake of avenging Shim Su Ryeon. With a heavy heart, he probably granted Oh Yoon Hee another life in order to avenge Shim Su Ryeon even though she was the suspect behind Min Seol Ah's case. 

Kim So Yeon And Uhm Ki Joon's Relationship Is Shaking In The Penthouse 2 | New Still Cuts

Seems like the comeback of Oh Yoon Hee and Ha Eun Cheol is taking a toll on Cheon Seo Jin and Joo Dan Tae's relationship. Who wouldn't, right? Their relationship was born after committing several sins, and not because of real love. I do feel like what they have really isn't love but pride and greed for money. These two are alike when it comes to no contentment at all. Dan Tae was seeking for more power that's why he's eager to marry Cheon Seo Jin the soonest, so he could merge businesses with her. That's how I see it, really. Because that's what he's done with Shim Suryeon, even when she hasn't died yet, he was already planning to take the building that her foster child inherited. He basically absorbed now all Shim Su Ryeon's wealth. 

IU/Lee Ji Eun Posted About Wendy On Instagram

Just before Wendy's precious birthday, on their show JTBC's Mysterious Record Shop, Wendy's recommended song was chosen by the guests that made her able to sing. She recommended and sang IU's Someday which song was released year 2011.

After she had sing the song, Someday and Wendy's name trended on Melon the same night. Not only that! Someday re-entered Bugs Realtime charts too and considering that the song was released 10 years ago meant that people were mesmerized by Wendy's singing that enabled them to revisit IU's song. If that ain't described the power of both Wendy and IU then I don't know what it is. 

She Would Never Know Office Environment Set-Up

I really wanted to show my appreciation over this topic so I'm writing a blog post solely about it. I think it's a topic that is pretty much relatable for most of us who's working in a corporate world, or just working in general. 

I've been into many offices now, and I've experienced different kinds of working environment. I've been in a small firm when I was starting out to being part of one of the biggest developer companies in our country. I'd say that the more you level up, the more stressful the work you'll face and so I think it's really important to have an office environment that wouldn't add more stress to your work. I do believe everyone would agree to that as well. 

Our mental health is very important and just because you wanted to earn a lot of money doesn't mean you have to sacrifice that. In order to achieve that, it meant we have to choose the what we think is the best office environment to be in. If you chose to be in an office that has nothing but toxicity for a long period of time is already your fault. It's the same as not respecting yourself, you just let yourself continue to deteriorate in an office just to earn money. Think about that.

During the show's press conference held last December, Shin Hye Sun expressed her desire to portray a role in a historical drama. She mentioned that she has a romantic idea of wearing hanbok and speaking in a tone used in Joseon period, and with Mr. Queen, she achieved all of it.

Park Eun Seok Chooses His Ideal Type Among Lee Ji Ah, Eugene and Kim So Yeon

Park Eun Seok made an appearance in SBS' show 'My Little Old Boy', which is centered in commentary from Celebrity mothers watching their sons or daughters.

Talking now about the present, I know that Lee Jae Shin has the very right to be sad and lonely after what had happened with his life but I think it's about time the he moves on from it. It ain't easy as the way I speak but he's already taking a step forward now by leaving everything behind that made him lose himself, so I could only hope he continues to do so. 

The Penthouse 2: War In Life Episode 4 To Be Rated 19+

The premiere episode of The Penthouse Season 2 was rated to 19+ and today we read a report that it'll be the same rating for this week's Episode 4 that will air February 27. As what we've seen from the first episode that aired February 19, we've already seen 2 deaths! The maid and the lady in white dress that got stabbed and fell from the stairs. Whew! Yup, this is The Penthouse 2: War In Life we're watching so it's normal, I guess.

Song Joong Ki Works With Jipaguri Law Firm In Vincenzo Episode 2

Vincenzo got no choice but to involve himself now in the matters of Geumga Plaza. I think it was a blessing for Jipaguri Law Firm in general, fighting against the Babel Group with someone like Vincenzo. He has the balls that Hong Yoo Chan (Yoo Jae Myung), Chairman of Jipaguri, doesn't have to stand up against his rival firm, Woosang. Even though Vincenzo has other motive, which is retrieving the treasures of Cassano's late friend and client, I bet he'll get attached to the people around him in Geumga Plaza. I've read the synopsis earlier, finally, that Vincenzo would fall for Hong Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Bin) along the way too so my speculations aren't baseless here. Lol 

Won Jin Ah And Rowoon Are The Sweetest Couple In She Would Never Know Episode 11

Hyun Seung and sunbae together as a couple is the sweetest thing we can enjoy throughout the show. It's a reward to all of us who have suffered the push and pull approach the two have played in this drama. I do shamelessly confess that I couldn't stop giggling whenever the two pop out on the screen and do some couple things. They are still in the early stage of their relationship, and we all know what it feels like, so it's understandable if other viewers find it the cutest and sweetest too. That's the stage where the magic happens in the relationship anyways. 

Shin Ha Kyun Was Revealed To Be The Real Murderer In Beyond Evil Episode 2

I've got goosebumps the moment Dong Sik was revealed to be the psychotic killer! OMG! This made the story more interesting that I thought it would be. The synopsis didn't tell that one would be the murderer so that was such a huge revelation for me. 

At first, I really am having my doubts that Dong Sik will be the real murderer of her sister and those people having killed around them but man, in this episode I was really shookt! So he was only acting out when he showed sympathy over those people he's helping out? I know it's a cops' duty but him being overly sensitive about them made me think that there's more into it. That he's really concerned about them. I was totally fooled by that! OMG!

Song Joong Ki's Vincenzo Premiered With A High Viewership Rating of 7.65%

 

The first episode of Vincenzo garnered a 7.65% viewership rating which made it the 3rd weekend drama to have a high rating for it's premiere episode in TvN history. Although it didn't beat the drama Mr. Queen's premiere rating of 8.03%, it's still the first in the ratings for that given time slot. 

TvN's Vincenzo airs at 21:00 KST, SBS' The Penthouse 2: War In Life airs at 22:00 KST while JTBC's Beyond Evil airs at 23:00 KST. Since these 2 were new as well, I thought they are going to clash on the ratings but thankfully they don't as they have different time slots. The Penthouse is definitely going to roll on the ratings considering it's aired in a free-to-air/public broadcasting station SBS while both Beyond Evil and Vincenzo are for cable TV.

Cheon Seo Jin Borrows Oh Yoon Hee's Voice In The Penthouse Season 2 Episode 2

Well, what do you know? We've all been tricked that the girl Cheon Seo Jin was talking with before the concert voice for her, but the avengers team got other plans! Haha! Yup let me call Oh Yoon Hee, Logan and Ha Yoon Cheol the 'avengers team' for this season. 

Cheon Seo Jin's srarting to face her karma. First, she meets Ha Eun Cheol and Oh Yoon Hee as husband and wife then she's losing her voice with vocal cord nodules and then now she's shitting bricks having to borrow voice from her worst enemy Oh Yoon Hee. That's not all yet, the fact that the concert ain't finished yet, Cheon Seo Jin has to keep using Oh Yoon Hee's voice throughout the concert. Which means she has to beg her to continue voicing her or else her career will crumble down. Oh Yoon Hee has the alas here, Cheon Seo Jin is basically ruined now. I mean, the fact that Oh Yoon Hee, who's avenging, knows about this lip syncing situation during Seo Jin's concert is more than enough to control her career now. She could take her down any time. Even if Oh Yoon Hee does her a favor of singing for her for the entire concert, same result will still be the ending. Wow! That's a great plan you all have there, team avengers. 

Yeo Jin Goo's Beyond Evil Has A Promising Start With 4.45% Viewership Rating For Its First Episode

Seeing Yeo Jin Goo with a brushed up hair style, in a suit, in a police officer uniform, with an expensive wheels, I feel I've been blessed by a Kdrama God. Wow! Yeo Jin Goo alone is worth watching already. My heart has been stolen again, I'm glad I've watched this. I honestly only watched this drama all because of him but the storyline was pretty interesting as well. 

Han Joo Won is shown as a high profile police officer all because of his father's position in the organization. He's cocky and unfriendly but I think he really is intelligent and has special mission to do. And what's interesting about it is that, the mission is directly connected to his new partner Lee Dong Sik (Shin Ha Kyun). He is investigating whether he is the real suspect in murdering his own sister. 

Oh Yoon Hee And Ha Eun Cheol Made An Event Stopping Entrance In The Penthouse Season 2 Episode 1

The much awaited comeback of the drama that made us almost lose sanity for its season 1 is finally here! I didn't go to my Facebook group feed nor succumb to the temptation of clicking the trending hashtag on twitter last night because I didn't want spoilers. I want to be surprised and get entertained without anticipation of what's going to happen. It's still the best way of watching kdrama for me. 

Mr. Queen Spin-Off: The Bamboo Forest

I'm a bit late seeing this spin-off of Mr. Queen, but I'm glad I was able to watch it last night. Totally worth my time 'coz I've been missing them already. I know it hasn't been a week yet that they bid farewell on-air but just knowing that we won't be able to have new episodes this week just made everything a struggle for me. I guess I just need to watch more new kdramas to fill in this emptiness. lol 

The Forest Bamboo has 2 episodes with a 30 minute timeframe each. Those two are equivalent to one episode of the main show Mr. Queen. Well, what is The Forest Bamboo about anyway and is it even worth watching? If you are a real fan of Mr. Queen and you really miss them already then you should. That's what drove me to watch this, really. 

The Forest Bamboo basically is like a fan service, a thankful reward for those viewers who anticipated and supported Mr. Queen. It consists of segments which answer the wonders or what ifs of the viewers.

 Here, let me discuss a few of my favorites from this spin-off:

The Controversies That Mr. Queen Kdrama Endured

Mr. Queen has already ended with a high viewership rating which meant the audience were delighted over this drama. But did you know that Mr. Queen has faced many controversies before and during it's airing period? This drama might have taken the 5th spot for having a high viewership rating in the history of TvN but they have endured a lot of controversies as well. 

Mr. Queen is a historical romantic fantasy comedy drama so it's really inevitable to not cause a stir to the viewers, especially when it refers to important historical figures of the nation as main characters. But we all know how it goes when our creativity is used in our works, right? We challenge new ideas to infuse to our work to make it perfect to our eyes and interesting for the others. So I'm sure that Mr. Queen production team does not intend to hurt sensitive viewers but just wanted to serve something new. 

Rowoon And Won Jin Ah Shared Their First Kiss In She Would Never Know Episode 10

Oh yes! We started off with Hyun Seung being hoobae-zoned for the first half of this series and now we're here with him finally kissing sunbae. That was the progress we've been all waiting for! Lol 

Ahh, seriously, I really like their dynamics now. Every time they are together made the whole series lighter and filled with butterflies. I love how this story is going now with them being together as a real couple. Maybe it's the real taste of sweet victory after seeing Hyun Seung getting what he had been working so hard non stop for. Pursuing his sunbae wasn't so bad at all. Rejections all forgotten now! 

The Penthouse: War In Life Season 2 Teases With Joo Dan Tae Proposing To Cheon Seo Jin

Seems like these two are having the time of their lives after all the miserable things they did to other characters' life in this drama. Joo Dan Tae proposing to Cheon Seo Jin was no surprising, but does he really feel love for her? Or was he just using Cheon Seo Jin to gain more power? Probably the latter. 

Joo Dan Tae pulling off a romantic play surprising Cheon Seo Jin with a ring. If I didn't know his wickedness then I'd probably get touched but hey, that ain't ever gonna happen. 

Won Jin Ah Confesses To Rowoon In She Would Never Know Episode 9

So this is exactly where we are going now in the second half of this drama with sunbae Yoon Song Ah living up to her feelings for Hyun Seung. The first half was more of Hyun Seung's effort in making her fall and guess what, his hard work really paid off. I really liked the last scene where Song Ah came to Hyun Seung for comfort. Ice cream was obviously an excuse but she probably didn't expect that Hyun Seung would see through her. The warm hug was so romantic! I think this is the best move Hyun Seung did so far in the show, and it wasn't really creepy as what he's used to do. This time sunbae was the one who came to him, she's the one seeking for his presence because she's realizing that the person she wanted to spend time to feel better was with him! Wow! Talk about smooth progress of their relationship. I really like it a lot!

So far, I really am liking this drama more and more. Although I'm getting concerned with the actress Won Jin Ah for having not so good outfits. This episode she looked like a character from Star Wars, really. I hope the production team would be mindful about the actors/actresses' outfits because it really is an eye sore while watching if they don't. lol 

Mr. Queen Closes With A 17.37% Nationwide Viewership Rating

This drama has officially ended and weekends won't be the same exciting and joyful anymore. Who wouldn't miss our tactless Queen Cheorin and naughty King Cheoljong? Their tandem is such a great combination that's fitting to anyone's taste in a Kdrama. The plot of Mr. Queen challenged creativity with wits and humor to infuse in their history. It was brave of them to do, the production have received criticisms along the airing period of Mr. Queen but garnering a high viewership rating meant how ready people are with such creativity too. They say you can't be creative if you're afraid after all. Kudos to the team of Mr. Queen for that. 

Na In Woo Sacrificed Himself For His Love In Mr. Queen Episode 19

I'm not gonna lie that I hated his character for getting too obsessed with Sobong but we all know that he did all possible ways in order to protect her too. I was really crying hard for his death and how he still managed to reminisce a good memory of Soyong before he dies. Him being in the same pitiful position how he died when Soyong and the others were on their way back to the palace was agonizing. Byeong In may have lost his life but he won in protecting Soyong until the very end. Such chivalry, we should admire. 

Because of Byeon In's death before Sobong's eyes, she was completely devastated. She was blaming herself for everyone's death and ready to accept the end of her life. My heart was really aching seeing the usual lively and carefree Sobong ended up in a situation like that. But thank goodness, because the King saved her from her misery. 

Im Se Mi Chose Between Han Seo Jun and Lee Suho

The actress behind Lim Ju Gyeong's big sister in True Beauty, Lim Hee Gyeong, answered the most difficult question in True Beauty fandom which was "Team Suho or Team Seojun?" The male actors of The Penthouse, including Uhm Ki Joon of course, are oozing with so much talent when it comes to their acting performances. All of them just made this drama even more exciting, really. Kim Jung Hyun To Sing An OST For Mr. Queen Kdrama

Today, it was officially announced that actor Kim Jung Hyun, who portrays King Cheoljong, will sing an OST for Mr. Queen. Not only he will lend his voice but he also helped in writing the lyrics for it. Wow! Talk about jack of all trades! 

The track is entitled 'Like The First Snow' and will be released this February 17. This song is about a desperation of a man who wanted to be with someone on the first snowfall. Somehow, I remembered True Beauty's Lee Suho and Lim Jookyung at Namsan tower because of this.

The Penthouse: War In Life Season2 Teases With New Still Cuts of Shin Eun Kyung and Yoo Joo Hee

Today, February 11, The Penthouse: War In Life season 2 teases fans with photos of Shin Eun Kyung and Yoo Joo Hee's photos portraying their individual roles of Kang Mari and Go Sang Ah respectively. The duo shows facial expressions like they are ready to attack someone while they are at the lobby of Hera Palace.

We have seen how these two create and spread gossips at Hera Palace that caused chaos not only to Oh Yoon Hee and Shim Suryeon's life, but to their own daughters as well. These two may seem naïve and spontaneous but their thoughts are evil and and run by their own egos. They are no different to Joo Dan Tae and Cheon Seo Jin for that matter.

Like I've been telling in my reviews for the previous episodes, Hyun Seung is someone obsessive over his love that makes him immature. That's what episode 8 clearly manifested with Hyun Seung's ex from the past came back. Look how irritated Hyun Seung became when the girl was pushing herself to him. Then he realized that they were the same, her to him and him to sunbae Song Ah. Phew! Truth hurts, Hyun Seung. 

Lee Da Hee Helps Kim Rae Won Regain His Memories In L.U.C.A.: The Beginning Episode 3

Ji Oh and Gu Reum started to roam places where he could regain his memories. They started in the foster home which houses the creepy nun. The entire time that blind nun was speaking, I was really irritated. I could absolutely tell that she's hiding something. I'm not sure if that flashback from the burning church was the only secret she's hiding but I really have a bad feeling about this nun. She's crazy! Ji Oh said it himself that she was the one who made him a monster. Blaming him for the church burning even when he already said that he wasn't the one who did it. That nun was the worst! Sometimes those people wrapped in holy dresses are the ones who are truly evil. Tch. 

Hwang In Yeop Got Overwhelmed With The Love He Received From TRUE BEAUTY

Today, February 9, Hwang In Yeop posted a story on his Instagram stating how much True Beauty became a precious drama to him and how portraying Han Seo Jun was a happy experience for him. 

He also mentioned that he wondered if he deserved receiving overwhelming love from the fans throughout the airing of True Beauty. He was really grateful. 

Hyun Seung Got Rejected Again In She Would Never Know Episode 7

Every time Yoon Song Ah sunbae rejects Chae Hyun Seung, it really sting a lot but there's a difference this time on this episode. When she tried to explain further about where her decision of rejecting him came from, it's her way saying to Hyun Seung to give her more time and heal before attending to his feelings. I honestly read that move as a progress of their relationship. She didn't want him to leave her life, it's evident how she starts to unconsciously think about Hyun Seung's feelings and well being.

Cha Eun Woo Cried Expressing He Wants To Get Married

In the recent episode of Masters In The House, Cha Eun Woo expressed his desire to get married after hearing out the stories of the married couple they guested on the show. He said that it's hard to find someone that you could connect with and tell everything including embarrasing moments but he sees having a family or marriage could make it possible.

He later then explained that it isn't much about marriage but having that someone to connect with is rare. He also mentioned that he hasn't found that person he could confide everything yet.
