Start-Up Episode 2: Seo Dal-Mi (Bae Suzy) Finally Meets Nam Do-San (Nam Joo Hyuk)

Have you guys seen episode 2?! Gosh! My heart just hurts for Nam Do-San and Seo Dal-Mi! They depicted the real hardships of passionate dreamers. I really am so into watching everyone start from this kind of path, be it real life or just a drama. Just proving that not everyone is lucky or fortunate in life. Life is unfair, the well off/ lucky ones will somehow get the upper hand while the not so well off ones would have to work 10 times harder. We just have to accept it, but of course it doesn't mean that if you're well off that you'll be able to get the success you have define for yourself, and it's the same way with the other side. It all really just comes down with how passionate, focused, equipped with talents/skills, and hardworking a person really is when it comes to how far one can go in chasing their dreams.

I find Seol Dal-Mi (Bae Suzy) really pitiful in this drama, because she depicts that someone who wanted to soar high but can only do so much for the moment. She wanted to prove something, but her situation didn't change ever since she was a child. Poor one, I wish to see her bare everything and use the extent of her abilities to chase after what she wanted. Her character is full of positive attitude when it comes to work, the perseverance is present but we haven't seen yet of what more she could offer. I wonder if she will continue the project her late father left, I wish she would and do everything in her power to make it successful then slap the mother and Won In-Jae in the face! lol

Nam Do-San (Nam Joo Hyuk) on the other hand is a bad ass. I mean, he sacrificed everything else for the project he believes in. He's really intelligent and has the skills, the newspaper and the awards are proofs, and we could imagine how far he get in his age (30s), but he sacrificed it all and worked hard for the project. When you believe in something, expect that not everyone would do the same. Not everyone will be on the same page, be it a stranger or even your own family, and all these were shown in todays episode, in the character of Nam Do-San. But hey, hard work really pays off in the end and we have seen that on the last part of the episode right? OMG I can't wait what more could happen. I really am not mad with Han Ji Pyung, the 'good boy'/ real childhood pen pal of Seol Dal Mi, saying awful things in front of Nam Do San because he has his own beliefs and probably just pissed off already that he got rejected with his offer so I'm not gonna hate him because of that.

Anyways, this post is getting longer as I'm getting carried away. lol This just shows how much I really enjoyed the episode. Start-Up really is interesting and I am so looking forward for more episodes!

Can I just say how I squealed where Nam Do San entered the scene where she'll meet Seo Dal Mi?! Ah! Such a fine man for a fine woman! The spark is already there! I love it so much!!!
