Nam Joo Hyuk & Kim Sun Ho Reveal Their Feelings For Bae Suzy in 'Start-Up' Episode 3

The latest episode of Start-Up is full of character developments and impactful twists. We are still on episode 3 and yet we're given so much to be excited for! The story progresses in a way that makes the viewers equalize their attention and curiosity over the four main leads. You can't just choose one or two persons to root for because they all have interesting stories to tell.

In the first 2 episodes, we can't deny that we almost fall onto that second lead syndrome as we were all moved by the strong front and intellectual yet soft hearted character of Ji Pyeong. But now we're left in dilemma who to choose for Dal Mi as the drama introduces a likeable character of Nam Do San. Who wouldn't like him? He has huge potential in what he's doing with AI technology/ Nam San Tech, he doesn't give up on his dreams, and obviously has an attraction for Dal Mi. His naivety when it comes to girls make him bolder with his reactions. That simple affirmation that he likes Dal Mi in the ending part was so cute! He's so sweet! Nam Do San may be a geek and clueless to love, but if someone really shows appreciation to you and to what you believe in will surely make anyone's heart beat. The scene where he asked about the music box is so powerful that makes you think that it's the start of something real between them. We all know Dal Mi was referring to Do San when she said that the music box sounded wonderful. The flashbacks really gave me goosebumps, it's so on point!
At this point, I seriously don't know which one to pick between Do San and Ji Pyeong. Ji Pyeong may still be in the denial stage when asked about Dal Mi, but I'm having a gut feeling that he'll eventually like Dal Mi the more he gets involved with her. I don't want to say this precisely as I'll let the writer do whatever he likes for the story. Surprise us, writer-nim!

On the other hand, let's be honest, we all want to pull Won In-Jae's hair from the previous episodes and the earlier parts of episode 3, right? But we're growing a bit of sympathy for her after she's being slowly abandoned by his step-father on their business. Not as much sympathetic we are for Dal Mi though, but I know you get my point. I'm curious how she and Dal Mi would fix their sisterhood especially since they still have that strong rivalry, wanting to prove themselves and their choices to each other.

Our 4 leads are starting to venture out of their comfort zones and are taking a step in achieving a dream for themselves. The part where they have written their ambition in a note just made me realize what type of a person they are individually.

Seo Dal Mi's note:

Won In Jae's note:

Nam Do San's note:

Ji Pyeong's note:

Also, may I just point out how important Dal Mi's grandmother is in this story? Gosh, I want to thank her for everything, making Ji Pyeong, Seol Dal Mi and Nam Do San cross path. I wish we won't have negative occurrence that will involve her in the future episodes.
